New Marvel Rival Character Leaks Suggest Emma Frost Joining Roster

0

The Marvel Rivals community is buzzing with anticipation as new leaks have surfaced on social media forums that hint towards Emma Frost being added to the game’s roster.

Since the initial release of Marvel Rivals in December 2024, we’ve seen plenty of leaks surface on the internet attempting to uncover the upcoming characters to join the game. And while it hasn’t been long since the newest Marvel Rival heroes—The Thing and Human Torch—joined the hero pool, recent leaks suggest that the devs have a lot more planned for the game’s player base.

Dataminers have uncovered game files suggesting that Emma Frost will be added to the ever-expanding hero roster of Marvel Rivals in the near future.

Marvel Rivals Character Leaks: Emma Frost

As confirmed in a recent X (formerly Twitter) post by prominent leaker ‘X0XLEAK’, some unused voice lines have been found in the Marvel Rivals game files that clearly reference Emma Frost.

Wolverine and Psylocke’s newly discovered voice lines reference interactions with Emma Frost, including reactions to knocking her out or seeing her die. This strongly implies that she will be a playable character in Marvel Rivals in the near future.

The Emma Frost leaks contained three voice lines referencing the character from Wolverine alongside one from Psylocke.

Marvel Rivals Emma Frost Release Date

While the exact release date of Emma Frost in Marvel Rivals hasn’t been confirmed by NetEase at the time of writing, the earliest that fans can expect this new hero to land in the game is with the Season 2 update in April 2025.

Take-Two Confirms GTA 6 Release Window

0

Fans have flooded the internet with questions surrounding GTA 6 and after months of silence, developer Take-Two has confirmed a release that might help fans hold their horses. The gaming community has been alarmed by recent rumors that suggested a potential delay, but Take-Two has finally clarified the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6.

GTA 6 is arguably the most anticipated game of the decade and will likely break the internet when it launches. The hype surrounding a game of such magnitude is understandable but a series of delays and production hurdles have caused fans to worry.

When is GTA 6 Coming Out?

GTA 6 may cost $100

Since Rockstar does not have a PC version planned for the first release, PC gamers will have to wait longer. GTA 6 will be released only on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the autumn of 2025, which is between late September and early December.

GTA 6 will be bigger than any game Rockstar has released so far which gives them enough reason to take the release with utmost seriousness to avoid a CyberPunk situation. While the game won’t come to PC anytime soon, PS and Xbox can expect the game to arrive in the promised time.

How to Open the Secret Vault in Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 2?

0

Fortnite Chapter Six continues its tradition of concealed vaults, offering players a chance to uncover valuable loot. Season two introduces even more of these hidden stashes, including a new one at Outlaw Oasis.

This guide will walk you through the location and the method for accessing this secret treasure in Fortnite.

How to Open the Secret Vault in Fortnite?

Last season, players enjoyed discovering hidden riches scattered across the island. The grand vault beneath Nightshift Forest, accessible by gifting a Sprite to Bushranger, the subterranean cache at Magic Mosses, and the treasure chests concealed under Flooded Frogs, unlocked with the Void Mask, were just a few examples. While the Nightshift Forest vault is gone, the others remain, and now, Shifty Shafts and Outlaw Oasis join the list of locations harboring secret vaults.

How to Open the Secret Vault in Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 2

These vaults are goldmines, containing rare chests brimming with top-tier loot, Gold Bars, Slurp Barrels, and ammunition aplenty, ensuring you’re well-equipped for combat. Many also include a Port-A-Loo for a quick getaway when the storm closes in.

The Outlaw Oasis vault is tucked away in the southwest corner of the area. Head for the building adorned with wolf statues. Inside, you’ll find a room furnished with large bookcases, a marble table, and the three seated wolf statues.

The key to opening the vault lies in manipulating these statues. Interact with each wolf statue, rotating them until they all face forward. The left and right statues require a single turn, while the middle one needs two. Once all three face forward, break the rug beneath your feet. You’ll notice the floor section descending, revealing the hidden entrance.

Descend into the secret chamber to find three chests (one guaranteed to be rare), a wealth of Gold Bars ripe for mining, and a convenient escape toilet. For a faster loot grab, break the floor within the vault to quickly collect the Gold Bars. Load up and make your exit swiftly before another player stumbles upon your hidden treasure trove.

Mecha BREAK Outshines Marvel Rivals in Beta Launch

0

The mech combat game, Mecha BREAK, developed by Amazing Seasun Games, has generated significant buzz, outperforming Marvel Rivals on Steam this past weekend. The game’s Global Storm Open Beta, launched on February 23rd, propelled it to impressive heights, reaching a peak of over 300,000 concurrent players. This surge in participation positioned Mecha BREAK as the fourth most-played game on the platform, a notable achievement for a title still in beta.

This strong showing on Steam bodes well for the official release of this mech-focused combat simulator. The beta launch, coupled with a recent 23-minute preview video and a new beta trailer, clearly resonated with gamers eager to experience the game’s unique blend of mech action. Mecha BREAK not only surpassed Marvel Rivals in concurrent players but also briefly led in 24-hour peak player counts. Currently, it maintains its position as the fourth most popular game on Steam and tops the trending games list on SteamDB.

While the influx of players demonstrates considerable interest in Mecha BREAK, the beta release hasn’t been without its challenges. A wave of negative reviews has emerged, with many users citing bugs and other technical issues.

Although the developers have clearly labeled the release as a beta version, a number of players have expressed frustration with the problems they’ve encountered.

MOUZ Beats Falcons to Win PGL Cluj Napoca 2025

MOUZ is the winner of PGL Cluj Napoca, making it its first trophy of the 2025 season. With changes across the board MOUZ has come into its own and now has taken the shape of title challengers.

VETO

  • Falcons removed Inferno
  • MOUZ removed Anubis
  • Falcons picked Dust2
  • MOUZ picked Mirage
  • Falcons picked Nuke
  • MOUZ picked Ancient
  • Train was left over

Map 1: Dust2; Pick: Falcons ; Winner: MOUZ

The series started with both teams trading rounds before MOUZ could put together a few in their favor, which stopped the Falcons from securing rounds right from the get-go. After a close first half, MOUZ started catching momentum in the second half as the Falcons’ defense could not keep up with a T side that was tactically superior and came prepared for whatever the Falcons threw at them. Falcons managed only two rounds on the T side, as MOUZ closed the match with a dominant 13-6 scoreline.

Map 2: Mirage; Pick: MOUZ; Winner: Falcons

Following the beating on Dust 2, NiKo took charge of the game on Mirage, as he made mid almost impenetrable for MOUZ which was key for their offense. With NiKo hamstringing them in mid, Falcon players had an easy time to dominate on the defense as they walked into the second half with a 10-2 half. Moving onto the offense, MOUZ did manage to pull in a few rounds but it was all for naught as Falcons quickly closed the map winning 3 rounds in a row from the first gun round. The dominant scoreline from the first map was returned to MOUZ, as we headed to Nuke.

Map 3: Nuke; Pick: Falcons; Winner: MOUZ;

A brilliant start for MOUZ dominated Falcons for the entirety of the first half as swapping with a 9-3 scoreline left little room for Falcons to mount a comeback but moving over to the T-side, they met a rejuvenated Falcons with NiKo, TeSeS, and Degster taking charge as they started to mount a comeback. While Falcons managed to push the game to the final round of the regulation, poor performance from kyxsan and Magisk made it too difficult for the star trio to push the game over the line as MOUZ took their second map of the series.

Verdict

With the likes of Spirit and NAVI not taking part in PGL Cluj Napoca, one might argue that MOUZ might have had it easy but the way they have played makes it clear that they are here to stay and the top sides should watch out.

Asian Games 2026 welcomes Mobile Legends Bang Bang as a medal event

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has been named a medaled event at the 2026 Asian Games, announced the Olympic Council of Asia yesterday (22 February). MLBB’s selection marks the first time that MLBB will feature at the Asian Games.

The Asian Games is a multi-sport event—and the biggest sports competition in Asia—held every four years. Esports was introduced at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang in 2018 as a demonstration sport; it was later made a full medal sport at the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023. The 20th edition of the Asian Games will next take place in Nachi-Nagoya, Japan, from 19 September to 4 October 2026.

MLBB is one of the world’s most popular mobile esports titles and is the first esports event series in history to surpass 1 billion hours of watch time, according to Esports Charts. The award-winning mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game has more than 1.5 billion installations and 110 million active monthly users and is the current star game of global video game company, MOONTON Games.

Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, said: “MLBB’s inclusion at the 2026 Asian Games reflects its status as a premier mobile esport, known for its accessibility, strategic depth, and global appeal. This historic milestone not only validates MLBB’s impact on competitive gaming; it also reinforces MLBB’s role in uniting diverse communities through high-level play. We thank the Olympic Council of Asia committee for the honour of showcasing MLBB’s qualities on this prestigious stage and look forward to witnessing the Games’ top-tier competition that will inspire the next generation of esports athletes.”

MLBB will headline esports at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand in December 2025—the fourth consecutive time that MLBB is a medalled sport at the biennial multi-sporting event—where it will have both have men’s and women’s medalled competitions. MLBB holds the records as the most-watched esports event in SEA Games history for both the men’s and women’s categories; at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, the men’s category had 1,462,871 Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV) and the women’s category had 1,367,274 PCV, according to Esports Charts

Hanwha Life Esports Wins 2025 LCK Cup to Secure First Stand Spot

Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) clinched the LCK Cup 2025 title by defeating Gen.G in a thrilling 3-2 series. This victory not only marks a significant achievement for HLE but also secures their spot in the upcoming First Stand 2025 tournament.

The LCK Cup 2025 showcased intense competition among top South Korean League of Legends teams. HLE’s journey to the finals was challenging, facing formidable opponents like T1 and Dplus KIA in grueling five-game series. Their resilience and strategic prowess were evident throughout the tournament.

A standout in the finals was HLE’s top laner, Zeus. His exceptional performance, especially in the decisive matches, played a pivotal role in HLE’s success. Zeus’s champion versatility and in-game leadership were instrumental in outmaneuvering Gen.G. This triumph adds another accolade to Zeus’s career, following his previous regional victory with T1 in the LCK Spring 2022.

The final match was a rollercoaster of emotions. HLE secured the first game after a hard-fought battle, demonstrating precise macro decisions. Gen.G retaliated in the second game, with Ruler’s outstanding performance on Corki leading them to a swift victory. The third game saw Zeus’s Aatrox dominating the top lane, giving HLE a significant advantage. Gen.G equalized again in the fourth game, thanks to the mid-jungle duo of Chovy and Canyon executing a well-coordinated strategy. In the final game, Zeus’s Gwen proved decisive, leading HLE to secure the Ocean Soul and ultimately the championship.

With this victory, Hanwha Life Esports will represent the LCK at First Stand 2025, scheduled for March in Seoul. First Stand 2025 is the inaugural international League of Legends tournament of the year, featuring top teams from major regions. The tournament will utilize the Fearless Draft format, where teams cannot pick a champion they’ve already played in a series, adding a strategic layer to the competition.

The upcoming First Stand 2025 is set to take place from March 10th to 16th at LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea. This event will test teams’ adaptability and strategic depth, as the Fearless Draft format encourages diverse champion selections. Fans worldwide eagerly anticipate this tournament, expecting high-level play and innovative strategies.

Hanwha Life Esports’ recent performance has solidified their status as a formidable force in the League of Legends esports scene. Their LCK Cup 2025 victory not only brings prestige but also sets high expectations for their performance in international arenas. As they prepare for First Stand 2025, the team’s synergy and strategic depth will be crucial in facing other regional champions.

Trace Esports Knocked Out of Valorant Masters Bangkok by T1

0

T1 defeated Trace Esports, knocking them out of Valorant Masters Bangkok tournament. It was a BO3, but the series ended with only two won maps from the series being won by T1: Lotus and Haven. This loss makes Trace Esports eliminated from the tournament without having won any single map.

Match Overview

The first map played was Lotus, chosen by Trace Esports. Despite their confidence, T1 dominated this map winning with a decisive 13-3 scoreline. T1’s player iZu performed well, earned several multikills which boosted their lead.

After a solid performance on Lotus, T1 kept their advantage on the second map, Haven. They began with a 4-0 lead. Although Trace Esports tied the score at 6-6 by halftime, T1’s duo, Meteor and BuZz, played better after halftime. Together they helped T1 win 13-8 on Haven ending the series.

Before this elimination match, both teams suffered 2-0 losses in their opening games. Trace Esports lost to G2 Esports, while T1 ended with a close series against Team Vitality. After their loss T1 changed the roster: they removed Carpe and brought in Sylvan. Sylvan started as controller during the offseason and at the start of the Kickoff event but did not play in the last four matches. This change sought to improve T1’s lineup for the key match with Trace Esports.

Trace Esports chose Lotus for the map, a decision that raised doubts because T1 had never lost on this map during the Kickoff event. In a post match interview, T1’s in game leader, stax, thanked Trace Esports for their map choice naming Lotus one of their best maps. Trace’s head coach, destroyeR, said they picked Lotus because of wins in practice and the previous year. He blamed the loss on poor in game decisions rather than the map itself.

With this victory T1 avoids elimination and advances in the Swiss stage of the tournament. They will face one of the following teams in their next match: DRX, G2 Esports or the winner of the Sentinels vs. Team Liquid match. T1’s international runs ended in the group stage. One more win gives them the chance to reach the playoffs for the first time.

Trace Esports’ journey in the Valorant Masters Bangkok ends with this defeat. Despite their efforts they did not win a map during the tournament. This result may force the team to review their strategies and plans for future competitions.

The match between T1 and Trace Esports showed T1’s skill and ability to adapt, with good lineup switches and solid map control. As the tournament moves forward, T1 tries to keep this momentum to grab a historic playoff spot. Trace Esports will try to learn from this loss to boost their future play in competitive Valorant.
