KRAFTON India has officially raised the bar for Indian Esports with the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025 by announcing a record-smashing ₹3.2 crore prize pool, marking a 60% increase from last year.

As the tournament heads into its final leg, KRAFTON has also unveiled the Top 16 finalists, featuring the country’s most electrifying teams, all set to battle it out in a high-stakes 3-day Grand Finale in Kolkata at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan from April 25–27. This bold prize pool boost cements BGIS’s position as India’s premier Esports tournament, pushing the boundaries of competition, recognition, and reward for mobile gaming talent. These elite teams have emerged victorious through multiple competitive rounds, showcasing the highest level of skill, strategy, and stamina in BGMI Esports.

In a move that underscores its commitment to building a sustainable Esports ecosystem, KRAFTON has allocated an additional ₹1.2 crore (60% increase) to be shared among the Top 32 teams, not just the final 16. The International will get a new format this year, starting with the Road To The International and adopting a Swiss-style contest, followed by an eliminator before going to a Double-Elimination Bracket for the Main Event.

Below, we have included the detailed breakdown for The International 2025 format:

Swiss Bracket

The Swiss stage will see 16 elite Dota 2 teams competing across five rounds of best-of-threes. The first round games will have random seedings, while teams will be matched against each other based on their win-loss records in the following rounds.

The top three teams qualify directly for the main event, while the bottom three teams get eliminated

Teams placed 4th to 13th will have to battle it out in the elimination bracket.

Elimination Round

In the Elimination Round, Top-rated teams from the Swiss stage will be matched against their respective lowest-rated teams in best-of-threes. Winning teams will qualify for the main event while losing teams get eliminated.

Main Event

As usual, the TI 2025 main event will feature a double-elimination bracket, with the losing teams from the upper bracket dropping into the lower bracket. Teams get eliminated after a loss in the lower bracket.

The games in the main event of TI will be best-of-threes, with the exception of the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.

Dota 2 The International 2025 Schedule

Gods Reign have secured its first win in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Asia Regional Qualifier against The Huns.

In their quest for the spot at said Major in June, Gods Reign are three wins away from booking their spot in Stage 1 in Austin. Having lost in the opening game against Eruption, Gods Reign have made it out of the lower bracket after beating The Huns with a 2-1 scoreline.

What happened in the series?

Having gone down in the opening map, Gods Reign started their map pick of Ancient with a stellar offence, going 9-3 up. While the Huns threatened to make a comeback in the second half, Gods Reign managed to level the series by the skin of their teeth, winning the map with a 13-11 scoreline.

Starting on the T side yet again in Inferno, GR managed to edge out a narrow lead of two rounds before switching sides. Harsh ‘f1redup’ Jain’s stellar AWPing on the defence made the CT side a cakewalk for the team, thus winning the map with a dominant 13-6 scoreline.

Gods Reign will face Eruption in the Grand Finals unless they lose in the Consolidation Final against Chinggis Warrior. While Chinggis Warrior could be a relatively balanced matchup for GR, their earlier loss to Eruption suggests the Grand Final will be the true test, if they qualify.

Initially, this process seems doable, but as your farm gets bigger and your workload increases, you’ll soon realize how time-consuming farming is. Luckily, the game has a few smart tools and systems that greatly minimize the manual labor, enabling you to optimize your farming activities.

How to Automate Planting in Schedule 1?

After completing the prologue and getting into the main hub town, you will be exposed to the hardware store, a crucial checkpoint for progress during the early stages of the game. Positioned approximately in the upper-middle part of the map, you can employ Albert Hoover‘s stash marker to point you straight there.

As the genius behind your empire, your number one priority is always to make more, earn more. No matter if you’re cooking meth or diversifying into other commodities, production is profit. Initially, you’ll be mixing every batch by hand, a laborious and time-consuming process that caps your expansion. But once you’ve saved up enough to hire workers and buy the proper machinery, automation is key to expanding effectively.

Before you can begin automating your mixing operation, you’ll require some important pieces on hand, both equipment and staff. Ensure your operation comprises the following:

  • Management Clipboard
  • Mixing (Chemistry) Station
  • Oven
  • Storage Racks
  • Handler
  • Chemist

Luckily, most of these resources become accessible fairly early in the game, particularly once you’ve finished a few mainline missions. Once you’ve made sufficient funds, recruiting your crew and obtaining these implements is simple.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Setting Up an Automated Mixing System:

  • Define Roles for Your Workers
    • Begin by recruiting a Handler and a Chemist, the two most important roles needed for this task. Make sure they are paid and have assigned beds to prevent any disruption to their work.
  • Set up the Packaging Loop
    • With the Management Clipboard, place the Handler at a Packaging Station. Open the ‘Routes’ menu and make a delivery loop between a product storage rack (where your meth and empty bags are stored) and the packaging station.
    • Make the output destination of the packaging station an available rack close by so that your Handler does not waste time walking.
  • Create the Chemistry Station
    • Then assign your Chemist to a Chemistry Station to permit unsupervised mixing. If you’re producing meth, assign them to an Oven as well preferably sitting right next to the Chemistry Station for maximum efficiency.
  • After that:
    • Control the Chemistry Station through the Clipboard and designate the output to the Oven.
    • Control the Oven next and route its output to the same rack that your Handler picks up product for packaging.
  • Create Ingredient Delivery
    • Lastly, establish the ingredient supply. Place your Handler on a second storage rack filled with necessary materials: Pseudo, Acid, and Phosphorus. This will provide a constant supply of ingredients to your Chemist.

Ultron is reportedly the next playable character to join Marvel Rivals’ ever-expanding roster. He is expected to join the lineup alongside the highly anticipated Season 2.5 update.

Over the past few days, we’ve seen prominent dataminers dig up several new leaks involving Ultron, including his abilities, lore, and other details.

As the Marvel Rivals community eagerly anticipates the arrival of Ultron, now might be a good time to check out everything we know so far regarding how this new character will play and which role he will fit in.

Marvel Rivals Ultron Role

From what we’ve seen so far, it’s safe to assume that Ultron will join the Marvel Rivals roster in the Strategist role. He will be the eighth Strategist in the game alongside Invisible Woman, Luna Snow, Cloak & Dagger, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, Jeff the Land Shark, and Adam Warlock.

  • Imperative: Patch (E) – Summons a giant drone that follows an ally, constantly healing allies within its radius, with additional healing for the designated ally
  • Imperative: Firewall (RMB) – Summons drones that grant bonus health to nearby allies, centered on Ultron and the ally marked with Imperative: Patch
  • Ultimate: Rage of Ultron – Summons Ultron Drones to fire Encephalo-Rays, which can damage enemies or heal allies

Marvel Rivals Ultron Release Date

As mentioned earlier, Ultron will be available to play in Marvel Rivals with the game’s Season 2.5 update. For the uninitiated, the Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 update is expected to hit the live servers on May 30, 2025.

While the update will roll out simultaneously across all regions, the developers will temporarily take the servers offline for maintenance for a few hours during the deployment.

m0NESY’s departure from G2 has left a massive void they look to fill with Polish AWPer Olek “⁠hades⁠” Miskiewicz until the end of June.

With a lack of top AWPers in the market, G2 had no choice but to sign a loanee who would stick with the roster until the Austin Major. Having played with Snax in ENCE, hades has the seal of approval of his IGL. Starting with IEM Melbourne, hades will continue with this G2 side till the Austin Major.

With NiKo already gone, m0NESY’s departure has stripped this G2 side of serious firepower out of this G2 side and it is clear that as soon as the loan period is over, G2 will be looking for a top sniper to join them as they are arguably the most crucial piece of a CS team, without which competing for titles becomes significantly harder.

G2 is now:

  • Janusz “⁠Snax⁠” Pogorzelski
  • Nemanja “⁠huNter-⁠” Kovač
  • Mario “⁠malbsMd⁠” Samayoa

It goes without saying, hades cannot fill m0NESY’s shoes, and this roster move would require a massive tactical overhaul across the board. Hope of accolades continues to look bleak for this G2 side, but now that hades finally has a team that is capable of contending for trophies, we might get to see the best of him that ENCE was unable to bring out.

However, the timing of this particular change is noteworthy, as it aligns with the Bombay High Court’s hearing on 15th April regarding an ongoing lawsuit against Krafton.

The lawsuit stems from an FIR filed in September 2024, accusing Krafton India and four of its senior executives of unauthorized sharing and monetization of user data, allegedly at a rate of ₹2,000 per subscriber. The charges include criminal conspiracy, cheating, and violations under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Krafton has denied these allegations, emphasizing its commitment to data security and stating that it is awaiting the legal process’s outcome before making further comments .

Speculations Arises for BGMI Renaming

The simultaneous occurrence of the game’s renaming and the court hearing has led to various interpretations. It is speculated that the rebranding could be a move to distance the game from its full title amid legal scrutiny, while others believe it might be a routine update aimed at reinforcing the game’s acronym, “BGMI,” which is already widely recognized among players.
