The StarLadder Budapest Major is ongoing in full swing, and Valve has sneakily released a new CS2 update that will affect all the Community Artists, more specifically, how Valve chooses to pay them.
For every Community Skin released by independent artists, Valve has released a parallel pay structure for every category. These “Supplemental” terms primarily focus on giving the artists a flat fee if their cosmetic is released in the game. The new alternate pay structure is as follows.
New Pay Structure
Weapon: $35,000.00
Sticker: $6,000.00
Charm: $6,000.00
Note: These figures are for individual entries and not accounts. For example, if one skin is selected under the new pay structure, the flat fee will be divided among all the contributors.
Goes without saying that the numbers are far too low for artists to even consider this pay structure, and given the reaction of the community, Valve should either ramp up the fees or players are unlikely to be on board with this.

Humidifiers are among the most important resources within Arc Raiders, especially when working your way up through Expedition Projects. These rare, blue items can be rather evasive when you don’t know where to look. Still, the community has pinpointed several farming locations that can make your life much easier in terms of efficiency.
Let’s find out the Humidifiers in Arc Raiders without wasting any time.
Where to Find Humidifiers in Arc Raiders
The Red Tower building on the Buried City map, facing Plaza Rosa in the Old Town sector, is quite literally the best spot in the entire game for farming humidifiers. You will have extremely consistent spawns with very little RNG frustration. To get to it, go south from the starting spawn area in the direction of Old Town on your map. Once there, climb the exterior walls and make your way into the inner rooms, where you will see red lockers. These contain at least one humidifier each, with almost a 100% chance per visit. Run this position consistently during expeditions, and you’ll rack up the five humidifiers required for your Framework upgrade in record time.
If the Red Tower is contested by other raiders, then residential areas provide secondary options. The Grandiose Apartments on Buried City and the Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds each contain humidifiers, though their spawn rates are lower than those of the Red Tower. The Hospital location in Buried City also yields humidifiers from searchable containers and medical drawers at an average of about one to two humidifiers per session of good loot. The Space Travel areas have also been quite promising in terms of humidifier drops, although the pattern of their spawn is still more unpredictable.
For the fastest farming runs, prioritize night raids. These reportedly increase high-loot spawn chances. Bring a secure pocket to make sure that the collected humidifiers you have do not burden your carrying capacity. Once you’ve looted your target location, use nearby exfil points, especially from the Hospital, where subway stairs provide quick extraction that will allow you to finish runs at a little over ten minutes each.

What to Expect from the PUBG Mobile Esports Roadmap 2026
End of PMSLs and Possible PMPL Return
The PUBG Mobile 2026 roadmap has created huge hype, especially after recent reports suggested that the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) might be cancelled next year. If this happens, the biggest question is which tournament will replace it. PMSLs were introduced in 2024, and before that, the PUBG Mobile scene was built around the PUBG Mobile Pro Leagues (PMPLs). So, if PMSL is removed, there is a strong possibility that PMPLs could make a comeback. All these doubts will be cleared on 12 December 2025 during the official announcement.
PMGO, PMWC, and PMGC: The Major Events
The three major tournaments, PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC), and PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC), are expected to remain the core events of the 2026 competitive season. PMGO will likely take place around April, PMWC in July–August, and PMGC will again close the year with its grand finals in November–December.
The PUBG Mobile 4.2 beta download is now officially live on the PUBG Mobile beta Discord server. Check out the PUBG Mobile 4.2 update beta APK download link and guide below.
When Phase 2 opens, report bugs in the bug-report-guide channel.
PUBG Mobile releases the beta server about a month before every major update. This beta is given to a limited number of registered players so they can test all the new features early. Players can share feedback and report any bugs or glitches, helping the developers fix issues before the update’s official release.
PUBG Mobile 4.2 update release date and time
The PUBG Mobile 4.2 update is set to release in January 2026, likely between 3 to 9 January. The rollout is planned to begin in the morning at 7:30 AM IST. Before the update goes live, developers also reveal all upcoming features through the beta patch notes.
PUBG Mobile usually releases major updates every two months. For example, version 3.8 arrived in May 2025, 3.9 in July 2025, 4.0 in September 2025, and PUBG Mobile 4.1 update was released in November 2025. This pattern confirms the PUBG Mobile 4.2 update release date in January 2026.
The BGMI 4.2 update is set to be released in January 2026, and the leaks have already started circulating on the internet. The highly anticipated BGMI next update will introduce the Prime Wood Genesis theme mode based on nature and greenery. Gamers can also look forward to many exciting new gameplay features like Scorpion and Deer vehicles, new map changes, a tree-like AI companion, and even new weapons to use in battles. Check out the BGMI 4.2 update release date, theme mode, and new features.
BGMI Next Update: Prime Wood Genesis Mode and Mirror Island
The biggest highlight of the BGMI 4.2 update is the new Prime Wood Genesis Mode, which fully changes the look and gameplay of Erangel.
A huge tree-like structure appears on the map, almost like the old Mirror Island but much larger. Players can climb this area and fight or loot on top of it. The ground around this tree becomes a Radioactive Zone, so players must stay safe while moving through it.
To reach the giant tree, players need to use blue portal circles placed at different spots on the map. These portals take you to the upper fighting zone.
Map Changes and New Hot Drops
This update also changes some popular Erangel locations.
Fixed Hot Drops: Pochinki and Yasnaya Polyana are confirmed as permanent hot drop areas in this mode.
New Designs: Both locations get new buildings, palaces, courtyards, and bridge-like pathways that look like giant tree roots. These paths connect different parts of the area, letting players move quickly above the original map.
New Summonable Vehicle: The Scorpion
One of the most exciting additions is a special personal vehicle called the Scorpion. Players can find an item called the Scorpion Horn. When used, it adds a new button on the screen that lets you summon the Scorpion anywhere in an open area.
The best part is that this vehicle is portable. When you get off, it automatically goes back into your backpack, so it becomes your personal companion. The Scorpion has special moves like a jump/stomp attack and Launch Spikes, a long-range ability that can even defeat the new boss in this mode.
Guardian Boss: A tree-like boss called the Guardian appears mainly in Yasnaya Polyana. It can throw poisonous liquid and summon smaller tree creatures to attack players.
New Special Weapon: Leaks also show a new green-themed weapon with wave-like effects. Early reports say it might work like the Snow M24 by trapping enemies with tree-root effects when fired.
BGMI 4.2 Update Release Date and Time
Krafton India has not officially confirmed the exact BGMI 4.2 update date, but we can estimate it using the previous update schedule. Krafton usually pushes a major update every two months. For example, BGMI 3.8 came in May 2025, 3.9 in July 2025, 4.0 in September 2025, and BGMI 4.1 update arrived in November 2025.
Following this pattern, the BGMI 4.2 update is expected to be released in January 2026, most likely between 9 to 16 January, which is the usual time window Krafton follows for big updates.
If the rollout follows the regular timing, players can expect the update to start rolling out from 6:30 AM IST onwards on the release day. Before the update becomes available, BGMI creators will also release a new update podcast where they will reveal all the new features coming in version 4.2.

Indian teams have been competing in esports for almost 15 years, yet the international results have remained almost the same. Only one Indian team has ever lifted an international trophy, Team NSD in 2012 at the Tokyo Game Show for Counter-Strike. Since then, every time India enters a global event, expectations rise but the outcome stays disappointing.
This gap becomes even more noticeable when we see new global teams, playing their first international tournaments, still performing better than India in terms of gameplay, confidence, and basics. So why does this keep happening? Here are the simple and clear reasons behind India’s struggles on the world stage.
Why Indian Esports Teams Struggle at International Events: PMGC 2025 Reality Check
Lack of Strong Basics
One of the biggest issues is the lack of solid fundamentals. Indian teams often struggle with simple things like using utilities correctly, creating crossfires, holding positions, and taking trades. Even when the in-game leaders (IGLs) give strong rotations or good positions, the team fails to convert them.
This basic gap becomes more visible during world events where every team is mechanically strong and extremely disciplined. India’s inconsistency in gunfights and unnecessary reliance on close-range plays — even in mid-range battles — costs them important fights.
Very Limited International Exposure
Exposure is the biggest difference between India and top esports regions. Indian teams mostly play domestic events throughout the year and only get one or two chances to compete internationally. Meanwhile, global teams scrim and compete with other top-level rosters regularly.
Watching international matches is one thing, but actually playing inside that lobby is completely different. If Indian teams face world-class competition only once a year, improvement becomes extremely slow. Without continuous exposure to stronger lobbies, the gap will always remain.
IGLs Lack Firepower
Indian IGLs are great with rotations and strategies, but struggle when it comes to firepower. In global events, IGLs like Sylas, DOK, and Rosemary not only lead the team but also perform as top fraggers. Their presence boosts the team’s morale and consistency.
In India, even top IGLs often cannot deliver the same level of impact in fights. This affects both confidence and round conversions.
Struggle in 4v4 Fights
Indian teams repeatedly fail to convert 4v4 fights, even when they have positional advantage. In PMGC and other tournaments, multiple moments showed India in better positions but still losing fights they should have won.
These lost 4v4s are usually the difference between qualifying and getting eliminated early.
Weak Coaching and Lack of Discipline
A strong coach is the backbone of any championship team. International coaches are highly involved — from strategies to mental preparation. In India, coaching is still new and not taken as seriously. Many teams do not give enough importance to structured coaching or regular review sessions.
Player discipline is another major issue. Discipline builds consistency, improves mentality, and prepares players for high-pressure international stages. Without it, teams struggle to play with focus and structure.
The talent in India is huge, and the passion for esports is growing every year. But to perform globally, India must improve the basics, increase international exposure, develop stronger IGLs, convert crucial fights, and most importantly — build discipline and proper coaching systems.
With the right changes, India can definitely close the gap. Until then, international results will continue to repeat the same pattern.
Discord has rolled out its own version of a yearly recap, giving users a chance to check out exactly how they spent their time on the platform over the past year. Named Discord Checkpoint 2025, the new recap feature is already live within the client and will remain accessible for the next several weeks, giving users plenty of time to explore their yearly stats.
Discord Checkpoint 2025 will show you several interesting stats regarding how you used the platform throughout the year, including your most active servers, friends you interacted with, total messages sent, voice activity, and more. You can even check which emojis you spammed the most over the year!
Don’t worry, Discord recap 2025 has something in store for gamers as well. You’ll be able to see which games you played the most over the year, along with the total number of titles you launched. Keep in mind that Discord only tracks playtime of supported games while the client is running, so there’s a chance some games might be missing if they’re not supported on the platform or if you’ve been playing certain titles offline.
How to Check Discord Flashback 2025?
To check your Discord Flashback 2025, all you need to do is launch Discord and click on the flag icon located towards the top-right corner of your screen.
If you can’t see the icon, there’s a good chance that your Discord client is outdated. If that’s the case, you’ll need to update and relaunch the app to be able to see your yearly recap.
Once you click the flag icon, you’ll be greeted with your own Discord Flashback 2025. Simply hit the ‘Start’ button to see your yearly recap stats.
That’s everything you need to know about how to check your Discord recap 2025. Upon completing your Checkpoint, you’ll be rewarded with a cute little avatar decoration to put on your profile. Just be sure to claim it before it disappears on January 15, 2026.
Riot Games has officially announced dates and times of the last Valorant Night Market of 2025. The Night Market is all set to return on December 11, 2025. Through the years, this limited-time shopping extravaganza has cemented itself as part of the Valorant community calendar. This December edition promises to be particularly compelling, with an expanded roster of premium weapon skins and exclusive deals.
This will keep the Night Market open for around 20 days, into early January 2026. Within this timeframe, six mystery cards with weapon skins from past bundles are made accessible to the player at a value between 10% and 49% off, which is pretty significant compared to the usual storefront price. This system of randomization has made the Night Market a success in many ways, as it facilitates the community getting certain cosmetics that they want but just can’t seem to get.
The December 11 lineup is particularly stacked, featuring skins from prestigious collections like Wonderstallion, Forsaken, XERØFANG, Prime 2.0, Sovereign, Valiant Hero, and Gaia’s Vengeance, among others. Riot’s handpicked selection ensures that a minimum of two cards out of the six are guaranteed to feature premium-tier skins or melee cosmetics, ensuring that players get quality options alongside potential filler pulls.
The Valorant Night Market launches simultaneously across all regions at the following local times:
Mumbai: 5:30 AM IST (December 12, 2025)
New York: 8:00 PM EST / EDT (December 11, 2025)
Los Angeles: 5:00 PM PST / PDT (December 11, 2025)
Seoul and Tokyo: 9:00 AM KST / JST (December 12, 2025)
Frankfurt: 2:00 AM CET / CEST (December 12, 2025)
Sydney: 10:00 AM AEST (December 12, 2025)
Beijing: 8:00 AM CST (December 12, 2025)
One critical aspect differentiating the Night Market from standard Valorant shopping is its no-reroll policy. Unlike the daily store, which continuously refreshes, Night Market selections are permanently locked once revealed. This makes for meaningful purchasing decisions and strategic timing considerations for the more budget-conscious players trying to maximize their cosmetic investments.
