How to Get Units in Marvel Rivals?

One of Marvel Rivals’ two primary currencies, Units, may be used to purchase a wide range of items for your characters. Units are the only form of currency in the game that can be obtained without real currencies being involved and are naturally hard to earn. In this article, we will discuss all the ways you can earn Units in Marvel Rivals.

As a game, Marvel Rivals is on the rise, and while it may not be a competitive game like Valorant or CS, it is quite fun to play, especially for Marvel fans. In-game characters are essentially heroes from the Marvel Universe, and each one of them has several skins that you can purchase with Units.

Here is how you can obtain units:

  • Completing achievement tracks
  • Finishing in-game events
  • Converting Lattice to Units
  • Completing Battle Pass missions

Goes without saying that converting Lattice to Unit is the easiest way to get Units, and Marvel Rivals offers a generous conversion ratio of $ 1=1 Lattice. 1 Lattice can be traded for 100 units, which, upon conversion, can be used to get anything you desire.

While Lattice may have a good conversion ratio, the price of most skins seems quite expensive considering the game market. Suffice it to say that the game offers a plethora of ways to get skins but not always the ones you desire.

More often than not, the game offers skins and bundles at a rebate, so waiting for the skins is one of the options worth considering. However, this is a long shot, given you do not know which bundle/skins will go at a discount price at what point.

As things stand, if you are in the market for a particular skin with a time constraint, getting Lattice is your only option or you can grind and wait till you have accumulated enough Units to buy the skins that you are looking to buy.

Vavle Releases VRS Update for March 2025

With qualification relying on VRS for tier-1 tournaments, Valve has wasted no time in updating the regional standings for the top sides. Following complaints by teams in the past, Valve has amended their policy as we get the VRS update only after tournaments conclude in the past month.

Several upcoming tier-1 tournaments are reliant on VRS to invite teams. Tier-1 tournaments like BLAST Rivals and PGL Astana are to take into account the VRS for March, given their kick-off in April, and having the updated VRS confirms the list of teams who are bound to get a spot in the aforementioned competitions.

The upcoming months will have little room for the teams to get some practice time, given the jam-packed tournament schedules. Having the VRS update early on not only helps the organizers, but teams can have a fair idea of which ones to skip beforehand to keep their minds and playbook fresh for the coming months of competitive Counter-Strike.

VRS For March

  1. Spirit – 1963
  2. Vitality – 1939
  3. The MongolZ – 1885
  4. MOUZ – 1874
  5. FaZe – 1839
  6. Falcons – 1830
  7. Eternal Fire – 1809
  8. G2 – 1781
  9. Natus Vincere – 1751
  10. Astralis – 1665
  11. paiN – 1539
  12. Virtus.pro – 1531
  13. GamerLegion – 1497
  14. 3DMAX – 1494
  15. Liquid – 1451
  16. FURIA – 1352
  17. BIG – 1274
  18. MIBR – 1264
  19. SAW – 1250
  20. Wildcard – 1238
  21. B8 – 1144
  22. HEROIC – 1140
  23. Complexity – 1092
  24. 500 – 1068
  25. Imperial – 1066
  26. BC.Game – 1057
  27. Partizan – 1052
  28. FlyQuest – 1047
  29. BLUEJAYS – 1041
  30. BetBoom – 1041

Tournaments to consider VRS of March 2025

BLAST Rivals Season 1

  • Four spots by Global VRS
  • One wildcard invite each for NA, EU, SA, and Asia

PGL Astana

  • 12 spots by Global VRS
  • One qualifier each from NA, EU, S,A and Asia

CCT Global Finals

  • Six spots by Europe VRS
  • One spot by NA VRS
  • One spot by SA VRS

MESA Nomadic Masters

  • Two spots by Europe VRS
  • Two spots by Asia VRS
  • Two from the Europe qualifier
  • One from Asian qualifier
  • One from MESA League Season 4

No surprises with the ratings as Team Spirit came into 2025 as the best team powered by their superstar in donk, and they have already picked up a trophy at the Blast Bounty, cementing their place at the top following a stellar Major victory in 2024.

Vitality had challenged for most of the tournaments in 2024 and has continued to do so following the addition of ropz, and winning Katowice in 2025 over Spirit has put them in second place.

The rest of the teams with their high standings in recent tournaments have their place in the list on a pro-rata basis, and this will continue to get updated as we come across more and more tournaments. As for the VRS for March, IEM Katowice and PGL Cluj-Napoca have been the two most important factors, while EPL Season 21 and Blast Lisbon will decide the VRS for April.

ESL Pro League Stage 1 Round 4 Matchups Finalized

Following the introduction of the two-staged system in the ESL Pro League, the conclusion of Round 3 has yielded the matches for Round 4, and winners of this stage will progress into the final round of Stage 1.

ESL Pro League is arguably the longest-running tournament in tier-1 CS, given the sheer number of matches it houses. Having an extended format gives teams a handful of opportunities to make it to the next stage, and the implementation of the Swiss format levels the playing field by reducing the luck factor introduced by randomized grouping.

Given that the Pro League will feature a plethora of matches, it is obvious that some teams will have a better fate than others. While there have been some upsets so far in the tournament, the final two rounds of Stage 1 will determine who goes through.

Tournament So Far

sAw and GamerLegion are the only teams that had a perfect record going into Stage 1, and now, with the conclusion of Round 3, they are in the next stage of the tournament. Both teams faced serious challenges coming into the event, but they overcame the likes of Furia and MIBR.

Image via HLTV

The teams with a 2-1 record boast quite a few dark horses who can beat anyone on their day, and it would be hard to assume MIBR, Eternal Fire, and 3DMAX would not make it out of the groups and onto the next stage. While a win here would see them through, they still have a match in their hand as a cushion if the teams fall to a 2-2 score.

Image via HLTV

In case you thought the teams with 2-1 scores were too good to be there, wait until you see the teams with 1-2 scorelines and are on the brink of elimination. HEROIC and FURIA are two of the biggest names coming into the event, they find themselves closer to elimination than qualification.

Stage 1 of the tournament produced quite a lot of interesting results, and while they will face much harder matches in the next stage of the tournament, some of the lesser-known teams are capable of causing upsets in the next round of the tournament.

Verdict

With two more rounds of Stage 1 left, the fate of every team besides sAw and GamerLegion is up in the air. While teams with 2-1 scores have some headroom for error, others find themselves two subsequent must-win matches away from making it to the next stage. With qualification on the line, we are bound to get two days of intense CS2 action.

Previously, many Overwatch esports tournaments have seen a huge viewer count with more than 100k concurrent viewers. It means Marvel Rivals can gain a massive audience once they jump into esports.

Apart from that, Marvel Rivals has got a few advantages. One of them is the iconic characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange in Marvel Rivals which has a separate fanbase around the world.

Also, Marvel Rivals has brought in “Team-Up Abilities”, where duos like Thor and Loki can combine powers for unique moves. In addition, Overwatch enforces role lock (2 DPS, 2 tanks, 2 supports), while Marvel Rivals keeps compositions flexible which can make players more creative with their abilities.

Fluxo Benches Nicks to Add Mlhzin to its Active CS2 Roster

Fluxo has officially announced the addition of Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola to their active roster while benching Nicks. Mlhzin was previously playing with MIBR Academy for more than one year. With the Academy team, Mlhzin has played in several tournaments with a decent rating.

Previously, the Brazilian CS2 team changed its roster two months ago when they added Allan “history” Lawrenz to its active roster by benching Romeu “zevy” Rocco. Even though Fluxo didn’t qualify for IEM Dallas which is definitely a setback for the team, by changing the roster they are looking for another comeback.

Internally we understood that we needed another aggressive player in the squad so that we could seek our best version in the game. I would like to thank @nicksfps
for the time we spent together here at Fx. The kind of player who is the first to arrive and the last to leave on a daily basis, does what needs to be done and seeks to improve at all times. Unfortunately, we didn’t find the ideal fit, but I will always be rooting for you.

Marcos “tacitus” Castilho, Fluxo Head Coach

The head coach explained that they needed another aggressive player to extract the full potential of the team and that’s the reason for signing Mlhzin.

In BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, Fluxo managed to get into one of the American RMR contenders. However, they got eliminated by a 0-3 score against the other heavyweights. It was a tough time for the Brazilian team and now they are trying again to get back in the competition.

Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola started his career with GODSENT and later joined the MIBR Academy in the previous year. While, Nicollas “nicks” Polonio joined Fluxo in May 2024 and during his tenure, Fluxo won a few tournaments such as CCT SA and others. However, the head coach is now bullish with the new 19-year-old signing.

Right now the Fluxo team looks like this:

  • Andrei “arT” Piovezan
  • Kayke “kye” Bertolucci
  • Allan “history” Lawrenz
  • Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa
  • Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola
  • Marcos “tacitus” Castilho (coach)
  • Romeu “zevy” Rocco (benched)
  • Nicollas “nicks” Polonio (benched)

What’s your take on the new addition to Fluxo’s CS2 roster? Let us know in the comment section below.

Glass vs Metal PC Cabinets: Aesthetics or a Practical Choice?

A PC case selection goes beyond component storage to become a fundamental decision that determines system execution and design quality. If you are a gamer building a  PC in 2025, you will face essential dilemmas choosing between metal cases and tempered glass cases because these options bring both favorable and unfavorable features.

But, glass cabinets?

Yup! Physically fortified glass serves as a primary case option for modern personal computer build aesthetics. The transparent display of the internals of the PC allows others to admire the expensive internal components that probably include RGB components and a terribly underpowered GPU (because you probably spent all your money on the case). The unique open-view design transforms the PC into a visual showpiece which lets users display their work of art and precisely chosen components’ finesse.

And in case you don’t want to shell out a lot of money on the latest GPUs from Nvidia, then here’s a list of the latest and budget-oriented GPUs that have amazing performance!

pc glass cabinet

But, here’s the catch. The visual advantages of glass panels contradict its important practical purpose, which means the addition of weight from the glass increases system mass thus making transportation of PCs difficult. Moreover, the tempered nature of glass does not stop it from breaking under adequate force. Any unwarranted impacts combined with improper hand movements to the glass can break it down and force purchasers to pay for a new cabinet again. Regular cleaning becomes essential to preserve the glass surface’s unmarked appearance because fingerprints along with smudges easily appear on the glass guess who touched the PC while eating chicken nuggets?

Metal – a more conventional PC cabinet material

Metal, particularly steel, offers a robust and durable alternative. Metal cases grant maximum protection to internal components while defending against both unintended hits and usual system deterioration. Metal proves to be an optimal choice because of its durable nature which users prefer for long-term reliability.

pc metal cabinet

Metal cases provide better airflow features due to mesh panels and ventilation systems installed on them. This design facilitates efficient heat dissipation, crucial for maintaining optimal performance under heavy workloads. Because of its innate strength, metal enables adaptive internal design configurations that support different electronic component shapes and dimensions.

However, there is a lack of visual glamour in metal cases but unlike the glass counterparts, it does not hinder their products’  design flexibility. Manufacturers make metal cases in multiple sleek finishes which address multiple aesthetic choices of customers. Metal cases allow users to personalize their appearance through paint jobs that include decals.

So, which one should you choose, Aesthetics vs Practical

Ultimately, this decision we believe is based on individual preferences that the owner may possess. Let us explain a bit more.

If you are a visual enthusiast

If someone prefers to display their setups through attractive faces, then you should choose tempered glass cases. The suitable environment for these products exists in static setups designed to minimize contact risks. But remember that you also need to understand the higher demands for upkeep which will be required to maintain the cleanliness of glass panels.

If you are a practical, pragmatic user

Metal cases offer users the best combination of durability alongside reliability alongside superior airflow functions. Metal cases should be used by people who need portable systems or systems under heavy mechanical stress.

Metal cases provide users with both practical features and understated design elements.

Online gaming forums express varied opinions when discussing their choice of case materials. The different opinions on glass originate from how it creates a beautiful visual impression but at the same time, they also acknowledge the benefits of metal based on practical usage and what else it brings to the table.

The selection of an ideal PC case must satisfy both major criteria of user needs alongside aesthetic preferences. The process of making informed choices between appearance or durability results in a functional gaming PC build that will probably look amazing (even if you are a terrible player)!
