Best CoC Bases 2026: TH10 to TH18 War, Farming and Trophy Layouts (With Links)

Copy links for 27 CoC bases covering TH10 to TH18, with one war, farming and trophy layout per level and notes on how TH18's Revenge Tower changes base design.

The best CoC bases in 2026 depend on your Town Hall level and what you need the base to do. War bases protect against three-star attacks. Farming bases protect your storages. Trophy bases protect the Town Hall. Below you’ll find one tested copy link for each of the three base types at every level from TH10 to TH18, 27 links in total. You’ll also find the layout rules that apply at each level.

Tap a link on your phone and the game opens with the layout preview ready to save. You need to be at that exact Town Hall level for the link to work.

Quick Picks: Best CoC Bases by Town Hall

These are the 27 base links. Each one opens in the in-game layout editor.

The layouts come from the community library at Clash of Clans Layouts, where you can also find older variants for each level.

You copy a base by opening its link on the same device where Clash of Clans is installed. The game asks which layout slot to save it in.

  1. Open this page on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap the link that matches your Town Hall level.
  3. Clash of Clans opens and shows a preview of the base.
  4. Tap “Copy” and pick a home village or war layout slot.
  5. Place any buildings the layout doesn’t cover, then save.

Links that start with WB are war bases. HV links are home village bases and work for farming and trophy pushing. A TH17 link won’t open on a TH16 account, and the reverse is also true.

War Bases vs Farming Bases vs Trophy Bases

Each type defends something different, so a base built for one job usually does poorly at the others.

Base TypeWhat It ProtectsTown Hall PlacementBest For
War / CWLStars, mainly the third starCenter, or offset to split attacksClan Wars, Clan War League
FarmingGold, Elixir and Dark Elixir storagesOutside or near the edgeSaving loot for upgrades
Trophy / LegendTrophies and the Town HallDeep inside the coreRanked climbing, Legend League

For war, the goal is to stop the third star. Most war bases at TH13 and up give up some percentage on purpose and spread key defenses so that no single funnel reaches everything.

A farming base is built around the storages. Many players leave the Town Hall exposed in lower leagues, since Town Hall loot is small next to what sits in the storages.

Trophy bases matter more since the Legend League rework in April 2026. Legend 1 players now face eight battles a day, so one base has to hold up against many attacks. Our Legend League rework breakdown explains the new three-tier system.

Best TH18 Bases in 2026

TH18 is the highest Town Hall level right now. It launched on November 17, 2025. The official Town Hall 18 release notes list two new defenses: the Revenge Tower and the Super Wizard Tower.

The Revenge Tower gets stronger as the attacker destroys 5, 20 and 40 buildings. That changes base design. Good TH18 war bases put the Revenge Tower near the core, so it reaches full power right when the attacker’s army gets there. The Super Wizard Tower merges two Wizard Towers and can chain its attack across up to 15 troops. It works best where an attacker’s army clumps together, usually right behind a wall break.

TH18 also added Guardians: the Smasher, a melee unit, and the Longshot, a ranged one. You pick one per village. The Smasher rages once the Town Hall falls, so it pairs well with trophy bases that keep the Town Hall deep in the core.

Best TH17 Bases

TH17 arrived in November 2024 and brought the Inferno Artillery as its Town Hall weapon. It fires 4 projectiles at once, and each one picks a different target. It also added the Firespitter, an aimed defense similar to the Air Sweeper, and the Giga Bomb trap, which hits hard and pushes troops back.

On a TH17 war base, aim the Firespitters to cover the entry points attackers use most often. Place the Giga Bomb where heroes are likely to walk in, since its pushback can split a hero from its support troops.

Best TH16 and TH15 Bases

TH16 added merged defenses. The Ricochet Cannon and the Multi-Archer Tower each combine two older buildings into one. Merging leaves you with fewer buildings, which shrinks the base and gives attackers fewer easy targets to pick off for percentage.

TH15 brought the Monolith and Spell Towers. The Monolith deals damage based on the target’s health, so it punishes tanky troops and heroes. Keep it away from the edge, where Root Riders and heroes can reach it early.

Best TH14, TH13 and TH12 Bases

These three levels make up the mid game, where most accounts slow down while they wait on hero and wall upgrades. Farming bases are the most useful layouts here.

At TH14 you unlock the Pet House, and Builder’s Huts start shooting back. Spread the Builder’s Huts across the base so attackers can’t clear them all at once. TH13 added the Scattershot and the Royal Champion. Two Scattershots placed side by side can shut down a Queen Charge, so most good TH13 bases keep them apart. TH12 brought the Giga Tesla, the first Town Hall weapon, which makes the Town Hall itself a strong defense in war.

Best TH11 and TH10 Bases

At TH10 and TH11, mass air attacks and Queen Walk setups beat weak layouts. A good base at these levels keeps the Air Defenses inside walls and puts the Inferno Towers where they cover each other.

TH11 adds the Eagle Artillery and the Grand Warden. The Eagle only switches on after the attacker deploys a large share of their army, so a central Eagle hits hard in the second half of an attack. At TH10 the two Inferno Towers matter most. Set them to single-target mode against hero-heavy attacks and to multi-target mode against mass troop attacks.

The new Clashiversary crafted defenses also reach these levels, starting at TH11. Read our guide to the three new TH11+ crafted defenses before you place them in a copied layout. A link copied from a library won’t have a slot for them.

How to Tell if a CoC Base Is Working

Check your defense log after 10 to 15 attacks. One loss doesn’t mean much.

Look at where the attacks start. If most attackers enter from the same corner, the base has a weak side, so move one strong defense or a trap toward it. If a farming base keeps losing over 50% of its storage loot, move the storages closer together and further inside the walls. Bases that get posted publicly also get studied, and attackers learn how to beat popular CWL layouts within a few weeks of release. Swapping a couple of traps or moving the Town Hall a few tiles makes a copied layout harder to read.

Players who farm for upgrades can also earn steady Ore from the Prospector. Our Prospector ore rates guide covers whether he’s worth the cost.
