StarCraft 2 Confirmed To Join Esports World Cup 2025

0

StarCraft 2 is all set to join the list of games in the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025, as confirmed in a recent announcement by the Esports World Cup Foundation.

The iconic real-time strategy (RTS) title from Blizzard will once again return to the Esports World Cup following its appearance last year and its earlier inclusion in the Gamers8 festival—the predecessor of EWC.

While tournament details for this year have yet to be revealed, last year’s StarCraft 2 event saw 16 top players battling it out for a share of a $1.05 million USD prize pool. Team Liquid’s Clément ‘Clem‘ Desplanches managed to take home the trophy, while BASILISK’s Joona ‘Serral‘ Sotala finished as the runner-up.

This year, the StarCraft II tournament at the Esports World Cup is scheduled to run from August 15 to 18.

For the uninitiated, the Esports World Cup is a premier global esports event that brings together the world’s top competitive titles under one roof. The tournament series features a wide array of games and boasts massive prize pools, making it one of the most anticipated fixtures on the competitive gaming calendar.

Esports World Cup 2025 will feature a total of 24 games, with the newest additions being Chess, Crossfire, and Valorant. The prestigious Esports World Cup 2025 is set to kick off on July 8, 2025, and will span approximately seven weeks before concluding on August 24, 2025.

G2 Opens Their PGL Bucharest Campaign With a 2-0 Win Over Gamerlegion

G2 has secured a convincing victory over GamerLegion to open up their PGL Bucharest campaign. Despite the news of m0NESY’s departure surfacing, the team seems unaffected in terms of their performance. With this victory, G2 will need two more wins to make it to the playoffs.

VETO

  • GamerLegion removed Dust2
  • G2 removed Train
  • GamerLegion picked Mirage
  • G2 picked Inferno
  • G2 removed Anubis
  • GamerLegion removed Nuke
  • Ancient was left

Map 1: Mirage; Pick: GamerLegion; Winner: G2

GamerLegion had the toughest start to Mirage, going 6-0 as huNter led a solid defence for G2. With the supporting cast in sync, G2’s smooth start to Mirage was completely overturned as GL managed to win the final 6 rounds to close the half. Starting the second half with a leveled scoreline, G2’s offense did not let GamerLegion get going, losing no more than 2 rounds. G2 sailed past GL as their defence was systematically broken, and without being able to recover, G2 closed the map with a dominant scoreline of 13-8.

Map 2: Inferno; Pick: G2; Winner: G2

Starting on the offense, G2’s 5-1 start on the T side could not keep up the momentum as GL’s defence adapted to the game by the end of the half. Recovering from the deficit, G2 managed to edge out a narrow lead by the end of the half. Despite a tough fight, G2’s shaky defence somehow pushed the game to overtime. Winning all overtime rounds, G2 secured the win with a dominant end to the heavily one-sided overtime. With 24 kills to his name, huNter has once again been the key piece for G2 while the star players fell back into the supporting cast.

GamerLegion managed to push G2 in their map pick, showing that teams should be wary of them on their day. While this loss is a significant setback, the Swiss format is lenient enough to let GL have some headroom before they bomb out of the tournament.

All Dead Drop Locations in Schedule 1: Complete Guide for Gamers

0

Building a thriving underground empire in Schedule 1 hinges on knowing where to find the game’s elusive dead drops. These concealed stash points are your lifeline for securing supplies and managing payments, scattered cleverly across a sprawling map. Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned player, pinpointing these locations can elevate your strategy and keep you ahead of the competition.

What are Dead Drops?

Dead drops aren’t just random hideaways—they’re the backbone of your operation. Suppliers use these spots to deliver goods and collect cash, making them essential for scaling your influence. Each drop ties to specific vendors, and missing one could stall your progress. The map’s six distinct regions host these caches, often tucked behind buildings or nestled in overlooked corners, challenging players to explore every inch.

Top Dead Drop Hotspots to Know

One standout location sits behind Dan’s Hardware, a go-to for supplier Albert Hoover’s transactions. Another key spot lies along the canal near Town Hall, which is marked by landmarks like Hyland Auto and Taco Ticklers. These aren’t handed to you on a platter—most require sharp eyes, as they’re camouflaged to blend into the environment. Check your in-game map for highlighted drops when a delivery or payment is pending, but don’t rely on it alone; proactive scouting pays off.

Tips for Finding Hidden Stashes

Success in Schedule 1 demands more than luck. Start by memorizing the layout- focus on alleys, backlots, and waterfronts where drops often lurk. Suppliers vary their spots, so adaptability is key. If you’re struggling, watch for subtle visual cues like misplaced objects or faint outlines near structures. Pair this with a solid grasp of each region’s quirks, and you’ll turn dead drops into your advantage.

Level Up Your Gameplay

Mastering these locations isn’t just about survival—it’s about dominance. With every stash secured, you streamline your supply chain and outpace rivals. Schedule 1 rewards the resourceful, and this guide arms you with the knowledge to conquer its shadowy underworld. Dive in, explore, and claim your edge.

Is the Negan Skin in Fortnite Free? Price and Bundle Details Revealed

0

Fortnite’s knack for blending pop culture icons into its vibrant universe continues to captivate players worldwide. The latest addition, a skin inspired by Negan from The Walking Dead comics, has landed in the Item Shop, sparking curiosity among fans. Available from April 4 to April 11, 2025, this crossover character brings a gritty edge to the battlefield—but it comes with a catch: it’s not free.

Negan Skin: A Comic Book Legend Joins Fortnite

Drawn straight from Robert Kirkman’s iconic comic series, this cel-shaded Negan stands apart from his TV counterparts like Rick or Daryl. With his signature swagger and barbed-wire bat, Lucille, he’s a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts. The standalone skin costs 1,500 V-Bucks, roughly ₹699 if you’re buying the smallest V-Bucks pack. For those eyeing more, the full Negan Bundle at 2,000 V-Bucks offers extra flair without breaking the bank.

What’s in the Negan Bundle?

Why settle for just the skin when you can grab the whole package? Priced at 2,000 V-Bucks (around ₹1,999 for a 2,800 V-Bucks pack), the bundle includes:

  • Negan Outfit: The comic-style look at 1,500 V-Bucks alone.
  • Lucille Pickaxe: Swing in style for 800 V-Bucks.
  • Krakk! Wrap: Customize your weapons for 500 V-Bucks.

At just 500 V-Bucks more than the standalone skin, it’s a steal for fans wanting the complete Neg.Concurrent experience. No free unlocks here—V-Bucks are your ticket, though Fortnite Crew subscribers might save up their monthly stash to snag it.

Availability Window

Mark your calendars: Negan’s reign in the Item Shop runs until 8 PM ET on April 11, 2025. Miss it, and you’ll be left waiting for a potential rerun. This limited window adds urgency, especially for players who thrive on exclusive drops. Unlike some skins tied to quests or events, Negan demands a direct purchase, making it a premium addition to your locker.

Worth the V-Bucks?

For Walking Dead devotees and Fortnite fashionistas, Negan’s comic-inspired design and bundled goodies justify the cost. While not free, the value shines through in its detailed craftsmanship and crossover appeal. Whether you’re smashing opponents with Lucille or flexing in the lobby, this skin delivers a bold statement. Ready to invest? Head to the Item Shop before he vanishes.

GTA 6 Console Release Confirmed for 2025: PC and Nintendo Switch Still in Limbo

0

Few games carry the weight of anticipation like Grand Theft Auto 6, and Rockstar Games has finally dropped a major clue about its arrival. Slated for a 2025 debut, this open-world titan will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, promising a next-gen experience that’s already sparking excitement across the gaming community. Yet, while console players gear up for chaos in Vice City, the fate of PC and Nintendo Switch versions remains shrouded in mystery.

Console Players Take the Lead

Rockstar’s focus on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S isn’t surprising. These platforms boast the horsepower to handle GTA 6’s ambitious scope—think sprawling cities, cutting-edge graphics, and intricate NPC interactions. The developer’s track record suggests a polished launch tailored to these systems, ensuring players dive into a seamless criminal sandbox. With a fall 2025 target, the timing aligns perfectly with the holiday season, a prime window for blockbuster releases.

PC and Switch: Left in the Dark?

For PC gamers, the silence stings. Rockstar has a habit of prioritizing consoles before rolling out PC versions—GTA 5, for instance, landed on PC nearly two years after its console debut. Could history repeat itself? Speculation points to a 2026 PC release, leaving desktop enthusiasts waiting longer for modded mayhem. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch fans face even slimmer odds. The Switch 2, rumored for a 2025 unveiling, might not pack the punch needed for GTA 6’s demands, casting doubt on its inclusion.

What’s Driving the Hype?

The buzz isn’t just about platforms – it’s about what GTA 6 promises. A modern Vice City drenched in neon and grit, paired with Rockstar’s signature storytelling, has fans dreaming big. Leaks hint at dual protagonists and a map that could dwarf its predecessors. While details remain sparse, the game’s potential to redefine open-world gaming keeps it trending across forums and livestreams.

The Bigger Picture

Rockstar’s staggered release strategy isn’t new, but it’s a calculated move. By targeting consoles first, they maximize initial sales and polish the experience before tackling PC optimization. For now, PS5 and Xbox owners hold the keys to Vice City’s streets. PC and Switch players? They’ll need patience—or a console—to join the ride.
