How to Get Holtzman Actuators in Dune Awakening?

0

Holtzman Actuators are an essential resource for building vehicles and anti-gravity systems in Dune Awakening. As you move into the mid to late game, their demand spikes exponentially. To ensure that your construction of advanced equipment isn’t bottlenecked by a lack of supply, it’s a good idea to create a solid supply early.

Below, we’ll show you the best ways to farm Holtzman Actuators and why some are significantly better than the rest.

How to Get Holtzman Actuators in Dune Awakening?

Holtzman Actuators serve as a vital component in crafting key technologies; everything from hover vehicles to sophisticated anti-gravity rigs relies on them. Without consistent access to these parts, advancing your tech tree, especially toward high-end blueprints, becomes an uphill battle. Begin collecting them early so you’re prepared when the crafting demand peaks.

Here are the three primary methods, ranked by efficiency:

  • Scavenge Loot Containers (Unreliable)
    • You may sometimes find Holtzman Actuators in chests that are located within:
      • Crash site locations
      • CHOAM facilities
      • Scavenger camps
      • Testing stations
      • Enemy bases
    • While the exploration of these locations provides other useful loot, the actuators have a low drop rate. Therefore, this method is best as an addition, not as the major source.
  • Harvest Salvaged Ornithopters (Recommended)
    • The best method to farm Holtzman Actuators is by breaking down crashed ornithopters. They are strewn all over the map and can be dismantled with your Cutteray. A majority of them yield at least one or two actuators with other stuff.
    • A prime location for this technique is Hagga Rift, which is a deep canyon in Hagga Basin filled with abandoned ornithopter wreckage. Methodically searching the depths and ravines of the canyon provides the most reliable results. One clue: fly your ornithopter to scout ridgelines for clusters of wrecks, then land and strip everything before proceeding deeper.
  • Recycle Excess Vehicle Parts
    • When you don’t need additional vehicle modules, take them to a Recycler. Some high-level vehicle components will be converted into Holtzman Actuators. This is not as fast as wreck scavenging, but it’s a great way of handling excess stock.

How to Get Ornithopter in Dune Awakening Easily?

    0

The Ornithopter is not only a vehicle, it’s a game-saver in Dune Awakening. Speedy, nimble, and legendary, constructing it can go a long way towards how you survive, discover, and conquer the unforgiving Arrakis. If you’re looking to build one without getting bogged down in grinding endlessly, this is a step-by-step guide that will see you through quickly.

How to Get an Ornithopter in Dune Awakening Easily?

Crafting an Ornithopter in Dune Awakening is a long process that demands massive resources, time, and specialized workstations. To pull this off, you’ll need around 70,000 ml of water, 241 Aluminum Ingots, 82 Cobalt Paste, 22 Particle Capacitors, 14 Diamondine Dust, 8 Industrial Pumps, 8 Complex Machinery, 8 Carbide Scraps, and about 330 Intel Points in total, including the 30 points specifically required to research the Ornithopter.

You will also need to have access to facilities such as a medium ore refinery and a vehicle fabricator, as well as equipment such as a Buggy (ideally MK4) and a Cutteray MK3 or better. Both sets of resources and tools contribute to the acceleration of the entire crafting process.

Your base position can either make or break your productivity. Ideally, place your base close to the Eastern Shield Wall, Hagga Rift, or Testing Stations. These regions are dense with the essential materials you’ll be harvesting, and it will significantly reduce your travel time to place your base there. Additionally, it puts you close to high-density farming zones and easy fast-travel points.

Water is the largest bottleneck in creating the Ornithopter. Blood farming is the fastest method to acquire the needed amount. Outfit yourself with Blood Extractor MK2, Medium Blood Sacks, and several Medium Blood Purifiers to achieve peak efficiency. Repeat farm loops in areas dense with enemies, such as Vermillius Gap or Hagga Rift, to harvest both blood and valuable resources at the same time.

If possible, place Windtraps, which can passively harvest water over time, or work towards unlocking the Dew Reaper MK4 for mass-scale water harvesting. While procuring the Dew Reaper will take more Intel Points, and is a mid-to-late game upgrade.

How to Get an Ornithopter in Dune Awakening

Make sure you have enough Water Cisterns, at least 15 to 20, because all that cleaned blood has to be put somewhere.

Aluminum is farmed most efficiently in the Eastern Shield Wall territory, especially near Ironwatch Point. With a well-prepared Buggy and a Cutteray MK4, one can anticipate collecting about 2,000 Aluminum Ore per farming loop. Refine the ore using the Medium Ore Refinery to yield Aluminum Ingots.

Cobalt Paste requires Erythrite Crystals, which you’ll find in the mineral-rich areas of Hagga Rift. You’ll need to process these crystals in a Chemical Refinery to produce the paste efficiently.

For other essential components like Particle Capacitors, Industrial Pumps, Complex Machinery, and Diamondine Dust, your best bet is to raid Testing Stations, Strongholds, and CHOAM Facilities. Begin at the Eastern Vermillius Gap, sweep through Testing Stations and Ironworks, and then proceed towards Mysa Tarill Stronghold for Diamondine Dust and Carbide Scraps. Don’t forget to visit the Sentinel Stronghold in the Eastern Shield Wall to gather Industrial Pumps before concluding your loop in Hagga Rift’s Testing Stations.

By charting this route strategically, you can farm nearly all high-end materials on a single loop.

How to Craft an Ornithopter in Dune Awakening?

Resource grinding isn’t for everyone, and if you’d rather skip most of it, you can buy Ornithopter parts from faction dealers. First, though, you’ll have to hit Reputation Level 4 with your favored faction, something that takes steady contract completion. Even after you’ve unlocked the parts, you’ll have to save up approximately 125,000 Solari to buy them all.

This is quick but expensive, and still requires effort to increase faction standing.

After getting all of the components that you need, investigate the Ornithopter blueprint in your Intel Points. If you bought the components from a vendor, you can bypass crafting the individual parts.

Use the Vehicle Fabricator to construct the parts you need if you haven’t purchased them. Then, armed with a Welding Torch, assemble the Ornithopter in an open area—your base rooftop is great.

Once completed, fuel the Ornithopter and take to the air. If you still have any queries regarding it, let us know in the comments below.

Virtus.pro Beats MOUZ on BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 3 Day 1

Virtus.pro is the second team of the day to cause an upset by beating one of the tournament favourites, MOUZ, to win their opening game of the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 3.

    VETO

    • Virtus.pro removed Nuke
    • Virtus.pro removed Ancient
    • MOUZ removed Anubis
    • MOUZ removed Dust2
    • MOUZ removed Inferno
    • Virtus.pro removed Train
    • Mirage was left over

Map: Mirage; Winner: Virtus.pro; Score: 13-11

Going 3-0 up, VP found themselves in a strong position to open up the game against MOUZ, before they found themselves trading rounds, but they did manage to take away the big chunk of rounds, getting 8 in their favour before switching sides. VP did manage to extend their lead by two more rounds before dropping the ball, leading to MOUZ winning a streak of rounds to level the massive lead. Right when MOUZ were on the verge of hitting map point, VP managed to win the final 3 rounds of the map to edge out a close win right from the clutches of defeat. VP won the game with a hard-fought 13-11 scoreline, thanks to FL4MUS, with 20 kills, who stood out as the best player.

Having lost the opening game puts a lot of pressure on the young MOUZ team, who are infamous for choking, but with one more game on the opening day, it would be hard to imagine them walking away from the first day with a 0-2 record.

Legacy Shocks Vitality in Blast.tv Austin Major Stage 3

In a shocking opening-day result, Legacy took down the best team in the world, Team Vitality, with an oddly one-sided scoreline, causing arguably one of the biggest upsets of the Major. Despite being the favorites to win the Major, the Brazilian side successfully ended a 30-match win streak of Vitality to start their Major campaign with a banger.

    VETO

    • Legacy removed Train
    • Legacy removed Nuke
    • Vitality removed Ancient
    • Vitality removed Mirage
    • Vitality removed Anubis
    • Legacy removed Dust2
    • Inferno was left over

Map: Inferno; Winner: Legacy; Score: 13:9

Starting the map with a pistol round win, Vitality lost the momentum as Legacy converted the following round with a few pistols. Winning the second round, Legacy went on a tear, winning 8 rounds before Vitality secured two more to end the half with a 9-3 scoreline. While Vitality did manage to get a plant to open up in the second half, Legacy managed a successful retake to keep up the momentum. Winning all of the remaining rounds, Legacy demolished the best team in the world with a 13-9 dominant scoreline.

Suffice it to say that this result puts some pressure on everyone’s Pick’Ems as Vitality was a team touted to go 3-0 in the Major. It goes without saying that this might be a blip, and the next B01 of the day might see them get back to winning ways, but as for Legacy, they have secured the most impressive upset of the Major despite no one counting on them to overperform to this degree.

Valve Cancels MRQs for Budapest Major 2025

Valve has confirmed that they’re cancelling all Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQs) for the Starladder Budapest Major 2025.

The surprise announcement from the Counter-Strike 2 devs came less than a week after the dates for the MRQs were first revealed, catching the entire CS2 community off guard.

Teams will now have to rely on their Valve Regional Standings (VRS) instead, which will now be the only metric used to determine the 32 direct invites for the upcoming Budapest Major.

“One of the goals of the VRS is to standardize community events so that they can be integrated with the Majors,” Valve said in a statement. “At this point, we believe that a separate qualification process for the Major is both unnecessary and disruptive. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to cancel the Fall 2025 MRQs. Instead, the 32 teams participating in the Budapest Major will be invited directly from the VRS.”

The 32 qualifying teams will receive direct invites to the Budapest Major based on the VRS on October 8, 2025.

StarLadder, the tournament organizer behind the Budapest Major, has stated that they will reveal further details after the conclusion of the Austin Major on June 22nd.

Abyss To Return To Valorant’s Competitive Map Pool With S25A4 Update

Abyss is finally making its return to Valorant!

The fan-favorite map, which was removed from the competitive pool of Valorant in Patch 10.04, will be returning to the ranked queues with the upcoming Season 25 Act 4 update.

After being initially added to the FPS title in June 2024, Abyss stayed in the competitive map rotation for roughly six months before being removed alongside Bind. While players were still able to enjoy the map in other game modes like Swiftplay and Unrated, many expressed frustration at the map being removed from the competitive queues in such a short span of time.

Abyss Returning To Valorant Competitive Map Rotation

Now, after another six months since its removal, leaks from prominent Valorant dataminers suggest that Abyss is set to return to the competitive map pool with the upcoming Season 25 Act 4 update.

Note that Riot Games has yet to officially confirm the return of Abyss to Valorant’s competitive mode, so take this leak with a grain of salt.

For the same reason, it’s still unclear which existing map Abyss might replace in the current competitive rotation.

Below, we have listed the current competitive map pool of Valorant before the Season 25 Act 4 changes:

    • Ascent
    • Haven
    • Icebox
    • Lotus
    • Pearl
    • Split
    • Sunset

Will Valorant Mobile Get Banned in India?

Valorant Mobile has officially entered its closed beta phase, with servers going live on June 12, 2025, at 6:30 AM IST. Currently, the beta testing is exclusively available in China, where players can access the game through Chinese app stores after successful registration and selection. The closed beta has already garnered significant attention, with the game accumulating over 20 million pre-registrations on the Chinese app store. According to app store listings, the expected full release date for China is November 25, 2025, though this remains unconfirmed by developers.

Valorant Mobile’s Anticipation in India and Concerns

The Indian gaming community has expressed tremendous excitement for Valorant Mobile’s potential arrival. Popular content creators have indicated interest in competitive participation should the game launch in India. The enthusiasm stems from Valorant PC’s massive success in the country, where it has become one of the most popular tactical shooters.

Indian Valorant streamers like SkRossi, HydraFlick, Binks69,  HydraFlick, and more have built substantial followings. The existing infrastructure of Valorant (PC version) demonstrates the country’s readiness for mobile esports expansion.

    Valorant Mobile’s Chinese Connection Concern

However, significant concerns cloud Valorant Mobile’s future in India due to its development partnership. Riot Games has collaborated with LightSpeed Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, to develop the mobile version. This partnership raises red flags given India’s history with Chinese-linked gaming applications.

LightSpeed Studios, formerly known as LightSpeed & Quantum Studio, is the same developer behind PUBG Mobile. The Indian government banned PUBG Mobile in September 2020 along with 117 other Chinese-linked applications, citing national security concerns and data privacy issues. The ban specifically targeted games with Tencent connections due to concerns about data transmission to servers outside India.

The concerns aren’t unfounded, as evidenced by League of Legends: Wild Rift’s situation in India. Despite being developed by Riot Games, Wild Rift has never received an official Indian launch, largely attributed to its Tencent backing. While other Riot games like Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra are available in India, the MOBA title remains absent from Indian app stores.

Speculations suggest that Riot has been cautious about releasing Wild Rift in India precisely because of potential government concerns regarding Tencent’s involvement. This precedent suggests that Valorant Mobile may face similar regulatory scrutiny upon its potential Indian launch.

Given India’s track record of banning Chinese-linked games and the ongoing geopolitical tensions, Valorant Mobile’s future in India remains highly uncertain. While the Indian gaming community eagerly awaits the title, the game’s association with Tencent through LightSpeed Studios presents a significant regulatory hurdle that could prevent its official launch in one of the world’s largest mobile gaming markets.

How to Obtain Iron Ore in Dune Awakening?

    0

Iron is a must-have in Dune Awakening; you’ll use it nearly all the time, especially for creating iron ingots that form the basis of tools, structures, and weaponry. Extracting iron is one of the earliest large-scale activities you’ll be doing, and it helps to know the resource flow early on to have an essential advantage.

Here’s a refined guide to make iron-hunting easier.

How to Obtain Iron Ore in Dune Awakening?

Your path to iron starts in the Wester Vermillius Gap, directly north of Hagga Basin South, your starting location. This area is teeming with coarse rock structures heavy in iron ore deposits. These spawn points show up as little glinting silver veins in rocky outcroppings on most players’ maps.

Utilize a cliff-top vantage point to your benefit. Once you’re at a better height, use a Survey Probe to scan on an area-wide scale. It will spot local iron and other valuable elements within a specific distance, relieved from having to scan each boulder manually.

To mine iron ore, you will only need the Cutteray Mk1 in the beginning, which you can unlock early during the tutorial. Mine all visible silver-grey iron veins benevolently demarcated by faintly glowing borders.

As you proceed through the tech tree, advanced models of Cutteray will increase your rate of mining as well as yield, but the Mk1 is adequate for initial exploration and building.

If you still have any queries regarding it, let us know in the comments below.
