Epic Games Store is Giving Away a free game every day starting 17th December until 2021.

While Valve likes to keep Steam sales a secret till the day of sale, Epic Games on the other hand just announced its upcoming Holiday Sale kicking off on December 17. Starting on 17 December, and running until 2021 Epic Games, via the Epic Games Store will offer discounts by up to 75 percent, and this time rather than the usual 10$ discount offer, the big hook is the announcement of “15 Days of Free Games!”

Starting 17th December, Epic Games Store will be giving away a free game every day until the end of the month —15 games in total. Each game will only be available free for 24 hours, however, once downloaded, each is yours to keep forever.

The announcement from Epic Games reads:

“We’re getting ready for the season of giving with our most festive sale of the year! The Epic Games Store Holiday Sale begins on 17 December, and we’ve got some goodies in store for you. Unwrap deals up to 75 percent off, but that’s not all…. Also starting 17 December, we’ll be giving away a new game each day for two weeks straight – that’s right, it’s 15 Days of Free Games! Each game will be free to claim for just 24 hours, but they’re yours to keep forever. Happy (Early) Holidays, everyone!”

Like every other free game given via the Epic Games Store, there’s no catch. All you need is a registered Epic account which costs nothing but an email and password. Also, you will need to enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) to claim these games.

Right now, there’s no word of what these games will be, but users can expect some substantial freebies and games. According to some rumors, the line-up this time includes 3 games from Ubisoft — Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and Far Cry 5. The rumors also suggest that the likes of Borderlands 3 and The Witcher 3 also made it to the list. Like all other rumors, please take these rumors with a grain of salt and wait for Epic Games to officially reveal the games.
