Ubisoft’s free to play, first person shooter Xdefiant is a fast paced, action-packed game where you have the ability to choose between five different factions – Libertad, Phantoms, Echelon, Cleaners and DedSec. Each faction comes with unique skills and abilities. Being a free-to-play title, Ubisoft has confirmed that purchasable items like weapons and player skins, weapon attachments and more would be available in the game. After ‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate,’ Shadows has been confirmed to have two protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. In a recent interview with IGN, Ubisoft has confirmed that you will have the ability to freely switch between the two protagonists, ‘Naoe’ an adept Shinobi, and ‘Yasuke’ a powerful African Samurai.

Creative Director Jonathan Dumont went on to explain that they wanted “two different play styles on two different characters with two different storylines.” As revealed on Ubisoft’s official website, you will not be forced to approach any quests with any one character. You will be allowed to choose the character that best suits your skills and play style.

Confused between ‘Naoe’ and ‘Yasuke’

As explained by Associate Narrative Director Brooke Davies, ‘Naoe’ is “the imagined daughter of a real historical figure Fujibayashi Nagato” who trained her to be a Shinobi. You can expect ‘Naoe’s’ play style to be stealthy and fast-paced in nature.

‘Yasuke’ is the first real figure accessible as a playable character in the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise. Described as the ‘Legendary Black Samurai,’ Davies added ‘Yasuke’ was “likely born in Mozambique, likely stolen as a child by the Portuguese (and) brought to Japan.” His play style emphasizes strength and direct combat.

Last night, a major leak from Gabe Follower emerged online, revealing the title of Valve’s forthcoming competitive shooter: “Deadlock.” Since our initial report on the topic, additional leaks and gameplay screenshots from the closed alpha testing have surfaced online, providing us with a clearer picture of what players can expect from the game.

Valve’s Next Game: Deadlock

For the uninitiated, Deadlock is set to be Valve’s next major entry into the competitive shooter genre. Previously known as ‘Neon Prime’ or ‘Citadel’, Deadlock will be a third-person hero-based shooter featuring intense, fast-paced gameplay on a huge map with multiple lanes.

As per the leaks, Deadlock will feature two teams of six players competing on a large map with four distinct lanes. Players will be able to fast-travel using floating rails, reminiscent of those in Bioshock Infinite. Only a few hours after the leak, reputable leaker Tyler McVicker shared a bunch of important information about the game through a YouTube video. 

In his video, McVicker claimed that Deadlock is already in closed alpha testing with hundreds of people already playing the game. Initially, testing was limited to friends and family members of Valve employees, but the invites have since been extended more broadly.

He further claimed that several competitive YouTubers have also been invited to test out the game under an NDA and that an official announcement from Valve on the game’s release is likely imminent.

Deadlock Gameplay Screenshots Leaked

Following the initial leaks about “Deadlock,” numerous closed alpha gameplay screenshots have appeared on social media forums.

Gabe Follower has curated and verified some of these leaks in a tweet of his own.

One of the leaked images provides the first look at the hero Grey Talon. He is capable of delivering ‘long range skill-shots’ to his opponents on the battlefield and has been described as “a cunning predator, who uses a combination of deadly accuracy, traps, and clever positioning to bring down the toughest of opponents.”

The other leaked screenshots reveal parts of the map, some of the other hero icons, and the aforementioned transit line that players can use to traverse the map faster.

Do keep in mind that all the information presented in this article is based on leaks and has not been confirmed by Valve at the time of writing. The community is noticeably excited, eagerly anticipating official announcements and more details about Deadlock.

Amid their continuous war for subscribers, MrBeast has challenged the CEO of Indian record company T-Series to square off against him in a boxing ring.

This boxing challenge takes place amid MrBeast and T-Series’ sincere battle for the top spot on YouTube in terms of subscribers. MrBeast has subsequently surpassed all other creators on the platform, with T-Series being the only one standing in his way.

“I challenge the CEO of T-Series to a boxing match,” he wrote.

GTA 6 publisher believes the game will be released Fall of 2025

Despite reports suggesting that the game’s development was lagging, it is still scheduled for release in 2025. The publisher of Grand Theft Auto 6, Take-Two Interactive, said during an earnings call that the next GTA 6 game will launch in the fall of 2025.

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game of the decade and the entire process leading up to the launch has been anything but smooth. Starting with the data breach, to the launch delay, GTA 6 had its fair share of controversies.

GTA 6 has been under development for a long time and it remained a well-kept secret until someone revealed it online and the developers were forced to announce it. Following its trailer reveal, the anticipation has built up even more but the launch remains more than a year away.

“We do feel highly confident that we’ll deliver [Grand Theft Auto VI] in fall of 2025,” Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick said.

The publishers have reassured in their statement that the game will be in the hard drives of millions in the fall of 2025. Given the last GTA game was released around a decade ago, we can expect GTA 6 to build on the success of GTA V but rushing the release has often led to debacles like CP2077.
