Switzerland’s Logitech partners with India’s Gamer, Streamer Shagufta ‘Xyaa’ Iqbal

Headquartered in Switzerland & America, Logitech, a premium computer peripheral manufacturer announced partnership with Indian gamer and streamer Shagufta Iqbal, better known as Xyaa. The streamer announced the partnership on her social profiles.


The establishing partnership comes in when the gaming companies are looking to allocate more of their budget to online promotions amid the ongoing global pandemic.

Logitech International S.A. has a dedicated gaming division on their website which features gaming headsets, mice, keyboards & controllers available across the world. Logitech Gaming has been an active participant in the esports industry and promoting gaming in general through their several programs.

Astralis, Natus Vincere, Team SoLoMid and other top esports organizations in the world are also powered by Logitech Gaming. Further, Danish League of Legends midlaner, Søren ‘Bjergsen’ Bjerg is a part of Logitech’s Esports feature.

So much so that Logitech have produced a documentary featuring Bjergsen’s journey in gaming and as a professional player.

The partnership with Shagufta comes in after she garnered over 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel with an additionally substantial presence of 80,000 on Facebook-owned Instagram.

Unlike most of the PUBG Mobile influencers and streamers, Xyaa is not a new to the gaming community in Asia. Mapping her way to hundreds and thousands of subscribers and bagging Logitech as her sponsor took her good years.

Although she started streaming in 2018, her gaming career goes way back. She has been actively participating in competitive gaming and community events, from travelling hundreds of miles to spending hours in creating video content for her fans, Shagufta has put in a lot of hours and years.

Prior to full-time gaming and streaming, Shagufta was working as a Software Developer at Capgemini in Pune, Maharashtra. In an interview to T2Online, Xyaa revealed that her parents are “very supportive” of the career choices she’s made by switching to full-time streaming. Mainstream media in India also covered her story several times because gaming in India is somehow still considered a taboo.

In the past mainstream giants like Ubisoft Intel, NVIDIA, ZionRAM, Goutfits & Entity Gaming have associated with Shagufta to promote their brands. She was featured in one of Lenovo’s Legion campaign which was widely promoted in Asian subcontinent.The addition of Logitech exemplifies quality of content she possess and her notable experience in the gaming spectrum.
