The First Day of Valorant Masters Copenhagen kickoff Today at 13:00 GMT

Valorant Masters Copenhagen

The second International tournament of the year, The Valorant Champions Tour Masters Copenhagen, is all set to kick off today, with DRX taking on Northeption in the event’s first group stage match.

The last international event before the champions would be a test for the teams to prove themselves on the international grounds and gather as many points as possible to cement their position in the Valorant Champions.

The VCT Masters Copenhagen would be 14 days long, and you can read about the details team here.

The schedule for day 1 of VCT Masters Copenhagen:

  • July 10, 13:00 GMT Group B: DRX vs. Northeption
  • July 10, 16:00 GMT Group A: LOUD vs. KRU Esports
  • July 10, 19:00 GMT Group A: Guild Esports vs. Optic Gaming

The inaugural games of the event start with an Asian brawl with Koreans taking on the Japanese. At the last masters, the Japanese Zeta Division halted DRX’s winning run by eliminating them. DRX would obviously want to exact revenge on their Japanese counterparts.

Coming into the event, DRX has been unbeatable and has won the VCT Korea Challengers without dropping a single map. While the debutant Northeption managed to upset the Japanese kings of Zeta to qualify for the Masters’ event.

The battle of two strategically good teams would be one of the best games to start the event.

The next match is a classic South American brawl with LATAM’s KRU esports will be taking on Brazilian gods LOUD, the only other team to win their region’s challengers without dropping a single map.

The LOUD and KRU, both teams, are mechanically talented teams and are strategically solid, and the winner would be decided on who reads their opponent better.

The final game of the evening would be an EU-NA matchup with the second seed of NA and the defending champions Optic Gaming taking on the third seeds of EMEA Guild Esports.

Optic Gaming obviously would wanna continue their winning ways while Guild is here to prove that they are here to win and stay.
