Valorant Players Can Control Omen’s Paranoia Speed With Their Movement

It was recently found out that the speed of Omen’s Paranoia varies depending on the direction the player is moving.

Omen is one of the most interesting agents in Riot’s competitive shooter Valorant. His skillset is rather unique and allows him to teleport throughout the map at will while being able to use flashes and block off enemy vision strategically.

While Omen’s gameplay mechanics are already complex, it seems like recent findings from some Valorant players might increase its complexity even further.

According to a Reddit post by u/ThePingPanther, the speed of Omen’s ‘Paranoia’ varies noticeably depending on the direction the player casting it is moving.

For instance, if the player is moving forwards, the travel time for the projectile of Paranoia seems to be the shortest, while moving backward results in longer times. When casting paranoia while standing still, the projectile speed seems to be somewhere between the two.

While the difference in travel times can seem small at first, Omen players can certainly use this information to their advantage while attempting to clear out important angles with paranoia.

Some players are also claiming that the same mechanic works with the Cluster Grenade of Raze, although we haven’t verified it yet.
