Clash of Clans Legend League Rework Coming in April

0

The April update is right around the corner, and dataminers have struck again. A massive new leak just hit the community, revealing that the end-game trophy pushing experience is getting a complete overhaul. If you sit at the top of the leaderboards, this upcoming Clash of Clans Legend League rework is going to totally change your daily grind.

Based on a viral leak post, Supercell is completely restructuring how the top players compete. Let’s break down the new sub-leagues, the upcoming migration week, and the new inactivity rules.

The Three New Legend Sub-Leagues

According to the leaked details, the traditional Legend League is splitting into three distinct sub-leagues: Legend 1, Legend 2, and Legend 3. While the daily star bonus stays exactly the same across all three tiers, the gameplay modifiers will be different depending on where you place.

Here is how the new competitive format breaks down for each tier:

  • Legend 3: This tier shifts to a weekly tournament format rather than a daily grind. Players are required to complete 24 battles per week, and there are only 5 promotion spots available to move up.
  • Legend 2: Also operating on a weekly tournament schedule, this tier steps up the difficulty. You will need to complete 30 battles per week, with only 3 highly contested promotion spots available.
  • Legend 1: This is the absolute peak of the game. Players in Legend 1 face a grueling schedule of 8 battles per day. Furthermore, a massive purge happens every single Monday: anyone who falls below the top 10,000 players will face an automatic demotion.

The Big Migration Week (April 20–27)

So, how do you get placed into these new tiers? The leak outlines a “Migration week” scheduled for April 20 through April 27. Where you finish at the start of this period determines your new rank.

Here is the official placement breakdown:

  • Top 12,500 players: Sent straight to Legend 1.
  • Top 50,000 players: Placed into Legend 2.
  • The rest of the players in Legend: Placed into Legend 3.
  • Below 4,900 trophies: If you drop below this threshold, you will instantly be kicked out of Legend entirely and placed in the Electro 33 league.

Quality of Life and Inactivity Changes

This Clash of Clans Legend League rework isn’t just about making the game harder; it also brings some much-needed burnout protection.

First, players in lower competitive tiers (from Titan 25 down to Electro 33) will see fewer battles required for their leagues.

Second, the inactivity penalty is getting a massive overhaul. Under the new system, you can be completely inactive for two full weeks without facing a demotion. If you stay inactive after that two-week grace period, you will only drop by one rank per week.

Finally, the game is introducing an improved notification system. You will now get clearer demotion alerts and much better updates about your current standing on the leaderboard.

This Clash of Clans Legend League rework is exactly what top-tier players have been asking for. Shifting the lower end of Legend to weekly tournaments while keeping the top tier highly competitive should make the endgame much more engaging.

BGMI Redeem Codes Today: Unlock Iconic M416 Glacier and More Rewards

KRAFTON India announced the launch of a landmark new phase of BGMI redeem code drops and for the first time in the game’s history, players have a chance to unlock the legendary M416 Glacier, one of the most coveted weapon skins in the BGMI universe, through a BGMI redeem code. What was once attainable only through in-game purchases or limited events can now be won by players simply by being among the first to redeem an exclusive Glacier Spin Token code. This is a first of its kind for BGMI.

Building on strong player participation in previous drops, today marks Day 1 of a structured rollout running through July 9, 2026 – introducing a more targeted reward mix combining high-demand cosmetics with limited-access items that tap into community favourites. 54 redeem codes are live today – comprising 5 exclusive M416 Glacier Spin Token codes and 49 general reward codes.

“The M416 Glacier has always been BGMI’s most aspirational item – the one every player wants, and few have ever held. Giving our community a genuine shot at winning it through a redeem code is something we’ve never done before, and it reflects how deeply we listen to what players want. This phase of redeem codes is our most ambitious yet – not just in scale, but in what it represents: our commitment to making legendary in-game experiences accessible to every player in India, not just those who can spend. We want every BGMI player to feel that today could be the day they finally get the Glacier,” said Srinjoy Das, Director of Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India.

The M416 Glacier is not just a skin – it is a symbol. Since BGMI’s launch, it has consistently ranked as the most aspirational weapon upgrade in the game, a marker of prestige that millions of players have wanted but few have held.

The new phase of redeem codes are designed to build a consistent reason for players to return, check channels, and stay engaged with BGMI throughout the season. Each code drop is curated, not generic: rewards have been selected to reflect community favourites, rarity-driven demand, and the in-game moments that matter most to BGMI’s 260 million-strong player base.

Redeem codes are valid until July 9, 2026, and will be released daily on BGMI’s official channels.

Vitality Defeats G2 to Reach IEM Rio Playoffs

Vitality survives HuNter-less G2 to edge out a close win to qualify for the playoffs of IEM Rio. Winning their own map pick, G2’s failure to push the match over the line in back-to-back maps led to Vitality securing an important win with a 2-1 scoreline.

VETO

  • G2 removed Nuke
  • Vitality removed Ancient
  • G2 picked Mirage
  • Vitality picked Inferno
  • G2 removed Anubis
  • Vitality removed Overpass
  • Dust2 was left over

Map 1: Mirage; Pick: G2; Winner: G2

3-0 start for G2 gave them the start they needed before Vitality levelled the scoreline. With G2 looking well prepared and winning most of their individual duels, G2 edged out a narrow lead before switching sides. Bringing their A game on the defense, G2 remained flawless, stunning the Vitality offense, which failed to penetrate it for 6 rounds in a row, leading to an effortless close with a 13-5 scoreline. Young gun MATYS stood out with 19 kills and impeccable impact, especially on the defense, which earned G2 an early lead in the series.

Map 2: Inferno; Pick: Vitality; Winner: Vitality

G2 had a solid start on the first map, but got countered when Vitality walked away with 6 rounds on their offense, as G2 struggled to edge out a lead on the favoured side of Inferno. Despite hitting a series point on their offense, G2 managed to push the game to overtime. With regulation failing to find a winner, Vitality cruised past G2, losing only a single round to push the game to the final map of the series with a 16-13 win. The man himself ZyWoo stood out as the best player with 28 kills to his name to give Vitality some hope.

Map 3: Dust2 ; Pick: Decider; Winner: Vitality

Vitality started the map with a pistol round win, G2 managed to close in on the defense, leading to a levelled scoreline before switching sides. As Vitality struggled to move, G2 on the offense managed to outclass them early in the second half, securing 11 rounds before Vitality started racking up rounds. Forcing G2’s hand into targeting the B site in the final rounds of the game, Vitality locked the game down, and from the edge of defeat, they turned the game around to avoid overtime, securing a 13-11 win.

Playing without an IGL, G2 Esports managed to push Vitality to their edge, and had it been any other team, one would have assumed G2 would have come out on top with relative ease. Only time can tell how far this team will go with a stand-in, but the valiant effort today was enough to raise eyebrows.

NVIDIA Geforce Now to Be Launched India Day After Tomorrow

NVIDIA is launching GeForce Now in India on April 16, 2026. The cloud gaming service will go live in public beta, nearly 15 months after NVIDIA first announced its India plans in January 2025.

The launch had been expected sometime in 2025, but it got pushed multiple times. NVIDIA eventually confirmed a Q1 2026 window before settling on April 16 as the official date.

The service will not launch as a finished product. It goes live in beta, and NVIDIA will collect feedback from users after each gaming session. Those who signed up on the GeForce Now India microsite will get access first, through invite waves on a first-come, first-served basis. Each invite comes with a one-week window to join.

If you registered for the waitlist at any point over the past year, expect an email from NVIDIA.

Supported Devices at Launch

GeForce Now India will work on a wide range of hardware from day one. Here is the full list:

  • PCs and Laptops: Windows 10 and above, macOS 10.11 and above, Linux, Windows ARM, and Chromebooks

  • Browsers: Chrome, Edge, and Safari
  • Handheld Gaming Devices: Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw, Razer Edge, and Logitech G Cloud
  • VR Headsets: Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro (in 2D mode)

Servers and Performance

NVIDIA is running its own servers for India, located in Mumbai. The company says this setup should give users access to the full bandwidth of their network connection, with reduced packet loss and lower ping.

The Ultimate tier runs on NVIDIA Blackwell RTX 5080 SuperPODS. It supports streaming at 360Hz at 1080p and 240Hz at 1440p, along with full ray tracing and DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation. The game library on GeForce Now has over 4,500 titles.

Subscription Tiers

GeForce Now India will have the same tier structure as the service in the US: Free, Performance, Ultimate, and Day Passes. Exact pricing for India has not been revealed yet. NVIDIA has noted that pricing will need to be competitive, particularly against Xbox Cloud Gaming, which has been available in India since November 2025.

Valorant Kuronami 2.0 Bundle Leaked: Skins, Release Date, Price, and More

Riot Games is reportedly working on a Kuronami 2.0 bundle for Valorant, and its official release might just be on the horizon, recent leaks suggest.

As per the latest leaks from prominent Valorant dataminers, Riot is on the brink of releasing the Kuronami 2.0 bundle in Valorant. While it’s not arriving in today’s Valorant patch 12.07, the sequel to the fan-favorite skin collection might be hitting the game’s store with the upcoming Season 2026 Act 3 update.

In this article, we’ll go through everything you need to know about the Kuronami 2.0 skin bundle in Valorant, including all its skins, expected release date, price, and more.

Valorant Kuronami 2.0 Bundle Skins

If the leaks are anything to go by, the Valorant Kuronami 2.0 bundle will include the following skins as part of the bundle:

  • Kuronami Operator
  • Kuronami Phantom
  • Kuronami Guardian
  • Kuronami Ghost
  • Melee (Naru-Kami)

Similar to its first iteration, the Kuronami 2.0 bundle is expected to feature multiple upgrades and variants.

Valorant Kuronami 2.0 Bundle Release Date

As mentioned earlier, the leaks claim that the Kuronami 2.0 bundle will go live alongside the Valorant patch 12.08.

Fans can expect to be able to grab the new bundle on April 29, 2026.

Valorant Kuronami 2.0 Bundle Price

The exact price of the Kuronami 2.0 bundle in Valorant has not been revealed at the time of writing.

However, based on the price of the original Kuronami bundle, it’s safe to expect that the Kuronami 2.0 collection will have a similar price tag.

This means the individual skins will likely have a price tag of around 2,350 VP, while the melee is expected to be priced at roughly 5,350 VP. Fans looking to purchase the entire bundle should expect to spend around 9,500 VP for all its contents.

Valorant Partners With Discord, Revamps Settings Screen, and More in Patch 12.07

Valorant has officially confirmed a partnership with Discord for its upcoming 12.07 patch, and it’s set to bring a series of exciting features that Discord users will be able to enjoy once the update goes live.

Alongside the Discord integration, the Valorant 12.07 update will greet players with a revamped settings page aimed at improving functionality and overall visual clarity. Riot is also rolling out a variety of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements to enhance the overall player experience.

Unfortunately, the Valorant 12.07 update doesn’t introduce any changes to the actual gameplay, which means the current meta remains untouched and at least two more weeks of Neon pickers wreaking havoc in your lobbies until Patch 12.08 arrives on April 29.

Without further ado, let’s check out all the changes that the Valorant 12.07 patch will bring with it to the competitive shooter.

Valorant 12.07 Patch Notes Revealed

The partnership with Discord is easily the biggest highlight of the Valorant 12.07 update. Discord users will now be able to link their IDs with their Valorant accounts to unlock new social features.

Arc Raiders Releases Update 1.24.0 Patch Notes

Arc Raiders patch 1.24.0 went live on April 14, 2026, across all platforms. The update is a smaller one from Embark Studios, focused mostly on bug fixes. But one of those bugs was a real problem, so let’s get into it.

The most reported issue heading into this patch was a visual bug with the Vanguard Set. When players equipped the cosmetic, it caused model stretching that was visible to other players in-game. Embark has now fixed it.

It was a cosmetic issue rather than a gameplay-breaking one, but it made the Vanguard Set practically unusable in public. That’s now resolved.

The update addresses several issues that could cause the game to crash. The patch notes don’t go into specific details on what triggered those crashes, but the fix applies to multiple problems at once.

If you’ve been hitting random crashes lately, this Arc Raiders patch should help. Let’s check out the full patch notes.

Arc Raiders Update 1.24.0 Patch Notes

Here are the official patch notes of the latest Arc Raiders update:

  • Addressed several issues that could cause crashes.
  • Fixed an issue where the Vanguard Set caused model stretching for other players.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players and ARC to sound quieter than intended when there’s no line of sight on Stella Montis.
  • Fixed an issue causing blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
  • Fixed an edge case where ziplines could be placed on carriables located on an edge of a ledge, and the player was below the ledge.
  • Fixed an issue where hold-to-use items (such as bandages) could activate automatically if a quick slot swap was interrupted by pressing the fire key.
  • Players who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but couldn’t complete it in time, please check your inbox in-game in the next few days. Also, a reminder that the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update.

Former Epic Games Employees Say Users Just Went Back to Steam

Epic Games Store has been giving away free games every week since it launched in 2018. The idea was simple: bring players to the store, let them grab a free title, and hope they browse and buy something while they are there. It did not work out that way.

Two former Epic employees with knowledge of store operations told Bloomberg that users would frequently log onto the store for free game promotions before bouncing back to Steam. The free games brought traffic. They just did not bring paying customers.

What Former Employees Said

Epic Games Store vice president and general manager Steve Allison said the storefront is only “marginally profitable.” The former employees told Bloomberg the free games program was being taken advantage of and hurting the company’s bottom line.

PC players spent $1.16 billion on the store in 2025, but $400 million of that came from third-party games. The profit margins on those sales are thin. Epic takes only 12% from third-party game sales, compared to Steam’s 30%. That was supposed to attract developers. Instead, Allison told Polygon the low profit margin on third-party games, combined with fees paid to developers for the weekly free game program, left the store only marginally profitable.

Why the Store Struggled to Compete

The Epic Games Store launched in 2018 as a rival to Steam. Tim Sweeney openly criticized Steam’s 30% commission, positioning Epic as a better option for developers and publishers. According to reports, that strategy did not work as expected.

The store also launched without the features users expected. A shopping cart and user reviews were unavailable when the store launched, drawing criticism from gamers.

One of Epic’s biggest miscalculations may have been assuming Steam leads the PC gaming market only because of its large number of developers, discounts, or offers. For many users, Steam is also a community platform, which is one of the main reasons it holds such a strong position in the market.

Other initiatives, including Epic’s mobile store and tools for users to create their own games, also fell short of internal expectations, according to eight current and former employees who spoke with Bloomberg. Epic regularly released products before employees felt they would resonate with consumers.

Falcons Outshines 3DMAX in IEM Rio 2026

With rumours floating of a roster change, the Falcons have secured a stunning win, beating 3DMAX with a 2-0 scoreline in a match that could have easily gone the other way. From a poor start to a solid close, the Falcons have started their IEM Rio Campaign with a bang.

VETO

  • 3DMAX removed Mirage
  • Falcons removed Overpass
  • 3DMAX picked Inferno
  • Falcons picked Ancient
  • 3DMAX removed Anubis
  • Falcons removed Dust2
  • Nuke was left over

Map 1: Inferno; Pick: 3DMAX; Winner: Falcons

Winning the pistol on the defense, the Falcons got steamrolled by 3DMAX as the French side hit the board by converting their force buy. A defense in shambles, saw 3DMAX secure 9 rounds in a row before the final 3 rounds went to the Falcons, giving them a leg to stand on to kick off the second half. What many considered to be a game almost over, the Falcons managed to cut the scoreline close. As they started with a solid momentum on the offense, the Falcons not only managed to level the scoreline, but they also completed the stunning comeback by losing not more than a single round. From losing with a 9-3 scoreline, the Falcons overturned the game with a 13-10 scoreline as Kyosuke spearheaded the offense with 19 kills to his name.

Map 2: Ancient; Pick: Falcons; Winner: Falcons

5-0 start for Falcons put them on the path to victory, following a stunning comeback in Map 1. As 3DMAX secured their first and only map in the defense, the Falcons wiped the floor with their defense, allowing the Falcons to close the half. Without letting the game go out of hand, the Falcons made quick work of them on their defense to win the map with a 13-1 scoreline.

3DMAX were solid and only lost to the stunning individual brilliance of Falcons, and as they get off to a poor start, they are known to build slowly into events. If they manage to overcome this loss, teams should look out for them.
