It has been two weeks since the Valorant patch 5.01 hit the live servers on Jule 12, 2022. The patch introduced a new smurf detection system, Agent changes, and much more that the fans can read all about here.

While Valorant fans were eagerly looking forward to the upcoming Valorant patch 5.02 which was set to be released on August 2nd, it seems that the new patch won’t be making it to the live servers within the scheduled time.

Valorant Patch 5.03

In a recent statement, Riot Games has confirmed that the next Valorant update has been postponed by the developers for a week.

In fact, Vaorant patch 5.02 will be skipped entirely whereas 5.03 will be introduced early to make up for it.

Valorant Patch 5.03 Release Date & Contents

Players can expect the next Valorant update to land on August 9, 2022. While the exact contents of the upcoming Valorant update haven’t been revealed by Riot Games, fans can expect it to bring some changes to the new map Pearl, which was added to the competitive map pool with the last Valorant update.

It’s also likely that the new update will bring with it some changes to the Agents in Valorant. Patch 5.01 saw the devs giving some significant buffs to Phoenix and Yoru whereas KAY/O also received a small change.

Valorant is a 5v5 online competitive shooter that was developed and published by Riot Games in June 2020. The title is available to play exclusively on PC, with a separate mobile version currently in the works.
