OG Esports kicked off their PGL Antwerp Major RMR campaign, locking horns with a new look MOUZ, featuring Jon ‘JDC’ de Castro who recently replaced Nathan ‘NBK-‘ Schmitt on the active roster.

The match-up started with OG racking up a clean 3-0 lead on Mirage only to concede four rounds in quite a succession thanks to an entry by David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský who forced out an aggression positioning from Valdemar ‘valde’ Bjørn Vangså and giving up the B site.

Despite being on the backfoot, OG left no stone unturned in setting up their reinforcements to deny MOUZ pulling off the tricks from their playbook as Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong and his men were held up by the wrath from Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan who were phenomenal, notably on his 4-kill lockdown on the A-site.

OG had 10 rounds to their name in the first half before MOUZ valiantly tried to claw back into the game with the new man on the block, JDC holding the B-site to land yet another 4-kill round of the game, this time on OG.

What could have denied MOUZ the probable comeback would be the timeout drawn by Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isaković who seemingly sabotaged the momentum of their opponents, running away with the Best of 1, 16-12 and a 1-0 record at the European RMR A.
