The Valorant community’s prayers have been answered, and Riot Games has finally confirmed that a replay system is coming to the competitive shooter.
The replay system has been one of Valorant’s most heavily requested features — if not the most requested — ever since the game’s initial release in June 2020. The absence of a replay system in Valorant meant players had to rely on third-party software to be able to see their highlights or analyze their gameplay, which is certainly a frustrating solution, especially for those on low-end PCs.
Now, after five years of relentless demand from the community, the developers have finally given us an official release date for the Valorant replay system.
When is the Valorant Replay System Coming?
As per an announcement from Anna “SuperCakes” Donlon, Valorant Studio Head, on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the highly anticipated replay system is coming to Valorant in September 2025.
While the exact release date of the Valorant replay system hasn’t been disclosed yet, Riot devs are likely to share further updates regarding this feature in the coming months. There’s also a possibility of the replay system being unveiled during Champions 2025, which is scheduled to kick off on September 12th.
Alongside confirming the Valorant replay system, the announcement also addressed the “Ability Overload” issue, which has become more pronounced with new Agents being continually added to the game.
The devs have reassured the Valorant community that they have already started working on fixing the problem, with changes set to gradually roll out throughout the year.
