Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Release Date & Preload Times Confirmed

Ubisoft has confirmed the global release date and preload schedule for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The remake of the 2013 title Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launches worldwide on July 9, 2026.

The game is developed by Ubisoft Singapore. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. On PC, players can buy it through the Ubisoft Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

When Does Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Release

Ubisoft has locked in July 9, 2026 as the launch date across all platforms. Console versions will unlock at midnight local time worldwide.

PC and GeForce Now players follow a separate global schedule. In the United States, the PC version unlocks at 7 AM PDT on the West Coast and 10 AM EDT on the East Coast.

Preload Times for PC, PS5 and Xbox

Preload access varies by platform:

  • Xbox Series X|S: Preload is already live. Xbox players can download the game right now ahead of launch day.
  • PlayStation 5: Preload begins on July 7, 2026, at midnight local time.
  • PC (Ubisoft Connect, Steam, Epic Games Store): Preload also starts on July 7, 2026, at 2 PM UTC (14:00 UTC).

The full download size sits between 61 GB and 64 GB, depending on the platform. This is a manageable size compared to many modern AAA releases.
