PUBG Mobile bans 2.3 million accounts in a week for cheating

PUBG Mobile revealed a big progress in their anti-cheat program. The officials have revealed that they have banned over 2.3 million accounts in the period of seven days.

PUBG Mobile made the anti-cheating announcement on several social media platforms and the numbers are huge for the timeframe of seven days. From 18th December to 24th December, PUBG Mobile has banned a total of 2,395,953 accounts for cheating with various methods.

The bans are distributed into several categories as follows:

  • X-Ray vision: 14 percent
  • Auto-aim hacks: 16 percent
  • Speed hacks: 14 percent
  • Modification of area damage: 13 percent
  • Modification of the character model: 20 percent
  • Others: 20 percent

PUBG Mobile has been striving to create a better platform of fair-play since a long time and introduced several programme since the last year.

PUBG Mobile recently upgraded their anti-cheat system by introducing a “peer-review mechanism” that enhanced their ability to stop hackers from exploiting the spectator system. The game is also going to include a “Safety Observation Period” to further reduce the hacking cases.
