HasanAbi stream taken down twice

HasanAbi involvement in politics has earned him a quite an audience on Twitch; with concurrent viewers peaking at 200K viewers on 6 January, his stream has been abruptly taken down twice, thus making him furious.

Hasan peaking 223,000 viewers on January 6 had his stream taken down when he was sharing his views on the violence and protesting witnessed at Capitol Hill.

The first takedown is what seemed to be an technical error, as his streaming software in OBS crashed an abruptly forcing him to reboot everything and take a fresh start. Having restarted the stream, the broadcast hit the ground running but was soon followed by another bizarre error.

After restarting his stream, he found it to be taken down yet again due to a mismatch of stream key between Twitch and OBS.

There is no way the stream key could have been altered unless he did it himself, or someone else have access to his account, with the later being the least likely.

Such was event will naturally shift the suspicion towards hackers but Hasan himself questioned their objective behind changing just the stream key.

“Changing my stream key is something that someone who does not have direct access to my account would be able to do if they were an admin over at Twitch,” “But if they had direct access to my account, they can literally do whatever the f**k they want.” said Hassan. He was clearly furious when saying “someone over at Twitch keeps changing my stream key.”

After all the struggle, he wasn’t able to track down what caused the issue, but he did raise his suspicion that some at Twitch is behind this. If that’s the case, it becomes all the more infuriating for him as Twitch will most likely deny any claims of their involvement.
