Gameplay Mechanics

This event has two different modes namely; “Free & Easy Fun” and “Hardly Even Hardball”. Each one offers different experience in terms of gameplay styles as well as new sets of challenges:

Scoring and Strategy

To be able to accumulate enough points for high scores while playing Genshin Impact’s Bing-Bang Finchball game it is important that players place their birds strategically on points zones which have been demarcated with different colors representing varied points values. For instance, Finchballs stopping inside the red ring earn 4 points, while those in the yellow and blue rings earn 2 and 1 point, respectively.

Faker Now Has More Skins Than 41 Champs in League of Legends

Key Takeaways:

  • Faker’s upcoming T1 Orianna skin makes it the seventh in the League of Legends’ cosmetic series, surpassing the number of skins for almost a quarter of its champions.
  • It was noted by one Reddit user that 41 champions have lesser cosmetics than Faker while ten others have similar ones.
  • They consist of T1 Orianna, HOF Ahri, LeBlanc, Ryze, Syndra and Zed; representing each of his Summoner’s Cup wins.
  • Some characters such as Viego, Kayn, Smolder and Lillia who are either modern or age-old do not have as many skins like Faker.
  • Faker has numerous skins that he possesses signifying his legendary status and long-lasting impact on League of Legends history.

The upcoming T1 Orianna skin marks the seventh cosmetic associated with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok in League of Legends, which means that the 28-year-old now has more skins in the game than almost a quarter of the LoL Champions.

In a recent Reddit thread, user ‘KIRYUx’ highlighted the names of 41 champions that have fewer skins than Faker, along with an additional 10 champions who have the same number of skins as him in the game.

Faker’s lineup of skins in League of Legends features the upcoming T1 Orianna skin, his iconic yet controversial Hall-of-Fame Ahri skins, a LeBlanc skin, and memorable cosmetics for Ryze, Syndra, and Zed, each representing a Summoner’s Cup he’s won over the years.

While the majority of the champions on the list are relatively newer additions to the MOBA, champs like Viego, Kayn, Smolder, and Lillia who have been around for a while still have fewer skins compared to Faker.

Overall, Faker’s impressive array of skins highlights his legendary status in League of Legends history. While many champions in the game still have fewer skins, Faker’s collection stands as a testament to his lasting impact and success in the game’s competitive scene.

Valorant Champions 2024 Live: Teams, Schedule, Format, and Prize Pool

The VALORANT Champions Tours have had global showdowns with the 2024 one being no exception. This year’s championship is set to be held between the world’s top VALORANT teams, with Seoul, South Korea – serving as the center stage for all the action.

From August 1st to 25th, the best of the best will be battling against each other for the ultimate title with the tournament split into the COEX Atrium in Seoul and the INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, where the latter is capable of hosting a staggering 15,000 fans.

Given the atmosphere at events like VCT Masters Shanghai, expectations for packed houses are high more than ever this year.

The first phase is the group stage where one team from each region will be selected, with the best of three style selections. Each group will have double bracket formats and the teams to drop two matches will be eliminated.

The losers will battle it out in the lower brackets, where winners will move on to the decider match, where they can get a chance to move to the playoffs.

There will also be a draw once each group has gone through the rigorous winner’s finale matches and the decider matches. This is where the playoffs come into the picture, where they will be played in a best-of-3 format until the lower bracket finale and the Grand finale.

The Lower bracket and the grand finale will be played as best-of-five series matches. While the best of 3 series sounds like low effort in such later stages of the tournament, this is due to the playoffs being double elimination rounds which already provide wild card opportunities for the teams that ended up stumbling in the earlier stages of the tournament.

Where to watch the Valorant Champions 2024 Live

For fans who want to witness peak VALORANT gameplay, Riot Games will be broadcasting the action live from the mainstage on their official YouTube and Twitch channels. With a worldwide audience, you can expect to see watch parties popping up everywhere, both online and offline.

And for global audiences like you, the tournament will be streamed in multiple languages, including fan favorites like Japanese, French, and even Hindi!

History of the Valorant Champions till now

The tournament has a track record of three consecutive iterations so far, ever since the game’s initial launch on June 2, 2020.

Riot initially used a gradual development process for Valorant when it launched with privately organized events where select teams were invited to kick the tournament / pro-esports scene off before moving on to joint venture events like the First Strike, VCT, and even the four partnership leagues.

Team Acend lifted the very first trophy in 2022, after which the next cup went into the hands of LOUD in 2022. During the 2023 tournament, Evil Geniuses were the most recent team to get their hands on the trophy.

How to Play League of Legends in Fullscreen Mode?

League of Legends a Moba title by Riot games is a popular game that can be played in various settings but one of the most common methods to play the game is in full-screen mode.

While some prefer a smaller “windowed” mode, especially streamers who only would want to stream the game screen and tab out to other applications for their companion apps – the vast majority of players, like us, stick to the full-screen mode.

But, the question of the hour is – How do you use full-screen mode on League of Legends? We’ve got you covered.

Full-screen mode on League of Legends

Mostly every League of Legends client on the market opens up in full screen by default. This is a hardware-related choice, but in case you own a monitor that displays the game in a different resolution, ugly black bars are going to appear on both sides of your screen.

While some of the players won’t mind this, a lot of players will find this distracting can also ruin gameplay. So, here is how to change from the window mode to the fullscreen mode in your next League of Legends game.

How to set League of Legends in Fullscreen mode

  • Press the “Esc” key on the keyboard while in game
  • Click on the “Video” tab in the menu
  • Scroll to the right to find the “Windowed mode” setting and select the dropdown
  • Find the “full screen” option, and save the settings.

Note: the screen may go black for a second, but after a second or so, the resolution should be fixed and the game should be back to normal.

Best Screen resolution for League of Legends

Like almost every other game, this game is best optimized for 1920×1080 screens and the game looks the best at this resolution. While it is not necessary to run it in this resolution, it does boil down to preference. The game in itself, however, does not have a lot of demanding processing requirements.

Here are the minimum system requirements for League of Legends. Having the optimal resolution ensures no additional load on your processor and also removes the black bars allowing you to dominate the rift at your best.

This is because the game has to process all the background applications if you are running it in windowed mode and this can pull down the FPS in the game – causing problems.

Overwatch 2 ‘Settings Not Saved’ Error: How To Fix

0

Since the dawn of the release of Overwatch 2, players have been encountering the infamous ‘settings not saved’ error when trying to play the game. While the error isn’t a big problem for some players and won’t hinder your ability to join queues, it can be extremely frustrating at times since it will prevent you from saving your in-game settings for future use.

If you’re an Overwatch 2 player, you may have faced this problem in the past upon exiting and restarting the game client. The ‘settings not saved’ error resets your game settings to default, and you have to manually input the settings every time upon starting the game, which can be pretty annoying.

With that being said, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for this problem, and the fix may vary between players. If you’re encountering the Overwatch 2 ‘settings not saved’ error yourself, we have you covered.

How To Fix Overwatch 2 ‘Settings Not Saved’ Error

The Overwatch 2 ‘settings not saved’ error can be caused by a number of different reasons, including corrupt game files, Steam cloud sync being turned off, or a problem with the game servers. While you can’t do much to fix a server-side issue, the former issues can easily be fixed in just a few simple steps.

Here’s what you need to do to fix the ‘settings not saved’ error in Overwatch 2:

  • Verify Game Files: Go to your Steam Library, right-click on ‘Overwatch 2’, go to ‘Properties’ > ‘Installed Files’ and hit ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’. Wait for the verification process to finish. By doing so, Steam will automatically download any missing or corrupt game files for Overwatch 2, thereby fixing the issue.
  • Administrator Mode: Right-click on your Overwatch 2 icon and select ‘Run as Administrator’. Once done, go to the Documents folder on your PC, right-click on it and select ‘Properties’. Once done, uncheck the Read-only settings and see if it fixes the problem.
  • Reinstall Overwatch 2: If nothing else works, your best bet is to reinstall the game from scratch.

If you’ve followed the aforementioned methods correctly, chances are that your ‘settings not saved’ error in Overwatch 2 should likely be fixed. If the problem persists, then there might be an issue with the game servers, in which case you’ll have to wait till Blizzard deploys an update addressing it.

FiveM Is Coming to Consoles: Report

0

According to reports, FiveM the platform that players use for GTA RP and other modifications when playing GTA Online is likely to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Cfx.re, the team that developed the technology behind FiveM was acquired by Rockstar about a year ago. The community assumed that their services would likely be a part of GTA VI when it will arrive in the coming months. However, any developments were delayed given the legal disputes that occurred during the acquisition.

It was known during the acquisition that Rockstar was developing their in-house services to rival FiveM however, the acquisition changed that narrative. GTA Focal, a reputed source has pointed out that the developers have something in store to release in early fall which is likely a conversion tool for FiveM. It is further stated the consoles will also be getting an update which is likely to be access to the platform.

Despite this, the community remains pretty passive about the reports. With GTA VI on the horizon, it can assumed that fans are not all that excited about anything that comes with GTA V given most are getting suited for transitioning to the new game.

When Is UFL Releasing?

0

UFL is the latest contender to challenge EA Sports for the throne of Football Simulation Games and its release is finally around the corner. With EA FC 25 set to release next month, UFL’s launch has been strategically placed ahead of EA FC to give users its experience without competition breathing down its neck.

EA Sports has decades’ worth of experience in building a Football simulation game and despite its glaring shortcomings, no one has been able to dethrone them till today, even after losing out on the FIFA tag which was supposedly their biggest advantage.

UFL early access exact release time and date

Early Access for UFL starts on Sep. 5, 2024.

Pre-ordering only grants access to certain special bundles while the main game remains free to play as promised by the developers which will be released on Sep. 12, 2024.

Is a New CS2 Operation in the Works?

Counter-Strike 2 has been around for quite a while now and most of the major updates aimed to fix the plethora of things wrong with the game since its launch. Even after months of it being released, players come across bugs that ruin the experience more often than not let alone an anti-cheat.

During Counter-Strike’s Birthday last month, fans assumed that Valve would bring forth a new Operation as it has been quite a while since Riptide was launched. However, all fans were greeted with was a celebratory tweet despite rumor mills pointing towards a new operation.

However, the latest developments pointed out by reliable Valve data miner Aquarius, a major update may be in the works and it can be expected soon.

According to Aquarius, CS2 developers have backed up the current stable build of the game on Steam. A major update generally follows this step as backing up gives them a chance to roll back the version on the off-chance that anything goes wrong.

While we cannot say for sure that what is on its way to the game an Operation would be an educated guess. Operations do not usually tend to create performance issues however, it is generally a massive update, and with CS2 tournaments like IEM Cologne around the corner, developers are not looking to push an update without keeping backups.
