Here’s How Valorant Wasteland Vandal Might Be a ‘Pay to Lose’ Skin

Valorant being a free-to-play game, the in-game skin economy is the prime way for the developers to earn revenue off their title.

While the weapon skins don’t interfere with the actual gameplay, they generally come with visual effects that can often be considered “distracting” by many players.

While multiple instances of players considering some of the in-game skins to be “pay to win” have surfaced in the past, this time, it seems like the Wasteland Vandal might be a “pay to lose” skin.

As Reddit user u/zhoost has described in his post, the Wasteland Bundle Vandal skin has a longer weapon muzzle than its default (or any other) counterpart.

While the small difference in muzzle length may not seem to be concerning at first, it can easily cost you some crucial rounds in-game. For instance, when turning around corners, your enemies will be able to see your muzzle faster than usual.

In a fast-paced FPS title like Valorant, even the difference of a few seconds can easily be the deciding factor in a game.

While there’s a high possibility that Riot will fix this issue in a future update, a lot of players are opting to not use the Wasteland Vandal till then.
