Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Will Launch Globally on November 14

Activision officially announced the worldwide release date and PC system specifications for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, putting an end to weeks-long rumors about an early release. The most anticipated tactical shooter will launch worldwide on Friday, November 14, 2025, on all platforms with no early access to any edition of the game.

The release strategy will vary depending on the platform and region. On Steam and Battle.net, players will unlock the game at midnight EST on November 14, but international unlock times will start as early as 5 am GMT for European players and 4 pm AEST for Australian audiences. Then there are the console players via Xbox and PlayStation, who will see staggered availability starting between 3 am-10 pm PT on November 13, depending on their timezone, allowing some regions to jump in earlier than their PC counterparts.

Pre-loading across all platforms begins November 10 at 9 am PT, giving eager players plenty of time to prepare for launch day. This is the first Call of Duty game to go live on Xbox Game Pass out of the box, and subscribers to Ultimate and PC Game Pass alike will get instant access.

For PC performance, Activision has elaborated on tiered specifications to suit different gaming configurations. Minimum requirements include a Windows 10 64-bit OS, AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600, 8GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970/1060, with 116GB SSD storage. The recommended tier for 60FPS high-setting gameplay would require Windows 11, a Ryzen 5 1600X or i7-6700K, 12GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 or RX 6600XT.

Activision recommends competitive and 4K enthusiasts use a Ryzen 5 5600X or an i7-10700K, complemented by RTX 4080/5070 or RX 9070XT graphics cards with 16GB RAM. All configurations require compatibility with DirectX 12, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and Ricochet anti-cheat integration.

BGMI Teams Up with Talented for Meme-Driven ‘BGMI Drops’ Campaign

0

BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) has launched a new satirical campaign called BGMI Drops, created in collaboration with creative agency Talented. The campaign twists the concept of surrogate advertising, turning it into a pop culture spoof tailored for meme-savvy, internet-native audiences.

Instead of masking intent like traditional surrogate ads, BGMI Drops openly embraces it. Popular in-game items like helmets, energy drinks, and pans are reimagined as parody FMCG brands. Each product has its own commercial, directed by Akimbo duo Mandakini Menon and Bopanna MG and produced by Potli Baba Mediahouse. The films mix nostalgia from old Indian ads with cultural satire and absurd humour.

The campaign extends to a fake online storefront – trybgmi.com – where users can “shop” spoof products, find Easter eggs, and explore hidden references. The idea is to make the audience part of the joke rather than just viewers.

Srinjoy Das, Associate Director of Marketing & Product at KRAFTON India, said the campaign speaks in the true language of BGMI players – meme-driven, referential, and designed for community participation. Talented’s creative team added that instead of hiding intent, the campaign proudly showcases it, inviting fans to decode the subtext.

Currently, films for BGMI Energy Drink, BGMI Helmet, and BGMI OnlyPans are live on social media.

GodLike Esports Announces Exit From CODM Esports After Failing to Secure Player Visas for WC 2025

Godlike Esports, 2023 Call of Duty Mobile World Championship runner-up, announces exit from the COD Mobile Esports. Notably, three out of five players from the roster failed to secure visas for Poland for the World Championship 2025. The co-owner of the organisation, Amar Chandgude, has announced a complete boycott of Call of Duty: Mobile, saying that despite years of effort and investment in the competitive scene, the team received little to no support.

GodLike Esports Announces Exit From Call of Duty Mobile Esports

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Amar Chandgude, co-owner of GodLike Esports, announced the team’s exit from Call of Duty: Mobile Esports. The decision came after three of the team’s players failed to secure visas for the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025, scheduled to take place from November 7 to 9 in Katowice, Poland.

Amar said, “Thank you to the entire CODM community on behalf of GodLike Esports. There will be no further involvement of GodLike Esports in CODM from now on.”

He explained that GodLike Esports decided to exit the CODM esports scene because, despite significant investment and continuous efforts to grow the community, the team received no support from the game’s publisher. The inability to participate in the CODM World Championship 2025 due to visa issues was the final factor behind this decision.

On the YouTube live stream of GodL Learn, Amar criticizes the organisers and publisher for not providing enough support for the indian teams’ travel and visa processes. He said, “Most of them just give an invitation letter, guys. This is our invitation letter. You show it at the embassy that we have invited you. That’s it. The visa expense will be borne by the org. In India, no one is stationed, they don’t know, they don’t exist. Meaning, in India, neither their office nor any management person is present. We spent over ₹6 lakh ($7,200+) minimum for the US visa process.”

“I was talking to Viper. He said, that Amar Bhai, I can’t even show my face at home right now. Because he is sitting here after shutting down college, leaving his family, and doing everything else. When someone works day and night for your game, as a publisher, you should be ensuring that their process is smooth,” Amar added.

Amar on combined Team India with a mix of Godlike Esports and S8UL players for the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025

Two players from Godlike Esports and three players from S8UL have their visas for Poland. According to Amar, the ESL has said to make a combined team with the available players and send them to Poland as Team India.

He said, “ESL has said that if it’s possible for both teams [GodLike and Soul] to combine into one team, then it is possible. So let’s see if that happens. Because I don’t want any player’s time to be wasted. Next year, if Activision does not treat India properly, we are not playing. If the game’s publisher does not support you, then you shouldn’t play that game, that’s my clear belief.”

Notably, Godlike Esports is one of the most dominating teams in the CODM esports. The team is the runner-up of the 2023 CODM World Championship. The team has won titles such as the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025 – India, Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 – India, Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 – India, CODM World Championship 2022 – India Finals, and the Call of Duty: Mobile India Challenge – Season 1.

BREAKING: StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Finally Goes Best-of-Five

Counter-Strike Major Championships have entered a new era. StarLadder has announced that the Budapest Major 2025 Grand Final will be contested as a best-of-five series, the first time in all of CS history that a Major’s championship match will go beyond three maps. The news, which came on November 4, arrived just days after Valve hinted at this very change.

For twelve years and twenty-four Major Championships stretching back to CS:GO, the Grand Final has remained locked in best-of-three, a format increasingly seen as outdated in the modern competitive landscape. The shift comes as a direct response to overwhelming community sentiment demanding more decisive, dramatic finals that genuinely test a team’s championship mettle.

Timing couldn’t be better. Recent tournaments showcased exactly why the change matters. The jaw-dropping reverse-sweep by FURIA against NAVI at the Thunderpick World Championship, a comeback that would have been mathematically impossible under the old format, showcased the story potential of best-of-five series. Similarly, Aurora’s thrilling five-map win over Legacy in the PGL Masters Bucharest sent ripples across the world, building up a groundswell of popular support for evolution in the format at the Major level.

Valve’s reluctance to change the Major format had increasingly felt out of step with the wider esports landscape, with tournament organizers such as BLAST, ESL, and PGL having already standardized best-of-five Grand Finals across their respective CS2 circuits with considerable success and more competitive variety accordingly. The Budapest Major’s adoption now brings Valve’s most prestigious tournament into alignment with professional standards.

https://twitter.com/StarLadder_CS/status/1985702838346150218

The StarLadder Budapest Major runs from November 24 through December 14, with the Grand Final scheduled for December 14. Teams will be competing across seven maps: Ancient, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Train, and Overpass.
