Recap of BGMS Season 3 Survival Week Day 3 Match 1 and 2

Here is the recap of both matches from BGMS Season 3 Survival Week Day 3.

Match 1 – Miramar: Groups E, B, C, D

As the first match of BGMS Season 3 Survival Week Day 3, the last five surviving teams were Global Esports, Carpediem, Team Tamilas, Entity, and Team Forever.

As the second last zone shrank, Entity Gaming’s last surviving player, Saumraj, tried to enter the playzone, but he couldn’t and got finished off by the zone.

The second-last zone formed around a single compound, comprising multiple buildings, and Team Forever had the control over the entire compound. Being the last player on the team, Team Tamilas’ MaxyOP opted for a heal battle outside the zone. As he ran out of meds, he rushed in towards the zone. While making his way to the zone, he spotted Carpediem’s MaxxPain and MonsterFIERCE, and finished them both, thus eliminating the team. Right after this, Maxy got finished off due to the zone.

This boiled down the match to two teams, Global Esports and Team Forever, in a 3v3 fight. After multiple knocks back-and-forth, Team Forever emerged as the winner.

Team Forever’s NINNJUU emerged as the MVP of the BGMS Season 3 Survival Week Day 3 Match 1 with 5 finishes.

While making a place in the final zone, Orangutan’s AKop knocked and finished Gods Reign’s FURY with grenades. However, Gods Reign’s PHANTOM traded this finish to knock out AKop. Olympic Esports Games Gets Approval, to Debut in 2025 in Saudi Arabia

0

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced the inception of the Olympic Esports Games, set to debut in 2025 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This decision was made during the 142nd IOC Session in Paris, marking a significant step towards integrating modern sports into its traditional framework.

IOC Approves Olympic Esports Games, to Debut in 2025 in Saudi Arabia

Esports has exploded in popularity over the last decade, capturing the hearts and minds of a younger, tech-savvy generation. By introducing the Olympic Esports Games, the IOC is acknowledging this cultural shift and extending its reach to a new audience.

The Games themselves will serve as a platform to showcase the esports industry in the established framework of the Olympics. It’s an exciting opportunity to witness the fusion of tradition and innovation. This will also give a massive, much-needed recognition, as well as boost, to the esports industry.

The partnership with the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Saudi Arabia for the next 12 years signifies the Kingdom’s increasing prominence in the esports arena. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has been crucial in transforming the country’s sports landscape, making it an ideal host for the debut of Olympic Esports Games.

As the IOC begins planning for the inaugural Olympic Esports Games, work will focus on selecting a city and venue, defining the event’s timing, and finalizing the list of game titles and qualification processes. A new structure will be established in the IOC to manage these games, distinct from the traditional Olympic model.

The IOC’s approach will involve collaborating with International Federations and National Olympic Committees already engaged in esports, ensuring a seamless integration of this new venture into the Olympic framework.

0

Skyesports Championship 2024, a prestigious $300,000 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament boasting top teams like The MongolZ, ENCE, BLEED, BetBoom Team, and Eternal Fire, has been hit with a wave of technical difficulties since its kick-off on July 23rd in Mumbai, India. In light of these challenges, BetBoom Team has officially announced their withdrawal from the tournament.

Technical Issues Force BetBoom Team to Withdraw from Skyesports Championship 2024

Skyesports Championship 2024 has been marred by power outages, internet disruptions, and subpar conditions, leading to significant frustrations among participants. Multiple players and teams have raised their voices about these issues. Some of these problems have been solved by the organizers, but some still persist.

What was supposed to be a showcase of CS2 talent from across the globe has been overshadowed by technical issues that are hindering the competitive integrity and overall experience.

As a result of these persistent issues, BetBoom Team found the environment inadequate for fair competition. They have announced their withdrawal from the Skyesports Championship 2024. The team issued an official statement on X, explaining their decision:

“BETBOOM TEAM WITHDRAWS FROM SKYESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Due to unmet promised conditions and unsuccessful attempts to resolve issues with the organizers, BetBoom Team has decided to withdraw from Skyesports Championship. We believe that fair competition requires a level playing field for all teams, which is currently not the case.”

Skyesports is a renowned esports tournament organizer in South Asia, known for hosting numerous tournaments across various games. The Skyesports Championship 2024 was highly anticipated, especially as a major CS2 event taking place in India after a long hiatus. BetBoom Team’s withdrawal is a significant blow to the tournament, raising questions about the event’s management and its ability to provide a stable and competitive platform for participating teams. It will be interesting to see how Skyesports addresses these issues and how the remaining 11 teams respond.

How to Change Language in CS2?

If you want to change the language in CS2, then the way to do that doesn’t lie inside the game. Changing settings in CS2 is a bit of a drag, especially with all the unresolved issues plaguing the game as we approach the second major.

CS2 does offer players the ability to choose certain languages for the game and even though the list may not be as long as some of the other games it includes most of the major languages. Changing them inside the game is not an option, so you must head out. In this article, we have explained how you can change language in CS2.

How to Change Language in CS2?

You can change the language in the Counter-Strike 2 outside of the game. Go to Steam Library, and then all of your games. Right-click on Counter-Strike, select Properties, and then “Language” under “General” Restart the game after changing it to the language of your choice.

Now you have CS2 running in the language of your choice. For gamers who find it difficult to play the game in English, this is a great addition by the developers given the fact Steam runs on the native machine language which makes guiding through the application itself a lot easier.

Valorant Console Release Date Leaked

0

Since its initial announcement on June 7th, the release of Valorant Console has been a hot topic of discussion within the FPS gaming community. Console gamers from throughout the globe have tuned into the closed beta of the game, and with Riot Games recently introducing the ranked game mode to Valorant Console, the title is continuing to attract casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Riot Games is yet to reveal an official release date for Valorant Console. However, recent leaks suggest that the final release of Valorant on console could be arriving sooner than anticipated.

According to a Tweet by reputed leaker ‘eXtas1stv’, Valorant Console is expected to have its global release on July 26, 2024.

The leaker also claimed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III would join the Xbox Game Pass library on July 24th, which Microsoft confirmed earlier today.

As mentioned earlier, Riot Games hasn’t made a statement on the final release date of Valorant Console, so take this news with a grain of salt. However, if the leaks are accurate, it won’t be long before fans outside the closed beta program can start playing Valorant on console.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Set To Join the Xbox Game Pass Library

0

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is all set to join the expanding library of the Xbox Game Pass tomorrow. This inclusion marks the first time a CoD title has been featured on the Xbox Game Pass.

The 2023 first-person shooter will be available to play on the Console Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate starting July 24th.

The news comes just weeks after Microsoft announced price hikes for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass earlier this month.

For the uninitiated, starting September 12th, the price for Game Pass Ultimate will increase to $19.99 per month, up from the current $16.99. Additionally, the cost of PC Game Pass will rise to $11.99 per month.

Get a head start on the Modern Warfare 3 campaign before its official release on November 10, 2023.

Microsoft also plans to introduce a new Xbox Game Pass “Standard” option for new members, which will not include access to day-one games but will feature online multiplayer.

Modern Warfare III isn’t the highest-rated Call of Duty title out there, receiving heavy criticism from fans of the franchise for its extremely short campaign as well as its multiplayer mode.  Despite these critiques, its addition to the Xbox Game Pass offers some justification for the upcoming price increases.
