KRAFTON India today confirmed that Marvel’s SpiderMan: Brand New Day will swing into BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) as part of the upcoming 4.5 Update. It will be available from July 30 to September 14, 2026. Timed to the film’s release, the collaboration marks the return of Marvel to BGMI. Moreover, it is one of the most ambitious gameplay transformations in the game’s history. The Battlegrounds evolve into a vertical, high-mobility urban playground inspired by Spider-Man’s world.

This is not a cosmetic crossover. It reshapes how BGMI is played. In particular, it shifts the core experience from where you stand to how fast you can move. Additionally, this blends superhero fantasy with BGMI’s signature survival gameplay.

A New City Rises Over Erangel

Familiar zones of Erangel undergo a dramatic transformation. As parts of the map evolve into a modern, Spider-Man-inspired urban district built for vertical combat, players will experience:

• Skyline Plaza – a brand-new high-rise district replacing traditional combat zones like Gatka and Mansion
• A dense vertical city – rooftop platforms, elevated walkways, and fast traversal routes designed around a single idea: go up, not just forward
• Skyline Ziplines – placed across the urban zone to let players move rapidly between rooftops and maintain momentum through combat

In this reimagined battleground, movement becomes as important as survival – and the skyline itself becomes the new frontline.

With Great Power Comes Faster Gameplay

The collaboration introduces Spider-Man-inspired abilities that redefine mobility and combat in BGMI, unlocked through two signature items:

Peter Parker’s Gloves unlock superhero traversal and combat mechanics. Players can use Web Swing to travel between buildings at high speed. Also, Web Attack lets you fire webs that damage, slow, and eventually immobilise enemies in web traps.

His Hoodie is a mobility-focused upgrade enhancing agility and awareness. With Wall Climbing you can scale buildings and vertical surfaces. Meanwhile, Spider Sense detects enemy movement through footprints and tracking indicators. Finally, Double Jump helps you reach rooftops and elevated zones faster than ever.

Peter Parker’s World Comes Alive

Beyond combat, the update introduces immersive, story-driven spaces and cinematic experiences inspired by Spider-Man’s most iconic moments:

• Peter Parker’s Apartment – step into Peter’s personal space, explore interactive objects, and discover hidden Easter eggs from the Spider-Man universe
• Rescue Photo Zone – a cinematic sequence where Spider-Man saves a falling player, followed by an in-game photo moment capturing the interaction
• Train Rescue Sequence – a fully scripted cinematic event recreating one of Spider-Man’s most legendary hero moments, rewarding players on completion
• Cemetery Tribute Zone – a quieter exploration space where players interact with memorials, unlock rewards, and may encounter Spider-Man in a subtle Easter egg appearance

A Spiderman Adventure in WOW Mode

The collaboration extends into WOW Mode with a dedicated, non-battle-royale experience. This mode is a narrative-driven, exploration-first space where players can freely swing across the city, complete Spider-Man-themed missions, and take on parkour-style rooftop challenges. Plus, you can unlock progression-based rewards. It is a deliberate expansion of BGMI beyond combat, into a creative playground where the world itself is an experience.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration will be available in BGMI from July 30 to September 14, 2026. It comes as part of the BGMI 4.5 update.
