Indian mobile gaming is rising and there is no looking back now. Yes you heard it right, mobile gaming in India is the new meta and the major reason is the recognition from the Indian Government. Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India spoke about the importance of Indian gaming for the country.

This is not the first time, PM Modi has talked about the gaming industry and its impact on the country. But this time it’s way too positive for the community. While addressing the nation, he said “Today in India, Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic is a developing market. India is in the top five countries in the mobile gaming industry and in the coming two years, this sector will reach more than 3 lakh crore INR valuation.”

“We know that today’s parents are unable to stop their children from playing mobile games. But we should make sure that these kids play the games developed by the Indian companies rather than the international countries. This is the reason, the AVGC task force is formed to innovate in the field of the gaming industry. We aim to make India a global gaming hub.”

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced a special task force aimed to promote the animation, visual effects, comic, and gaming (AVGC) industry in India.

This unit will focus on uplifting the talents residing in these fields, who will eventually cater to the global market given how referring to the “AVGC” industry has seen immense growth in the past few years.
