GodLike Esports’ Amar Opens Up About BGMI Team’s Struggle

0

GodLike Esports was one of the most successful Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams in the esports scene. However, the team has recently encountered obstacles which have prevented them from performing up to the mark set by them previously. Amar “AmaR” Changude, the co-owner of GodLike Esports, recently offered invaluable insights into the factors contributing to the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team’s downturn in performance.

Amar Believes Frequent Roster Changes Was the Reason Behind the Poor Performance of GodLike Esports’ Roster

In a recent livestream, Amar recently went online to discuss GodLike Esports with its fanbase. During this, he pointed out that the frequent changes in the organization’s BGMI roster was the main culprit behind the team’s stint of poor performance as it created instability in the team. “If I had to point out a mistake from our end so far, it would be that we made a lot of changes. We changed our roster after every tournament. See, we first took Maccc, then replaced him with Apollo. That is a change. Before this, we took Spower, ClutchGod also played, and there were more such changes. There were so many shuffles in the playing four. And because of that, there were issues,” he said.

Talking about the organization’s future plans to get back on track, Amar emphasized that if the current roster performs well, GodLike Esports will refrain from making further changes. “If the team is playing extremely poorly, then we will think about it then. But there will be no changes anytime soon,” he added.

Amar Reveals GodLike Esports’ BGMI Roster Indeed Had a Coach

Amar also clarified that contrary to speculations, GodLike Esports did indeed sign a coach during the past tournaments. “Those who thought that we didn’t have a coach during the recent elimination, we had a coach and we communicated with him properly. But the thing was, the coach was not Indian, he was from Mongolia. At that time, the coach had some health issues, so they couldn’t give much time. He used to guide well, but couldn’t work full-time,” he said.

The acknowledgment of past missteps could actually play a crucial role in the comeback of Godlike Esports’ BGMI roster.  Previously, renowned Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) caster Zeeshan “Mazy” Alam also pointed out that the frequent roster changes was the root cause of GodLike Esports’ poor performance. It will be interesting to see if GodLike Esports retain their former glory.

Valorant Releases Valentine’s Day Bundle

0

Riot Games introduces a whimsical nod to love’s enduring spirit with the “Link Up and Lock In” accessory bundle. Celebrating Valentine’s Day, this limited-time offering intertwines the thrill of the game with the warmth of affection, proving once again that even in the heat of battle, there’s room for a bit of romance.

Announced with a flutter of excitement on Twitter, this collection is Riot’s love letter to the community, available from February 13 to 28. It’s not just another set of in-game items; it’s a testament to the belief that amidst the rigors of competition, there’s a place for heartfelt connections.

The bundle, priced at an accessible 1,650 Valorant points (around $20), includes a dynamic gun buddy, player cards, and sprays, each infused with a touch of Valentine’s charm. However, it’s the unique features of these items that truly capture the essence of camaraderie and companionship intrinsic to Valorant‘s core.

At the heart of the collection lies a simple yet extraordinary cat doll gun buddy. Its charm lies not just in its adorable design but in its responsiveness to the game’s dynamics. A solitary player wielding this charm will see it glow with a gentle yellow hue. But when bullets fly, the cat’s expression shifts to one of feisty displeasure.

The magic unfolds when two players come together, each adorning their weapon with this emblem of unity. The cat’s face blossoms into a rosy pink, its eyes brimming with hearts, symbolizing the power of partnership and mutual support.

The bundle’s sprays and player cards follow suit, featuring the cat dolls in both yellow and pink, echoing the theme of duality and connection. It’s a playful yet poignant reminder of the bonds formed in the heat of battle, a celebration of the friendships that endure beyond the screen.

Yet, amid the excitement, a small storm brewed over a typo on Valorant’s official page, leading players to momentarily believe the bundle was a gift rather than a purchase. The mix-up, a simple confusion between “Log In and Link Up” and the correct “Link Up and Lock In,” sparked a wave of frustration among fans eager for Valentine’s Day treats. Riot’s quick clarification, while necessary, was a bittersweet twist to an otherwise sweet gesture.

BGMI Esports Might Get Transfer Window Periods, Says Mazy

0

The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports scene is grappling with instability marked by frequent player team changes and allegations of poaching, posing a threat to the game’s competitive growth. Popular caster Zishan “Mazy” Alam recently hinted at the possibility of potential implementation of two transfer windows annually. Additionally, he also discussed the benefits of implementing such a system.

Mazy Believes Two Transfer Windows Would Be Right for BGMI Esports Scene

The BGMI esports scene is currently facing instability characterized by frequent player team changes and accusations of poaching between teams. This volatility within the competitive landscape can disrupt the growth of the game’s esports ecosystem as a whole.

In a recent livestream, Mazy revealed that BGMI might get the system of two transfer windows per year before the commencement of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGIS) 2024. However, he emphasized that he wasn’t entirely sure about the news.  “There will be proper transfer windows where you can change your players, bring in new players, and it will be done properly. It means you can buy out a player and have them, or you can let them go by allowing someone else to buy them out. So hopefully this thing will be executed,” he added.

Considering the mentality of BGMI players, their age, and their professionalism, Mazy expressed his belief that two transfer windows per year would be the right approach. “Our players are still very young and take things personally very quickly. And when they take things personally, they don’t play well with the team, and when they don’t play well with the team, both the organization and the players suffer. Whenever there is a team game, you have to put your ego and other things aside a little. So according to me, having two transfer windows is right,” he added.

Mazy Envisions Transfer Window Impact on Tournament Integration

Moreover, Mazy suggested that the introduction of transfer window periods in BGMI esports could facilitate closer integration between official tournaments and third-party events. “Maybe if the transfer window is allowed twice a year, then perhaps we can link third-party tournaments to official tournaments. Because suppose a team is not performing well in official tournaments, but they are performing well in third-party tournaments. So if this transfer window situation is executed, you can link third-party events officially,” he added.

Is Palworld Cross Platform?

0

Over the past few weeks, Pocket Pair’s newest monster-catching action-adventure title Palworld has taken the world of video games by storm. With over 19 million copies being sold and a concurrent player peak of a whopping 2.1 million on Steam alone, Palworld has sent shockwaves throughout the gaming industry by becoming the second-most played game ever on Steam in terms of peak active players.

If you’re a fan of the Pokemon franchise and looking to venture into a world where base-building meets monster-catching, Palworld is the game for you.

Like most other open-world survival games on the internet, Palworld is best enjoyed with friends. While you can certainly have a good time playing it by yourself and catching all sorts of Pals that you can find, playing with your buddies can make the process much easier and more enjoyable.

However, before you go ahead and purchase Palworld on your preferred platform, it’s extremely important to know whether the game supports crossplay between Xbox and PC so that you can play it with your friends.

Does Palworld Have Crossplay Between Xbox and PC?

To put it simply, while there’s a way for players to play cross-platform between Xbox and PC, it lacks crossplay functionality between the Steam and Xbox versions.

This means that Xbox players can enjoy Palworld with friends who are using the Game Pass version on PC, and vice versa. However, crossplay is not available between the Steam and Xbox versions, meaning players on Steam cannot connect with their friends on Xbox, and vice versa. Additionally, players on the Steam version on PC cannot play with friends who are on the Game Pass version.

However, Palworld developers have confirmed that the game will support crossplay between the Steam and Xbox versions at some point in the future. In a Discord Q&A, the devs have claimed that they are “working to make this [crossplay] a possibility as soon as possible.”

How to Copy Valorant Crosshair in 2024?

0

If you’re looking to get good aim in Valorant, one of the first things you should do is get a good crosshair for yourself. A decent Valorant crosshair can help you land your shots on the enemies’ heads, maintain good crosshair placement, and also during sprays with automatic guns like the Phantom or Vandal.

With thousands of custom Valorant crosshair codes being readily available on the internet, it’s unlikely that you’ll face a lack of options anytime soon. You might pick a crosshair that’s used by your favorite pro player, or just create a unique crosshair for yourself.

However, there are also times when you hop onto a Valorant game and see one of your teammates having the best crosshair you’ve ever seen. At times like these, you might want to copy their Valorant crosshair in-game and save it for your future games.

Luckily, Riot Games enables players to copy the crosshairs of other Valorant players that they find in-game. In this article, we’re gonna explain how you can copy the crosshairs of your Valorant teammates in 2024.

How To Copy Teammate’s Crosshair in Valorant

To copy your teammate’s crosshair in Valorant once you’re in a game with them, simply follow these steps:

  • Spectate the player that you want to copy the crosshair from after you die.
  • Open the chat window by pressing ‘enter’ on your keyboard.
  • Type ‘/cc’ without the quotation marks.
  • Press enter to send the message.

After you send the message in chat, you’ll automatically get the crosshair added to your crosshair profile settings and you’ll be able to play with it in your future games.

How To Copy Any Valorant Crosshair Using Codes

Where to Hire a Character in Fortnite?

0

To hire a character in Fortnite, players need to find NPCs that offer the hire option. Not all NPCs are hireable; only selected ones come with this feature. Once you encounter a hireable NPC, interact with them and choose the “Hire” option.

This action requires spending Fortnite gold bars, a currency you can accumulate by completing various in-game tasks and challenges. The cost for hiring an NPC usually ranges up to 200 gold bars, depending on the season and the specific NPC’s capabilities.

Where to Hire a Character in Fortnite?

Hired NPCs contribute to your gameplay in several ways. They can follow you around the map, engage in combat, and provide support like healing, ammo resupply, or even acting as a decoy. Moreover, some NPCs offer unique services like prop disguise, rift teleportation, storm circle hints, and weapon purchases, all of which can be crucial in securing victory.

In Chapter 5 Season 1, for instance, players could hire NPCs with specialized roles, including:

  • Sun Tan Specialist – On the coast of the island between Snooty Steppes and Pleasant Piazza
  • Metal Mouth – At The Cemetery, North of Reckless Railways
  • Mecha Team Shadow – At Riviera Station, Northwest of Ruined Reels
  • Steelsight – At Rebel’s Roost
  • Contract Giller – On the dock North of Classy Courts
  • Snow Striker – At the Summit Base Camp, South of Grand Glacier
  • Solid Snake – North of Lavish Lair
  • Dara – At Lil’Villa, east of Fencing Fields

These specialists add a layer of strategic depth to the game, allowing players to choose NPCs that best complement their playstyle.

While having an NPC ally offers numerous benefits, players should also be aware of the risks. NPCs can be eliminated in combat, and once they’re gone, they cannot be revived or rebooted.

This loss can be a significant setback, especially if you’ve come to rely on their services during a match. Therefore, it’s crucial to use NPCs strategically, protecting them in skirmishes and leveraging their abilities wisely.

Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets: The Rifler Who Shocked Everyone at IEM Katowice 2024

IEM Katowice has yielded a surprise winner in Team Spirit who until this point wasn’t in any conversation as the favourites to win tournaments after a roster rebuild. One of the pillars of the said roster is a 17-year-old Russian CS prodigy Danil “donk” Kryshkovets who has shown rifling prowess, unlike anything we have witnessed before on the grand stage.

Team Spirit has undergone a plethora of roster changes in recent history and has managed to cause some notable upsets on big stages however the addition of donk has changed the outlook of the team. While most teams are built around AWPers, Team Spirit’s heavy reliance on a rifler was unprecedented but donk has delivered in aces and spades across the event proving everyone wrong.

Donk rose through the ranks of Team Spirit’s Academy and was swiftly promoted to the main squad in August 2023, showcasing impressive teamwork and camaraderie. From that point on, he consistently delivered stunning performances, earning two MVP titles. But it was at the BetBoom Dacha tournament before Katowice 2024 where donk truly made a statement, receiving his first MVP award and solidifying his position as the youngest ever to do so. And now, his remarkable debut at IEM Katowice 2024 is capturing the attention of fans and critics alike.

Team Spirit has managed to speedrun through the entire tournament dropping only one map against NAVI. While the performance of such an order was unexpected from a freshly minted team, fans have called into question whether donk is legit. Several notable members of the community have joined the conversation who are still dubious of his legitimacy.
