Group Green’s matches in the Group Stage of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 have ended, and the Indian team Orangutan has been eliminated from the tournament. The team finished in 14th place in Group Green and missed the Last Chance qualification (Top 11) by 7 points. The top three teams from this group, Alpha Gaming, Dplus KIA, and GOAT Team, have qualified for the PMGC 2025 Grand Finals and will join the seven teams that already secured their spots through the Gauntlet stage. Teams placed from 4th to 11th in the Green Group standings will move to the Last Chance stage, while the bottom five teams, including Orangutan, have been eliminated from the competition.
Indian Team Orangutan Eliminated From PMGC 2025
The champions of BMSD 2025, Orangutan, entered the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 with high hopes. Led by Aaru and featuring players like Attanki, AkOP, and Wizzgod, the team could not perform as expected. In the Gauntlet Stage, they finished 11th, where only the top seven teams qualified for the Finals.
They then moved to the Green Group in the Group Stage, played from 28 to 30 November, but continued to struggle and ended in 14th place. Only the top three teams qualified for the Grand Finals, while teams from 4th to 11th moved to the Last Chance stage. The bottom five were eliminated, which included Orangutan. With this result, India’s first hope is out of the tournament. The country’s remaining hope, True Rippers, will now compete in Group Red from 2 to 4 December.

PMGC 2025 Group Stage Day 3 Recap
Match 1
The first match of the day was played on Rondo. Orangutan landed in Dang Ching and rotated early toward the center. The team focused on fights and eliminated Wolves with a clean third party. Later, Orangutan won a proper 4v4 fight against REJECT for the first time in PMGC 2025. Aaru also pulled off a strong 1v2 clutch against GS. The zone did not favor them in the end, and the team finished in third place with a total of fourteen points. 9z Esports won the match with nineteen points.
Match 2
The second match was played on Erangel. Orangutan dropped in Rozhok and the zone shifted toward Military Island. The team rotated late from the Novo bridge and crossed safely. After entering the island, they fought Tianba, but the Chinese team eliminated all OG players. Orangutan could take only one point from this match. Team Falcons won the game with nineteen points.
Match 3
The third match was also on Erangel and Orangutan again dropped in Rozhok. The zone once again went to Military Island. Before crossing the bridge, Attanki was knocked and eliminated in a fight against Loops. After crossing, the team was caught by Falcons who finished Wizzgod and Aaru. AKOP survived alone and pushed the team to sixth place, but OG earned only three points. Dplus KIA won the match with eighteen points.
Match 4
The fourth match was played on Erangel. Orangutan landed in Rozhok and this time the zone shifted toward Lipovka and Mylta Power. While rotating near Mansion, they fought 9z and Attanki secured an early finish. The team again took aggressive fights and AKOP added another finish on Wolves. Later, Orangutan eliminated Team Falcons after a strong performance from Attanki. In the final circles, OG fell between the fight of Tianba and Gen G and were eliminated. The team still took a good total of thirteen points with ten finishes. GOAT won the match with twenty points.
Match 5
The fifth match was played on Miramar. Orangutan took a split drop at La Bendita and the zone shifted toward El Pozo. During rotation, Wizzgod was eliminated by Team Secret which forced the team to continue with three players. While entering the circle, Aaru was finished by DOK from Alpha Gaming and Attanki was knocked by Divine from REJECT. AKOP survived alone but could not stay long and was also eliminated. Orangutan took only two points from this match. Alpha Gaming won the game with twenty two points.
Match 6
The final match of the Green Group was played on Miramar. Orangutan again dropped at La Bendita and the zone moved toward Crater Fields. The team rotated late and pushed into a Dplus compound where Alpha Gaming also arrived to third party. In this intense triple fight, Wizzgod played brilliantly and eliminated players from both Dplus and Alpha Gaming which gave OG six early eliminations. After this strong start, the team moved toward the center but Wizzgod was eliminated by GS. AKOP and Aaru tried to move forward but GS chased them and finished both players which resulted in Orangutan getting eliminated from PMGC 2025. The team earned twelve points from this match. Tianba won the last match with twenty two points.
