Falcons Eliminates Eternal Fire to Reach PGL Cluj-Napoca Semi-finals

Falcons have taken down Eternal Fire in the PGL Cluj-Napoca quarter-finals as their freshly minted side has secured their first playoff victory having failed to do so on several occasions in past tournaments.

VETO

  • Eternal Fire removed Ancient
  • Falcons removed Anubis
  • Eternal Fire picked Train
  • Falcons picked Dust2
  • Falcons removed Inferno
  • Eternal Fire removed Mirage
  • Nuke was left over

Map 1: Train; Pick: Eternal Fire; Winner: Falcons

Starting strong, Eternal Fire lost control of the game as the Falcons pulled the momentum in their favor. The Falcons offense had NiKo firing on all cylinders along with a degster in supreme form, the pair managed to keep Eternal Fire on the back foot for most of the rounds. Swapping with an 8-4 scoreline, Eternal Fire leveled the score off the back of a pistol-round win and threatened to win it all before the Falcons managed to push it over the line with a close 13-11 scoreline.

Map 2: Dust 2; Pick: Falcons; Winner: Eternal Fire

A tough fight between the two teams managed to produce an impressive first half. Being inseparable for the first half, the Falcons managed to edge out a narrow lead putting the Falcons on the backfoot in their map pick. Despite a forcebuy win, Falcons got outclassed on their defense as Eternal Fire’s T side executed were too good for Falcons to stop, and having failed to secure a single gun round, Eternal Fire ran over the freshly minted side to win the map and level the series 1-1.

Map 3: Nuke Pick: Decider; Winner: Eternal Fire

Winning the pistol round, Falcons took charge of the game early on the first half as Eternal Fire got themselves tasked with playing the catch-up game. Though the Turks were able to keep up, the Falcons pulled ahead with a narrow lead of 2 rounds before swapping sides. Eternal Fire did try to fight back on the T side but along with NiKo, Magisk showed up, pulling off a massive performance on the offense that gave Falcons the buff to pull ahead later in the game, winning the map with a 13-8 scoreline.

Falcons are likely to face FaZe Clan in the semi-finals who are scheduled to play against sAw later today and are likely to be the ones making it through. For the second time this month, we will have NiKo against one of his former teams and this time he has a shot at beating them.

How to Equip and Change Moments in Fortnite?

0

Fortnite‘s newest update introduces a fun new way to personalize your gameplay experience. Now you can drop from the Battle Bus and celebrate your Victory Royale to the beat of your favorite tunes.

Music has become an integral part of Fortnite since Chapter Five, which brought us to the Fortnite Festival and integrated tracks throughout the game. While previously, listening to your music library was limited to the Lobby or through Emotes, this update changes the game.

This new feature, called “Moments,” arrives with Chapter Six, Season Two, and lets you customize those exciting entrances and triumphant wins. Here’s a quick guide on how to set them up:

How to Equip and Change Moments in Fortnite?

Moments offer another layer of personalization in Fortnite. It’s important to note, however, that these musical selections are for your ears only. Unlike Emotes or Jam Tracks, the songs you choose won’t be heard by other players, even those spectating you. So, while you can curate the perfect victory anthem for yourself, you won’t be able to broadcast it to your defeated foes.

Think of Moments like choosing your Lobby music—a personal preference that doesn’t affect other players.

Here’s how to equip and change your Moments:

  • Jump into a Battle Royale match.
  • Head to the “Locker” tab in the Lobby.
  • Scroll down to the “Moments” section, located near the bottom, just above Lego Kits.
  • Choose your preferred “Intro Music” and “Celebration Music.”

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Patch Notes: What’s New in the Update?

0

Fortnite’s latest season, Chapter 6 Season 2, has arrived, bringing with it a thrilling GTA-inspired theme. Get ready for a lawless experience filled with new map locations, explosive weaponry, and high-stakes heists. This breakdown covers all the key changes and additions in the Lawless patch notes.

Map Changes

While the overall map layout remains familiar, several key locations have been revamped to reflect the season’s theme of organized crime. These new landmarks add a layer of intrigue and danger to the Fortnite landscape:

  • Crime City
  • Outlaw Oasis
  • Shiny Shafts
  • Lonewolf Lair

Gold Rush and Black Markets

The entire map is now awash with gold-infused water, triggering a “Gold Rush” for players. Swing your pickaxe, demolish structures, and feel the surge of speed. Mine Gold Veins for Bars, but keep an eye out for Big Dill and his rapidly appreciating Dill Bits crypto. Snatch Dill Bits from vaults and spend them wisely at Black Markets. These shadowy hubs offer Mythic and Legendary loot, along with valuable Boons to enhance your heists. Just remember, discretion is key.

Weaponry and Modifications

Season 2 introduces a range of new weapons and modifications perfect for pulling off daring heists. The Thermite is your go-to for vault busting, with the Plasma Burst Laser and Rocket Drill joining the arsenal in the future. New weapons include the Collateral Damage Assault Rifle and Falcon Eye Sniper. The Outlaw Shotgun and Big Dill’s signature dual-wield Pump & Dump are also on the horizon. For close-quarters combat, the Kneecapper slows enemies while boosting your speed and jump height. And for a touch of mythical power, Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit grants you ice-wielding abilities.

Defense and Utility

New utility items like the Port-A-Cover and Pulse Scanner provide crucial defensive options and enemy detection, perfect for navigating chaotic heists. The Med-Mist Grenade offers quick healing, while the Gold Splash grants a Gold Rush effect and heals or shields you.

Boons

Fortnite’s Boon system expands with Season 2, offering persistent advantages that last throughout a match, even after elimination. The new Boons include:

  • Vulture: Reveals enemy elimination locations.
  • Gold Rush: Triggers Gold Rush when opening or destroying chests.
  • Adrenaline Rush: Grants the Slap effect upon mantling, hurdling, and wall jumping.
  • Gold Ammo: Provides ammo when picking up Bars.
  • Greed: Grants extra Bars from eliminations and containers.

Bosses and Medallions

Shogun X remains a formidable boss, now dropping the Super Shield Medallion, which provides a Shield Bubble when using healing items. A new boss, Fletcher Kane, has also arrived, his influence spreading across the map. Defeating Kane yields the Mythic Fletcher Kane’s Double Down Pistol and the Unstoppable Medallion, boosting sprint speed and enabling bash attacks.

Vehicles

Fletcher Kane’s presence is felt throughout the map, and his heavily guarded assets are ripe for the taking. Armored Transport Convoys patrol the roads, offering valuable loot but also fierce resistance. For the ultimate heist, target Fletcher’s armored train, a mobile fortress packed with riches. Be prepared for competition, though, as other players will likely try to muscle in on your score.

Lawless Battle Pass

The Lawless Battle Pass offers a range of criminal-themed Outfits and accessories. Earn XP to unlock free and premium rewards. The premium pass, available for 1,000 V-Bucks or through a Fortnite Crew membership, grants access to exclusive Outfits like The Enforcer, The Fugitive, and more.

The Battle Pass rewards include:

  • Cassidy Quinn
  • Joss
  • Fletcher Kane
  • Valentina
  • Big Dill
  • Keisha Cross
  • Mortal Kombat 3 Sub-Zero

The Outlaw Midas Outfit is a special quest reward available until May 2, 2025. Earn XP in any game mode to unlock this exclusive cosmetic.

Lynn Vision Completes CS2 Roster with C4LLM3SU3 Signing

0

Lynn Vision has officially confirmed the signing of Qihao “C4LLM3SU3” Su. This addition brings Lynn Vision back to a full five-player lineup following the departures of Jianye “afufu” Wang and Peiqi “flying” Song.

The team experienced roster instability throughout the latter half of the previous year, starting with the loss of Dongkai “Jee” Ji and Lizhi “Starry” Ye to TYLOO. While flying and afufu were brought in as replacements, their performance fell short of expectations.

These roster changes coincided with a dip in Lynn Vision’s competitive results, most notably their failure to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major. With Starry already back in the lineup, the addition of C4LLM3SU3 completes the team. The 20-year-old previously had a brief stint with Wildcard earlier in 2024.

C4LLM3SU3 has already contributed to Lynn Vision’s efforts in 2025. The team enjoyed a strong start in the ESL Challenger League and secured a spot at IEM Dallas 2025.

The Lynn Vision CS2 roster now consists of:

  • Zhe “Westmelon” Niu
  • Sike “z4kr” Zhang
  • Lizhi “Starry” Ye
  • Junjie “EmiliaQAQ” Tang
  • Qihao “C4LLM3SU3” Su
  • Yifei “GUM” Dai

ESL Unveils $11M CS2 Revenue Sharing Program

0

ESL has unveiled its revenue-sharing program for Counter-Strike 2 teams, pledging over $11 million annually for both 2025 and 2026. This initiative centers around the “CS2 Ecosystem Agreement,” a voluntary framework outlining the commitments and responsibilities of teams participating in this new revenue and profit-sharing model. Any team can join this program simply by signing and submitting the agreement to ESL, as it’s a non-exclusive arrangement.

The substantial $11 million annual investment is strategically allocated across three key areas. The largest portion, a significant $7.5 million, will be distributed throughout ESL’s seven events scheduled for 2025. This encompasses $3.7 million in traditional prize money and an additional $3.8 million through the Club Rewards program, available to all participating teams.

Furthermore, teams that commit to the Ecosystem Agreement will be eligible for the Annual Club Incentive, a year-end bonus totaling $2.95 million in 2025. This bonus is generated by ESL sharing 10% of its revenue and 25% of its profits from its top-tier events.

Finally, the Intel Grand Slam remains a separate opportunity, offering teams a chance to win $1 million by achieving victory in three EPT Masters events and one Championship event, such as Katowice or Cologne.

New Valorant Agent Teased in Masters Bangkok: What We Know So Far

0

Only a few weeks have passed since the release of Tejo, the newest Initiator to be added to the Valorant roster, and it seems that Riot Games is already winding up for the release of the next Valorant Agent.

For the uninitiated, the upcoming Valorant Agent 28 has already been teased by the devs, with their full reveal scheduled for the near future.

The initial leaks for the new Valorant Agent surfaced in the ‘Dawn of the Duelist’ cinematic for Masters Bangkok 2025. In the footage, Tejo is seen messaging who is presumably Agent 28, saying, “This crew has potential, but they’re not you. Stand by.”

Valorant Agent 28 To Be Revealed in Masters Bangkok

On February 18, Riot Games’ official X (formerly Twitter) account confirmed that they will unveil Agent 28 during Masters Bangkok.

Fans will be able to see the new Valorant Agent in action during the Masters Bangkok Showmatch, which is set to take place on March 2, 2025, just before the Grand Final of the prestigious event.

Valorant Agent 28 Details

At the time of writing, not much is known about the next Valorant Agent. However, the community speculates that Agent 28 might be a Duelist due to their connection to the ‘Dawn of the Duelist’ cinematic.

Additionally, the last three Agents introduced in Valorant were an Initiator, a Sentinel, and a Controller, making a Duelist the most likely candidate for the next release.

With that being said, nothing has been confirmed by Riot as of yet, so take this with a grain of salt.

Sony Fights Back Against Wrongful Termination Lawsuit

0

Former Bungie developer Christopher Barrett filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Sony last year and now the conglomerate has hit back in the court with claims of their own.

According to Sony’s filed filings, Barrett “attempted to create an unprofessional level of intimacy with his victims” and exchanged texts with female Bungie workers that “reveal his pattern of misconduct.”

Barrett holds firm on his claims that Sony fired him to avoid paying incentives of around $84 million that were “charged up” when Sony paid $3.7 billion to acquire Bungie. According to him, Sony’s claims have been drawn from instances from conversation that infer different meanings than what he originally intended to.

As things stand, Sony and Barrett are at a stalemate in court as we have no idea where is the lawsuit flowing. As we come across future hearings, we can get more insight as to how the lawsuit will shape and this might be a historic win if Barrett comes out ahead.

Update:

We received the following statement from the counsel of Christopher Barrett:

Sony continues to disingenuously cherry pick text messages and alleged conversations and make unsupported and conclusory statements to defame Christopher and justify terminating him to avoid paying him what he was owed under his employment agreements. It is telling that Sony does not include the full text messages as exhibits, or the full content of these conversations, and nothing in Sony’s response provides a legitimate legal or factual basis to terminate Christopher for cause. Christopher is confident that when all the evidence is presented, it will be clear that Sony engaged in a scheme to strip him of his role and the equity awards he earned for his 25 years of loyal service to the company.
