How to Sabotage Payphones in Fortnite?

0

Need to sabotage some payphones in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2? You’re not alone. Plenty of quests, like those for Valentina and Skillet, require you to mess with these old-school devices. The good news is, that you don’t have to search far and wide. All three payphones are conveniently located in one spot.

Forget trekking across the map. These ringing relics are all found at Outlaw Oasis, the same swanky spa where you can team up with Valentina. This POI, a sprawling complex of modern buildings and hot springs, sits on the west side of the map. If you’re lost, head west of Crime City, and you can’t miss it.

How to Sabotage Payphones in Fortnite?

So, where are these payphones hiding within Outlaw Oasis? The first one is easy to spot – it’s right by the main entrance. Another payphone is tucked around the corner of the tallest building towards the back of the POI. And the third one? It’s attached to the building on the left that overlooks the central hot springs.

Sabotaging these phones is a breeze. Just stroll up to the ringing device and interact with it. Unsabotaged payphones will not only ring as you approach but also sport a glowing white aura. Plus, handy white exclamation marks pop up on your minimap, making them even easier to pinpoint.

A word of caution, though. When you sabotage a payphone, your character goes through a short animation, during which you’re stuck in place. This makes you a sitting duck for any rival players who also landed at Outlaw Oasis, so be prepared for a potential firefight.

Fortnite’s Hidden Wolf Pack Quest: How to Complete Join the Wolf Pack Quest?

0

Fortnite’s Chapter 6, Season 2 is packed with secrets, and players are still uncovering them. Following the trend of hidden mechanics and Easter eggs, this season features a particularly elusive quest called “Join the Wolf Pack.”

It’s so well-hidden that many players likely haven’t stumbled upon it yet, primarily because of its very specific trigger.

How to Complete Join the Wolf Pack Quest?

This isn’t your average challenge. “Join the Wolf Pack” is a cleverly concealed Easter egg that requires players to wear a wolf-themed skin and visit the massive wolf-shaped mountain located at Predator Peak, just south of Crime City. Only by visiting this landmark while sporting a wolf skin will you activate the quest and hear a distinct howling sound effect, marking its completion.

The key here is the skin. You can’t just wander up to the wolf mountain. You must be wearing one of the designated wolf skins for the quest to even appear, let alone complete. Simply visiting the location with any other cosmetic won’t do the trick.

Currently, the following wolf skins are confirmed to work with the “Join the Wolf Pack” quest: Andy Fangerson, The Burning Wolf, Dire, Wendell, Ione, and Wolf.

While Fortnite has a history of secret quests, this one is unique. It doesn’t reward any XP. Instead, it offers a fun little surprise – the howling sound effect – that players can share with their squad. It’s a testament to the developers’ attention to detail and their desire to create immersive and surprising experiences within the game.

Team Fortress 2 Classic Set to Launch on Steam Soon

0

Team Fortress 2 Classic, the popular mod that resurrects the game’s early days, is making its way to Steam later this year. You can already add it to your wishlist.

This isn’t just a simple graphical overhaul. TF2 Classic goes deep, bringing back the Civilian class, reimagining classic weapons like the nail gun and dynamite pack, and even introducing entirely new ones like the tranquilizer gun. And forget the usual two-team setup – prepare for four-team mayhem in Arena, King of the Hill, and other modes, with yellow and green joining the fray.

The mod developers have painstakingly recreated the game’s beta aesthetic, restoring the toon-style shading and reintroducing cut content. They’ve also trimmed away many of the later additions to the game, opting for a purer, earlier TF2 experience. But it’s not all about nostalgia. TF2 Classic boasts improved textures, models, and mapping features, along with fresh content and exclusive game modes.

Combat gets a serious shake-up with new weapons and items. Think jump pads, flak cannons, and even the ability to wrap chains around your fists. The mod also embraces customization with extensive modding support, letting players tweak their game’s visuals and allowing servers to run custom weapon packs and maps.

The developers have been working on this labor of love for over a decade. “Beginning development in 2014 and formally releasing in July of 2020, Team Fortress 2 Classic has been worked on for over a decade now—almost certainly longer than you’ve been alive,” their Steam description playfully states. They also emphasize the constant work being done on content, balance, and bug fixes.

Since it’s a mod, you’ll need to own Team Fortress 2 to play TF2 Classic. Luckily, TF2 is free, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Brazil Seeks Public Opinion on Esports Regulation

0

Brazil is making moves to formalize its booming esports scene, launching a public consultation to shape its regulation. Until March 5th, anyone with an interest can weigh in on the future of competitive gaming in the country.

This initiative is being spearheaded by Giovanni Rocco, the National Secretary of Sports Betting and Economic Development of Sports. The goal is to establish a contemporary regulatory structure that incorporates best practices from around the globe.

Brazil’s esports market is already a giant. In 2023, it was estimated to have 25 million players, a number projected to surpass 33 million by 2028. The sport’s rising prominence was recently underscored when football superstar Neymar Jr. was announced as the President of FURIA’s Kings League Brazil team.

As the world’s fifth-largest esports market, Brazil wields considerable economic and social influence. The government’s proactive approach underscores its commitment to transparency and public engagement within this rapidly expanding sector.

This regulatory push comes amidst a broader shift in Brazil’s gambling landscape. Following the legalization of sports betting in late 2023, authorized wagering commenced at the beginning of 2025. The country is poised to become a major player in the global legal betting market.

Esports, with its appeal to younger demographics and its inherent excitement, is expected to draw significant betting interest. Licensed sportsbooks are likely to see substantial esports wagering activity, further integrating esports into Brazil’s evolving sports betting landscape.

Marvel Rivals 2103 Operation Frequency Too High Error: How to Fix?

Players of Marvel Rivals are unable to queue into the game due to an error code 2103, Operation Frequency Too High, and this error seems to be impacting a sizable player base across several servers located in North America, Asia, and Europe.

It is clear that the error is not limited to one platform as console players are reporting the same. Being unable to queue, Marvel Rivals’ active player count is going significantly without players finding a consistent fix and a few lucky players can queue without any errors.

NetEase employee rivals_james has acknowledged on the Rivals’ official Discord channel that resolving the issue is a “top priority” and that many gamers are having problems. Players of Marvel Rivals will have to wait for developer NetEase to update their servers to fully address the problem before they can queue once again.

Server outages are common in multiplayer games while it may be frustrating if you have been waiting the whole day to play the game just to find your plans foiled by some random server error, rest assured the developers will drop a patch ironing out the issue in no time.

How to Fix Micro Stuttering in Marvel Rivals?

Marvel Rivals is quite a demanding game but chances are, the micro stutters you are facing are a result of improper settings that are preventing the game from running at its best FPS.

In this article, we will highlight a few points that might help improve Marvel Rival‘s performance on your computers.

Update your graphics driver

Updating your driver may be a one-stop solution to a plethora of GPU-related problems. Given that the game is fairly recent, updating your driver will include GPU optimizations that might help the game perform better, and updating drivers is always an encouraged practice.

Fix GPU Settings

In the NVIDIA Control Panel select the following settings for Marvel Rivals under manage 3D Settings:

  • To switch your graphics card from Auto-detect to OpenGL rendering GPU, click on it.
  • Under the Power management mode options, choose “Prefer maximum performance.”
  • Scroll down to Texture Filtering Quality and select “High performance.”
  • Turn off the Vertical Sync option.

Disable Hardware Acceleration

While the developers have put this feature in the game to improve performance, several players have pointed out that it has been causing performance issues that are preventing the game from running optimally. To disable this, follow:

  • Launch the game’s settings.
  • After choosing System, select Display.
  • Select Graphics settings.
  • Switch off “Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

Fan Catches GTA 6 Release Date Hint

0

Given that Borderlands 4 has a release date, one fan has developed a plausible idea for when we could see the second trailer, possibly including a release date devised by the pattern in which Rockstar has previously dealt with releases.

While the developers recently assured us that there will be no delay in the release of GTA 6 for consoles, the second trailer has yet to be released, and all we are left with is one teaser that came out with the official announcement.

One fan noticed a pattern that Rockstar generally follows when releasing their games. Borderlands 4 recently got a new trailer and the game is still 7 months away so assuming GTA 6 launches in December, it would be safe to assume that we might get the second GTA 6 trailer by the end of March.

From what we know, this is just a pattern that has been noticed by fans with the release of Rockstar games and it doesn’t necessarily confirm a release window. While it is good to have high hopes, GTA 6 had its timeline altered several times so it is better to take any and all rumors with a grain of salt.
