The winning team will represent India at the WCS Finals 2026 in San Francisco, where a massive $500,000 prize pool will be up for grabs. This makes the Pokémon UNITE WCS 2026 India Qualifier one of the most important mobile esports tournaments in India this year.

Registrations and format details

Registrations for the Pokémon UNITE India Qualifier 2026 are currently open and will close on April 22. Teams consisting of five to six players can sign up for the competition. Players without a team can also find teammates through the Skyesports Pokémon UNITE Discord server.

India’s growing presence in Pokémon UNITE esports

India has consistently been part of the Pokémon UNITE World Championship Finals since 2022. Teams like Revenant Esports, FS Esports, and S8UL have represented the country on the international stage over the years.

This qualifier once again provides a clear path for Indian teams to go from open competition to the global arena, highlighting the steady growth of Pokémon UNITE esports India and the overall Indian esports ecosystem.

Commenting on the tournament, Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO, Skyesports, said, “Pokémon UNITE continues to give Indian players a direct pathway to the global stage, and that is what makes this tournament so important. The 2026 edition will mark the fifth time an Indian team has earned the opportunity to compete in the World Championship Series, which reflects both the consistency of the ecosystem and the hunger of our players to perform internationally.
