How to Get Bonesy in Fortnite?

Bonesy is back in Fortnite as a Sidekick companion, and as a reward for loyal players, Epic Games is unlocking one of gaming’s most nostalgic cosmetics. Whether you’re an OG player who’s been around since Chapter 1 or jumping into the feature for the first time, here’s what you need to know to get Bonesy.

How to Get Bonesy in Fortnite?

If you have been with Fortnite since Chapter 1, Season 6 (2018), then you probably have the original Bonesy Back Bling in your locker. This is your golden ticket to claiming the Bonesy Sidekick absolutely for free. When the Sidekicks system launched on November 7, the Back Bling automatically converted into the new Sidekick companion. No grinding required, Epic transferred it to your account as a thank you to the community’s longest-standing members.

However, if you are new to Fortnite or just never got Bonesy the first time he was around, Sidekick is available in the Item Shop for 1,200 V-Bucks. For a cosmetic pet, that’s a reasonable investment, and casual players who want Bonesy to join their collection can afford to make it.

The real fun starts once you’ve acquired Bonesy. Fire up your Locker, open the Sidekicks tab, and start customizing. This is where strategic choices come into play. Certain traits, like body type, fur color, and ear style, are permanent once confirmed, so choose wisely. Accessories, however, remain flexible and can be swapped at any time.

The best part? Playing with Bonesy actively earns you Sidekick Points to use on exclusive accessories, outfits, and cosmetic upgrades. Having a Sidekick enabled also unlocks special quests with bonus rewards throughout the season, giving you even more reasons to keep your furry companion by your side.

Vitality Defeats MOUZ to Secure IEM Chengdu 2025 Grand Final Spot

After a nail-biting showdown, Vitality came out on top against MOUZ in the IEM Chengdu 2025 semi-finals, securing their spot in the Grand Final.

Here’s everything that went down across the BO3 series.

Map Veto

  • Vitality removed Ancient
  • MOUZ removed Dust 2
  • Vitality picked Nuke
  • MOUZ picked Train
  • Vitality removed Overpass
  • MOUZ removed Mirage
  • Inferno was left over

Map 1: Nuke (Pick: Vitality, Win: Vitality, Final Score: 16-13)

MOUZ kicked off the series on the right foot with a pistol-round win on the CT side of Nuke and followed it up with back-to-back round wins, securing four rounds in a row before conceding one. In fact, MOUZ managed to remain the dominant force throughout the first half, securing nine out of the twelve rounds as they headed into the weaker side of the map.

The T-side of Nuke started smoothly for MOUZ, but a series of missteps allowed Vitality to seize back control. After losing the pistol round, MOUZ managed to find themselves on the brink of victory by securing three rounds in a row, but Vitality weren’t giving up without a fight. The latter left no room for mistakes as they seized one round after another to eventually tie up the score, forcing overtime.

After not giving up a single round on their CT side of Overtime, Vitality managed to close out the game by getting a round on their T side, ending the first map of the series with a score of 16-13.

With a total of 30 kills and only 16 deaths, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was undoubtedly the star of the first map.

Map 2: Train (Pick: MOUZ, Win: MOUZ, Final Score: 13-11)

MOUZ once again got a head start with a pistol round win on the T-side of Train, but a force-buy from Vitality shut them down. MOUZ responded with a force-buy of their own and capitalized on the momentum to snatch a few rounds from their opposition. Vitality regained composure shortly afterward, getting seven rounds back-to-back to close the half with a strong lead of 8-4.

A pistol-round win on the CT side kept MOUZ in contention despite entering the second half at a disadvantage. While Vitality managed to secure their own buy-round, MOUZ had the stronger CT-side overall, closing out the game with a narrow 13-11 lead.

Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo topped the scoreboard of the second game with 19 kills and 14 deaths to his name.

Map 3: Inferno (Win: Vitality, Final Score: 13-10)

To call the final map of the BO3 a nail-biter would be an understatement. The rounds swung back and forth between both sides, as neither team was willing to give an inch.

Continuing the trend of the series, MOUZ once again secured the pistol round on the CT side but failed to build a decisive lead, as a force-buy from Vitality quickly shut them down. The half was pretty evenly contested, with both teams trading rounds back and forth, ultimately ending 6–6.

Vitality won their first pistol round in the BO3 on the CT side of Inferno, and capitalized on it to extend their lead to 9-6 before MOUZ could retaliate. A few consecutive round wins enabled the latter to steal the lead by 10-9, but Vitality adapted swiftly and reclaimed momentum to secure a 13–10 finish.

Robin “ropz” Kool stood out for his stellar performance on Inferno with 20 kills and 10 deaths.

How to Get the Aura Farming Emote in Fortnite?

Fortnite continues to do what it does best bringing in viral internet culture into the game. Young Black & Rich, better known as the Aura Farming dance, is an Icon Series emote that captures the viral sensation that took social media by storm in 2025. Now, players can perform confident and stylish moves right on the battle royale island.

The Young Black & Rich emote is a traversal Icon Series emote inspired by 11-year-old Indonesian dancer Rayyan Arkan Dikha. His viral, spontaneous dance during Indonesia’s traditional Pacu Jalur boat race in mid-2025 racked up millions of views across TikTok and led to recreations from NFL stars, Formula 1 racers, and professional football teams. The dance features smooth, rhythmic shoulder and arm movements with a composed, confident energy that the internet dubbed “aura farming,” Gen Z slang for effortlessly displaying charisma.

Since it’s a traversal emote, meaning you can move around the map while dancing, it really works for either celebrating an elimination or just vibing between rotations.

How to Obtain Aura Farming Emote in Fortnite?

The emote is now available in the Fortnite Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks or about $4 USD. You can find it under the Victory Vibes section next to popular dance emotes like Malamente, Attraction, and That’s So True.

The emote was released by Epic Games on November 7, 2025, at 12 AM UTC, and it will only be available until the November 10, 2025, Item Shop reset. That gives players just three days to buy before it rotates out.

There are two ways to unlock the Young Black & Rich emote:

  • Launch Fortnite, go to the Item Shop tab, scroll to Victory Vibes, and select the emote to purchase.
  • Go to fortnite.com/item-shop, sign in to your Epic Games account, and complete your purchase there.

It will automatically show up in your Locker on all platforms. After purchase, open your Locker, equip the emote in your emote wheel, and you are all set to display your aura on the island.
