GTA 6 Pre-Orders Set to Go Live Next Week: Leaks Suggest

The anticipation within the gaming community surrounding the release of GTA 6 may have just reached a new high, as recent leaks suggest that pre-orders for the Rockstar Games title are all set to go live next week.

A Best Buy affiliate email that got accidentally sent out early to select creators and affiliates might have revealed the start date for GTA 6 pre-orders. The email, sent via Impact, one of the leading affiliate partner marketplaces, points to a campaign window running from May 18 to May 21, specifically for the physical copy of the game.

Should this leak turn out to be true, it would not only put to rest the lingering fear of yet another delay but could also mean that the long-awaited GTA 6 Trailer 3 is finally right around the corner. A portion of the community also believes that the trailer might officially drop alongside the pre-order announcement.

Rockstar and Take-Two have not officially confirmed these dates at the time of writing, so take this news with a grain of salt. There’s no pricing detail in the email either, though the game is expected to retail at around $70-80 USD base price.

With that being said, the timing for the GTA 6 pre-order leaks makes complete sense. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has recently been doubling down on the November 19, 2026, release date while hinting that marketing would be ramping up very soon. Six months out is right around when you’d expect pre-orders for such a large-scale project to open.

GTA 6 Trailer 2, which was released over a year ago, has over 160 million hits as of yet. With that kind of demand, if Rockstar does decide to pull back the curtain next week, the internet is simply not going to be ready.
