The BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2026 League Stage is set to begin on August 10, bringing some of India’s top BGMI teams into action. The first day will feature six matches, with teams from Groups A, B, and C competing across Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar.

The action will start at 4:00 PM IST and continue until 7:20 PM IST. Here is everything you need to know about the BGMS 2026 League Day 1 schedule, teams, groups, maps, and where to watch the matches.

BGMS 2026 League Day 1 schedule

A total of six matches will be played on the opening day. The first three matches will feature Group A and Group B teams, while the final three matches will involve Group C and Group B teams.

What to expect from BGMS 2026 Day 1

PUBG Mobile 4.6 Beta is already live

Before the global release, the PUBG Mobile 4.6 Beta is already available for players to test some of the upcoming content. The Beta 2 version has revealed several exciting features planned for the new update, including a vampire-themed mode, new PvE enemies, special missions, themed locations, and new items.

The new themed mode will bring a completely different experience to the battleground, with players facing powerful vampire enemies while trying to survive. Some of these PvE enemies can evolve into stronger forms, making them more difficult to defeat.

iQOO Pro Series Season 4 format

The tournament will begin with the Playoffs, where all 18 invited teams will compete.

GodLike Esports entered the PMWC 2026 Group Stage with a lot of pressure on their shoulders. Two Indian teams were competing in the tournament, and many fans expected them to struggle against the world’s best teams.

However, GodLike showed from the beginning that they were not going to play a passive game.

On the final day, the team started with a huge performance on Rondo. GodLike played aggressively from the opening minutes and finished the match with 20 eliminations and 30 points. Saumay was one of the biggest stars of the game, while Spower and Admino also played an important role.

The team then had mixed results in the next few matches. They were eliminated by S2G twice, but they recovered strongly in the fourth game. Saumay produced a brilliant individual performance and helped GodLike finish second in the match.

Orangutan finished second in Group A with 91 points, while GodLike Esports finished third in Group B with 105 points.

This means India has achieved a perfect 2/2 qualification record at PMWC 2026.

BGMS 2026 League Stage: Schedule and Teams

The BGMS Season 5 League Stage will take place from August 10 to August 30, 2026. A total of 26 teams will compete across 21 matchdays, with 126 matches being played in total. The League Stage is divided into several phases: League Week 1, Bounty Weekend, League Week 2, Super Weekend 1, League Week 3, and Super Weekend 2.

League Week 1

League Week 2 will be held from August 17 to 20. A total of 16 teams will compete and play 24 matches across four matchdays, with six matches played each day.

The points earned here will be added to the League Leaderboard. At the end of this phase, the top eight teams will qualify for Super Weekend 1. The remaining eight teams will move to League Week 3.

Super Weekend 1

Super Weekend 1 will take place from August 21 to 23 and will feature 16 teams. The lineup will consist of six teams from Bounty Weekend, eight teams from League Week 2, and invited teams GodLike Esports and Orangutan.

The teams will play 18 matches over three days. Unlike the League Weeks, the points earned during Super Weekend will be recorded separately on the Super Weekend Leaderboard.

At the end of Super Weekend 1, the top eight teams will qualify for Super Weekend 2. The other eight teams will drop to League Week 3 for another chance to qualify.

League Week 3

League Week 3 will run from August 24 to 27. The 16 teams that did not qualify for Super Weekend 2 through Super Weekend 1 will compete in this phase.

They will play 24 matches across four matchdays, with six matches each day. Their points will be added to the League Leaderboard. At the end of League Week 3, the top eight teams will qualify for Super Weekend 2.

Super Weekend 2

Super Weekend 2 will be the final phase of the League Stage and will run from August 28 to 30. A total of 16 teams will compete, playing 18 matches over three matchdays.

The points from these matches will be added to the Super Weekend Leaderboard. This leaderboard will play a major role in deciding which teams advance to the Grand Finals and Playoffs.

The top six teams on the Super Weekend Leaderboard will directly qualify for the Grand Finals. The teams finishing 7th to 16th will advance to the Playoffs.

There will also be another route to the Playoffs through the League Leaderboard. The top six teams on the League Leaderboard, excluding teams that have already qualified through the Super Weekend Leaderboard, will advance to the Playoffs.

Finally, the bottom two teams on the League Leaderboard will be eliminated from the tournament. So, by the end of Super Weekend 2, the League Stage will determine the teams heading to the Grand Finals, the Playoffs, and those whose tournament journey comes to an end.

BTR Vitality dominates Group B Day 1

BTR Vitality was the biggest story of PMWC 2026 Group B Day 1. The team finished the day with an impressive 108 points and opened up a huge lead over the rest of the competition.

NS RedForce finished second with 60 points, while Horaa Esports followed closely behind with 59 points. eArena also had a solid day and ended in fourth place with 58 points.

GodLike Esports finishes Day 1 in top five

Indian fans had plenty to cheer about as GodLike Esports ended the day in fifth place with 37 points.

Riot Games could be working on issuing penalties for malicious usage of direct messages alongside a noise suppression feature for voice chat in Valorant, recent leaks suggest.

The leaks were put forward by prominent Valorant leaker and dataminer valohabercisi, who shared their findings via an X post on August 6.

According to the leaker, the Valorant devs have already started working on the two aforementioned features.

New Valorant Features Leaked: Noise Suppression and DM Bans

As per the leaks, the noise suppression feature for voice chat is being developed with Krisp AI, which is the same noise suppression present on Discord.

Upon enabling this feature, it will aim to reduce all background noise coming from your microphone and ensure that your voice reaches other players more clearly.

Apart from the noise suppression, another new feature might see players who use bad language in direct messages to their friends receiving penalties in the future.

However, several players have expressed concerns over the penalties coming to whisper messages, as Riot is already infamous for its overly strict approach to chat moderation. Players are worried that the system could potentially hand out punishments for messages sent jokingly or taken out of context, especially in private conversations between friends.

That said, Riot has yet to officially confirm how the new system will work or what kind of penalties players could receive for inappropriate direct messages.
