Gangstar Mirage City Pre-Registration Opens in India

Level Infinite, the global games publisher owned by Tencent, has opened pre-registration in India for Gangstar Mirage City, the latest entry in Gameloft’s long-running open-world crime franchise. The free-to-play mobile title is now accepting sign-ups through its official website across South Asia, along with Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America, ahead of a soft launch scheduled for August 20, 2026.

The Gangstar series, which Gameloft first launched in 2006, has grown into one of the studio’s signature IPs over nearly two decades, amassing more than 340 million registered players across its history. Gangstar Mirage City is designed for iOS and Android and centers on a near-future metropolis that responds to players’ choices, blending scripted story missions with open-ended, systemic gameplay.

What the Game Offers

The title leans on three broad pillars of play. Players can customize and race a range of vehicles, from street-legal supercars to armored trucks, while pulling off cooperative heists that require coordinated teamwork. A territory-control layer lets players expand their influence across the city’s districts, generating in-game income and unlocking deeper customization for both vehicles and weapons. On the competitive side, the game includes several PvP arena formats, including team vehicle combat and last-player-standing matches, with additional modes planned post-launch.

Notably, the developers have prioritized accessibility, building the game with low minimum hardware requirements and a lightweight initial install so it can run on a wide range of devices, a decision likely aimed at maximizing reach in price-sensitive mobile markets like India.

Factions and Pre-Registration Rewards

Ahead of launch, Level Infinite is running a pre-registration incentive called the Global Vault Heist, which unlocks in-game rewards as more players sign up. Registrants can also pick one of four rival factions to align with:

  • The Family, built around tradition and influence
  • O-Rage, framed as a rebellious, underground movement
  • The Ghosts, an outlaw crew running the city’s illegal street-racing circuits
  • Jersey Boyz, which controls the in-game supply chain.

Each faction comes with its own exclusive avatar reward, and players can bring up to three friends into their crew for extra bonuses.

Language Support and Availability

At soft launch, Gangstar Mirage City will support nine languages – English, Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Tagalog, Turkish, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, with English voiceover across all versions. The game is rated for players 18 and older.

Pre-registration is open now through the official website, with updates also available on the game’s Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as its Discord community.
