After a largely unpredictable Stage 1 of the Counter-Strike 2 Budapest Major 2025, the Pick’Ems of many CS2 players are left in shambles. This isn’t that surprising, since the current, unforgiving nature of CS2 Pick’Ems combined with the volatile Major format makes the initial stages incredibly hard to predict. Fortunately, even if you missed out on the Diamond coin for this Major, the Gold coin remains well within reach.
Whether you’re one of the lucky players who are still in contention for the prestigious Budapest Major Diamond coin or just looking to extract as many Souvenir tokens as possible by reaching the Gold coin, you’ll want to get your Stage 2 Pick’Ems correct.
Similar to Stage 1, you’ll need to hit at least five correct picks out of the ten total picks that you make during the second Stage to advance your tournament coin.
In this guide, we break down our predictions for the CS2 Budapest Major Stage 2 Pick’Ems.
Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2 Pick’Ems Guide
As with the previous stage, it’s important to note that Stage 2 of the CS2 Budapest Major 2025 will be equally as challenging and unpredictable because of the inherently volatile format of the event, making it highly prone to upsets.
However, we’ve done our best to maximize the odds of getting at least five correct picks by taking into account the current form of teams, their recent performances, alongside a bunch of other factors.
Without further ado, let’s check out our picks for CS2 Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2.
Best Stage 2 Picks for CS2 Budapest Major 2025
Below, we have listed our picks for the CS2 Budapest Major 2025:
- 3-0 Picks: NAVI, 3DMAX
- 0-3 Picks: Tyloo, Passion UA
- Qualifying Picks: Aurora, B8, M80, Astralis, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid

Both NAVI and 3DMAX haven’t exactly been in their best forms recently, but both of these orgs still field solid rosters that have proved themselves in the past, making them decent picks for 3-0.
Tyloo, Passion UA, MIBR, and Imperial are all viable 0–3 candidates, but it’s tough to predict exactly which teams will actually end up in the two spots without seeing the first series of BO1s. We ultimately went with the first two, but at this stage, it’s anyone’s guess.
For the 3-1 and 3-2 qualifying teams, we went with Aurora, B8, M80, Astralis, FaZe, and Team Liquid based on their recent forms and overall team performances. However, teams like FlyQuest and Parivision could easily end up snatching a spot for themselves.
As always, be sure to do your own research before locking in your picks, and be aware of the possibility that things may end up going wrong. Also, remember to lock your picks in for the Stage 2 Pick’Ems before the submissions come to a close.
