How to Get Free Units in Marvel Rivals Times Square
Following the Season 6.5 update, there are two events that you can participate in to get a total of 200 free Units in Marvel Rivals.
Love on Parade
The first one is the “Love on Parade” event, which will run until March 5, 2026, in Times Square and will give out 100 free Units to anyone who participates.
To claim your free Units, you first have to load into the Times Square map and find the white carriage that’s circling around the streets.
Once you see the carriage, you’ll need to hop inside and then board the carriage by pressing ‘T’ when prompted.
Note that if you do not board the carriage, you will be unable to redeem your free Units via this event.
Also, there’s a bug in the event where, if you’re playing Elsa Bloodstone, the newest Marvel Rivals character, you’ll be unable to board the carriage.
Once you board the carriage with any of the other heroes, you’ll automatically receive 100 free Units in Marvel Rivals.
Lion Dance
Starting February 15, 4 pm UTC, players will be able to claim another set of 100 free Units in Marvel Rivals by participating in the “Lion Dance” event. You can find the stage for the show set up right next to Jeff’s Lemonade Stand, where you’ll have to get up and interact with the massive drum to get 100 free Units. Players will be able to claim the units from the Lion Dance show up until February 22 at 4 pm UTC.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get free Units in the Marvel Rivals Times Square map.
In the fast-moving world of Indian esports, where rosters change overnight and careers fade in a season, Omega stands tall as a rare constant. Known in real life as Sahil Jakhar, Omega has been part of the competitive battleground since the early days of PUBG Mobile in India.
While many players disappeared after the initial boom, bans, and resets, Omega adapted, rebuilt, and returned stronger each time. His journey is not just about trophies; it’s about resilience, leadership, and longevity in BGMI esports.
Early Days: The Foundation of a Leader
Coming from an army-connected family, Omega experienced frequent relocations during childhood. Moving cities meant making new friends often, and that naturally shaped his adaptability and communication skills.
From playful group banter to leading friend circles in games, his leadership qualities started forming early. Gaming, especially PC titles, was already a passion. But everything changed when a friend introduced him to PUBG Mobile.
What began as casual fun soon turned serious. After participating in an early tournament and failing to qualify for finals, Omega realized something important — talent needs structure. He decided to build a proper competitive team.
The Breakthrough: PMIS 2019 and Recognition
Omega formed Team Maximus Alpha and qualified for the Grand Finals of PUBG Mobile India Series 2019, finishing at #7.
That finish was not just a placement; it was validation. It proved he belonged in professional esports.
Soon after, he competed in PMCO 2019 Spring Split: India and later joined Team iNSANE, where he continued climbing the competitive ladder. With improved devices and stronger infrastructure, his performance level rose significantly.
His stint with 8-Bit during the PMCO Fall Split 2020: Wildcard showcased his dominance internationally. Although the team finished third and narrowly missed global qualification, Omega had proven he could compete against Asia’s best.
The Ban Phase: A Test of Patience
Then came the PUBG Mobile ban in India.
Like many pros, Omega’s momentum was disrupted. When Battlegrounds Mobile India launched, the scene restarted — but rebuilding consistency took time. He transitioned through teams, including Chemin Esports, maintaining podium finishes while waiting for the right breakthrough.
This period separated temporary stars from true competitors. Omega chose growth over frustration.
The Team Soul Era: Legacy Reborn
After BGIS 2021, Team Soul rebuilt its roster from scratch and handed Omega the leadership responsibility.
It was a high-pressure moment. Soul carried massive expectations.
Omega delivered.
Under his captaincy, Team Soul clinched multiple podium finishes and won BMPS Season 1. That victory secured them a spot at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022, where Omega represented India internationally.
For a player who started from grassroots tournaments, this was the dream realized.
Setbacks, Roster Breaks & Reinvention
But esports never stays stable.
Performance dips in tournaments like Skyesports Championship 5.0 and BMPS 2023 led to roster changes. Omega and his squad eventually moved to Carnival Gaming. Though they qualified for finals consistently, trophies became harder to secure.
Internal disputes during BGMS 2024 led to another major roster split. For many players, this could have been the end of relevance.
Not for Omega.
He worked on himself, rebuilt again, and joined K9 Esports. Soon, podium finishes in ESL SPS S6, iQOO Battlegrounds Series, and BMSD 2025 followed. Then came redemption — dominating and winning BGMS Season 4 after missing the previous edition.
The cycle had come full circle.
Present Form: BGIS 2026 and Beyond
Now, as BGIS 2026 unfolds, Omega appears sharper than ever. Even after moderate performances in BMIC 2025 and CEGC 2025, internal issues, and another team reset, he once again rebuilt his lineup.
And the impact is visible.
Omega’s story proves one thing: eras may end, but true competitors endure. In a scene where “era khatam, player khatam” often becomes reality, Omega breaks the narrative.
He has fallen multiple times. Each time, he returned stronger.
India has already seen him represent the nation globally. Now the bigger goal remains — establishing India again as a dominant global BGMI region.
One of India’s most feared entry fraggers and BGIS 2021 MVP, Suraj “Neyoo” Mujumdar, has officially announced his retirement from BGMI esports. The 25-year-old veteran, who started his competitive journey in 2019, represented top organizations like TSM Entity and Godlike Esports. He also represented India at the prestigious PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021. His retirement marks the end of an era in the BGMI competitive scene.
Neyoo Retires from BGMI Esports
On Friday, 13 February 2026, Neyoo officially announced his retirement from professional BGMI esports. In an emotional statement, he shared that he had been away from competitive gaming for over a year.
“Hey everyone, It has been over a year since I stepped away from professional gaming. The journey had started to feel overwhelming and stressful for me. I know I told many of you several times that I would make a comeback, but deep down I never found the confidence to return. Perhaps I became too comfortable with life outside the competitive scene. Today, I want to officially announce my retirement from esports, so that no one continues to hold on to the hope of seeing me compete professionally again.”
He also reflected on his journey and thanked fans and former teammates for their support.
“From the moment I began in 2019 as a small player to being recognized and supported by all of you, it has truly been a beautiful journey. The love you showed me and the honor of being called ‘the best entry fragger of India’ is something I will carry in my heart forever. I will never forget my time with TSM Entity alongside ClutchGod, Jonathan, Zgod, and Ghatak. Those days, the championships, and the pride of representing India on the international stage are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. Winning together again and again felt like a part of who I was. I sincerely wish nothing but success and many more trophies for all my former teammates. I sign off with gratitude, unforgettable memories, and a legacy that I will always be proud of. Thank you for everything.”
Neyoo began his esports journey in 2019 and quickly made a name for himself as one of the most aggressive and consistent entry fraggers in India. His ability to open fights and secure early advantages made him a key asset for every team he represented.
Throughout his PUBG Mobile and BGMI career, Neyoo won several major tournaments, including:
PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Fall Split: South Asia
PUBG Mobile India Series 2020
Skyesports Championship 3.0
Ranbhoomi Season 1
LOCO War of Glory: Grand Finals
OneShot Showdown Season 2 Grand Finals
He was also crowned MVP of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021, one of the biggest achievements of his career.
After leaving Godlike Esports in 2024, Neyoo shifted his focus to content creation. He is currently part of Madkings as a content creator, where he continues to stay connected with his fans.
While he may no longer compete professionally, his impact on BGMI esports will always be remembered. From dominating entry frags to representing India on the global stage, Neyoo leaves behind a legacy that inspired a generation of players.
His retirement truly marks the end of a golden chapter in Indian BGMI esports.
Team Vitality is officially back in Fortnite, and it is not quietly reintegrating itself. The French giant has reassembled its squad around a show-stopping power couple, signing Egor “SwizzY” Luciko and Aleksa “Queasy” Cvetkovic, who just won the world title at the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship with Merstach. This marks the return of the organization to the battle royale from Epic Games three years after closing down its original Fortnite division in late 2022.
Vitality’s return is as much about legacy as it is about trophies. The organization was one of Europe’s preeminent brands during Fortnite’s early competitive days, putting out squads that consistently competed in FNCS and international competitions before a budget shift led to an exit from the game. However, with Fortnite reasserting its dominance on the global stage and set to make its second appearance at the Esports World Cup in 2026, Vitality is ready to immediately rejoin the upper echelon.
⚡ WE ARE BACK ⚡ Returning stronger to make Every Win Count
Securing SwizzY and Queasy is a declaration of intent. Both are known to be two of the best macro brains in the game, and their combined résumé boasts several FNCS championships and their magnum opus: hoisting the Global Championship trophy in 2025. This level of talent under the Vitality umbrella puts the French organisation right back in the running for every major LAN they participate in.
The announcement is also a direct challenge to their domestic rivals. French organisations such as Gentle Mates and Karmine Corp had taken advantage of Vitality’s absence to poach the best European talent, including SwizzY himself.
With a world-champion core, a rich organisational infrastructure in other FPS games, and the world’s attention focused on FNCS and the Esports World Cup looming on the horizon, Team Vitality’s return to Fortnite is no nostalgia-fueled comeback. It is an immediate challenge to reclaim their position at the pinnacle of the esports food chain.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) offers eight distinct battle royale maps, each with unique terrain, loot density, and gameplay dynamics. Understanding map characteristics helps players choose optimal landing zones, vehicles, and combat strategies for ranking up efficiently.
Large Maps in BGMI (8×8 km)
Erangel
Erangel remains the most popular map for competitive play and ranking. This 8×8 km map features a balanced mix of urban areas, open fields, and water bodies covering 48% of the total area. The map supports 100 players per match and offers strategic advantages for both aggressive and survival-focused playstyles.
Key locations include Pochinki, School, Georgopol, Sosnovka Military Base, and Mylta Power. The diverse terrain provides ample hiding spots, making it ideal for players prioritizing survival over kills.
Miramar
Miramar spans 8×8 km with desert terrain and the highest land coverage at 80%. This map features large urban centers like Pecado, Los Leones, and San Martin surrounded by rocky mountains. The western and northern boundaries are blocked by mountains and metal walls.
Roads are less vehicle-friendly compared to Erangel, forcing players to rely more on buildings for cover. Long-range weapons perform exceptionally well due to open sightlines across the desert landscape.
Rondo
Rondo is the newest 8×8 km addition featuring hybrid urban-nature terrain. This map combines modern cityscapes with natural elements, offering both close-quarters combat zones and long-range sniper positions. However, Rondo is not permitted in BGIS 2026 competitive matches, where only Erangel and Miramar are used.
Medium Maps in BGMI (4x-6x km)
Sanhok
This 4×4 km tropical island map delivers fast-paced gameplay with high loot density. The map comprises three islands separated by rivers, with numerous small and medium-sized towns positioned close together. Water covers approximately 50% of the total area.
Popular drop locations include Bootcamp, Paradise Resort, Camp Alpha, and Ruins. Dense foliage at 43% coverage enables effective stealth tactics and ambush strategies.
Vikendi
Vikendi measures 6×6 km with snow-covered terrain and distinctive landmarks. Water bodies comprise nearly 60% of the map area, creating multiple islands connected by bridges. Top loot spots include Cosmodrome, Castle, Villa, Dobro Mesto, and Cement Factory.
The snowy environment affects visibility and vehicle handling, requiring adapted gameplay strategies. Supply Shops were added to Vikendi in recent updates for mid-match equipment purchases.
Small Maps in BGMI (2×2 km)
Livik
Livik offers exceptionally fast matches on its 2×2 km Nordic terrain. Despite the compact size, the map features diverse environments including urban areas, snowy mountains, and a volcano. Exclusive items include Monster Trucks, P90 submachine guns, and MK12 assault rifles.
Prime locations are Shipyard, East Port, Blomster, Power Plant, and Midstein. The blue zone moves rapidly, typically ending matches within 15 minutes.
Karakin
Karakin presents 2×2 km of desert terrain without large mountains, featuring rocky hills and extensive underground tunnel systems. Key drop zones include Al Hayik, Bahr Sahir, Bashara, Al Habar, and Hadiqa Nemo.
Unique mechanics include the Demolition Zone (replacing the Red Zone), Sticky Bombs that destroy specific walls, and the Panzerfaust rocket launcher with a 6-meter blast radius. These features enable building destruction and creative tactical approaches.
Smallest Map in BGMI (1×1 km)
Nusa
Nusa is the smallest playable map at 1×1 km, featuring a tropical resort island. Matches last only eight minutes, delivering intense action from start to finish.
Distinctive features include Ziplines for rapid traversal, Elevators in hotel buildings, zorb balls, swimming pools, combustible structures, and destructible jars. The Tactical Crossbow allows players to ignite buildings and repair ziplines. This map suits players seeking quick, action-packed sessions.
Map Selection Strategy
For ranking up, Erangel remains the optimal choice due to its size advantage and survival opportunities. Smaller maps like Livik, Karakin, and Nusa suit players preferring aggressive gameplay with frequent combat encounters. Medium maps provide balanced experiences between survival duration and action intensity.
All maps except Erangel require separate downloads to manage storage space. Players can download maps through the matchmaking menu by clicking the download icon next to each map name.
Understanding each map’s terrain, loot distribution, and pace helps players adapt strategies, select appropriate weapons, and improve overall performance in BGMI.
Submachine guns (SMGs) are the backbone of close-range fights in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). They offer high fire rate, strong hip-fire, and good movement speed, making them ideal for hot drops, building pushes, and tight angles. With recent balance changes, the SMG meta has shifted heavily toward weapons like UMP45, Vector, and newer options like JS‑9.

What Makes an SMG Good? Stats That Actually Matter
When choosing an SMG in BGMI, focus on these key factors:
Base damage per shot – how hard a single bullet hits
Fire rate (RPM) – how fast it shoots, directly affects DPS
Magazine size – determines how many enemies you can fight per reload
Recoil and stability – ease of spray control under pressure
Ammo type – 9mm is common but weaker; .45 ACP hits harder but spawns less
Attachment support – scopes, grips, stocks make huge differences
Your real goal is DPS (damage per second) plus consistency. A slightly weaker gun you can control beats a “broken” gun you constantly miss with.
The UMP45 dominates the current meta because it balances everything: decent damage, manageable recoil, and works from close to short-mid range. After recent buffs, it’s become the top pick for ranked players who value consistency over flashy DPS.
Best use cases:
Ranked classic matches where stability matters more than raw speed
Pairing with long-range weapons (M416, Mini14, MK14) for balanced loadouts
Players who want reliable sprays without god-tier recoil control
Loadout tip: Run compensator + vertical grip + extended mag for laser-like accuracy.
MP5K
Key Stats: 33 damage | 900 RPM | 9mm | 30/40 mag
MP5K is considered one of the most stable and accurate SMGs with high fire rate but surprisingly low recoil. It supports all scopes up to 6x, making it work like a mini-AR.
The catch: Only available on Livik and Vikendi.
Best use cases:
Close-to-short-mid range fights on Vikendi and Livik
Players who want an “SMG that plays like an AR”
Competitive gameplay with precise pre-aim and jiggle peeks
The Uzi has the highest fire rate in BGMI, making its DPS insane despite low per-bullet damage. In close combat, if you hit your shots, nothing kills faster.
Weaknesses:
Only supports red dot and holo; no 3x/4x scopes
Falls off hard beyond 40 meters
Requires excellent crosshair placement
Best use cases:
Hot drops (Pochinki, School, Hospital, Resort) where fights are room-to-room
Vector combines high damage with extremely fast fire rate, making it one of the highest DPS SMGs. Low vertical recoil makes it easy to laser targets at close range, and unlike Uzi, it supports scopes up to 6x.
Critical weakness: Tiny 19-round base mag means you must find extended mag or you’ll run dry mid-fight.
Best use cases:
1v1 and 1v2 scenarios where you commit to clean sprays
Pushing staircases, compounds, and TDM head-glitch spots
Aggressive fraggers confident in their aim who want maximum burst damage
P90 combines strong close-range damage with 50-round capacity. Similar to Bizon but with better burst potential.
Best use cases:
TDM and indoor fights in warehouses, labs, compounds
Aggressive entry fragging when you need both DPS and sustained fire
JS-9 – New Meta Option
Key Stats: ~35 damage | High fire rate (850+ RPM) | 9mm | 30/40 mag
JS-9 is listed as A-tier in the 2025/26 meta, offering good damage with high RPM. It’s becoming a popular alternative to Vector for players who want high DPS with slightly better control.
Best use cases:
Replacement for Vector/Uzi when you want high DPS with more stability
Close-range entry fragging in squads and duos
Best Attachments for Submachine Gun in BGMI
Extended/Extended Quickdraw Mag:
Non-negotiable on Vector, Uzi, MP5K, UMP45
Tommy Gun/Bizon/P90 already have large mags but extended still helps
Muzzle:
Compensator: Best for pure recoil control (UMP45, MP5K, Vector)
Suppressor: Strong in ranked for stealth when you control recoil well
Foregrip:
Vertical grip: Reduces vertical recoil (great on UMP45, MP5K, Vector)
Half grip/Laser: Improves hip-fire and ADS speed for close fights
Stock/Tactical Stock:
If supported (Vector especially), grab it—noticeably stabilizes sprays
Scope Recommendations:
Red Dot/Holo: Default for nearly all SMG fights
2x/3x: UMP45, Vector, MP5K can handle these for 40-70m engagements
4x-6x: Only Vector/MP5K in niche situations; generally use ARs/DMRs instead+
Match your SMG to your playstyle, use proper attachments, and respect its effective range. Your close-range win rate will climb fast—whether you’re pushing Conqueror or surviving your next hot drop.
With only a few days remaining before the VCT 2026 Season Capsule hits the Valorant store, the melee skin included in the upcoming collection appears to have already leaked online.
While the full list of contents in the VCT 2026 Season Capsule still remains unclear, Valorant dataminers have already managed to uncover the melee skin that will likely be part of the upcoming collection.
Alongside the knife’s overall appearance, the variants of the new melee skin, as well as its animations, have also leaked online.
Without further ado, let’s check out all the latest leaks of the VCT 2026 Season Capsule melee.
VCT 2026 Season Capsule Melee Skin Leaks
According to the leaks, the VCT 2026 Season Capsule Melee skin is expected to include five different variants: Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, and White. Its animation is somewhat similar to some of the knives we’ve seen in the game before.
Prominent Valorant leaker ‘VALORANTLeaksEN’ has shared the animations and variants of the new melee in an X post.
Riot Games has yet to officially reveal the price of the upcoming VCT 2026 Season Capsule. However, based on similar bundles we’ve seen in the past, fans can expect the new Capsule to cost around 5,850 VP.
Popular singer and social media influencer Madison Beer’s request to be added to Fortnite as a skin has finally been addressed by Fortnite’s Design Director, following news of the request going viral on social media.
During her recent appearance on Hot Ones on February 12, Madison Beer revealed her affection towards Fortnite while voicing her opinions about the changes that the game has undergone as of late. Given that she is not the only one who doesn’t agree with the changes the developers are imposing, a part of the community related to her opinion before she concluded with a direct plea: “Give me a skin, please.”
Goes without saying that this was not an official request from the influencer, but more of an outburst of sarcasm, and it would have been wild had Fortnite given in to it; however, this did manage to garner the attention of the right people.
After Madison Beer’s interview got the attention of the Fortnite community on social media, Fortnite Design Director Ted Timmins responded with a quirky comment of his own on X. Neither did he agree to give her a skin in the game nor did he outright reject it, rather playing into the sarcasm, he said “I hope she likes the upcoming Season 2, some cool stuff in there for the OG’s to enjoy.”.
We can understand where Madison Beer is coming from, given Fortnite already has skins from singers like Sabrina Carpenter and influencers like iShowSpeed, but they didn’t get theirs before they managed to become chart toppers or global sensations. Only time can tell if EPIC chooses to bring Madison to their game, but as of now, it will lie on the pages of the internet without an ending.

The full list of teams attending Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta 2026 is officially confirmed after the conclusion of the final qualifiers, giving us the 16 teams who will be heading to the USA for the first big Counter-Strike 2 event of the year in North America.
Atlanta has established itself as one of the biggest events in North America and has positioned itself as a prestigious event, being part of the Intel Extreme Masters circuit. Set to kick off on May 11th and run until May 17th at the Georgia World Congress Centre in Atlanta, USA, the event will feature an eye-watering prize pool of $1,000,000, despite some big names choosing to skip it.
The likes of FURIA, Falcons, Spirit, and MOUZ will not be attending the event, but that doesn’t mean there is an absence of competition, especially with Vitality choosing to attend it. One can argue that ZyWoo will have an easy time in the USA, but there are enough teams to give them unexpected trouble, including but not limited to FaZe, NAVI, and Astralis.
Teams
Here is the confirmed list of teams competing at IEM Atlanta 2026:
Vitality
FaZe Clan
Natus Vincere
Astralis
FUT Esports
Team Liquid
B8
paiN Gaming
NRG
GamerLegion
M80
Legacy
BC.Game Esports
BetBoom Team
BET-M 33
Passion UA
It goes without saying that the team list would suggest only one team is the heavy favorite out of all, given their recent form. Vitality stands tall as the best team in the world, but closing in on them are FaZe and NAVI, who, despite struggling with poor form, have time till May to iron out the wrinkles in their team and cause a massive upset.
With the CS2 2026 season unfolding in style, we have Vitality continuing their domination from the year before, and it is easy to see why they are favorites, but staying the best is harder than becoming it, so time will tell if anyone can dethrone them or if they head into mid-season in solid form.
