FURIA Esports on their Twitter has announced the addition of Paytyn “junior” Johnson to their roster. This roster move now stands confirmed after it was earlier reported by Ryan at Rush B Media.

The 20yo AWPer from Triumph will be filling in the void previously left by Henrique ‘HEN1’ Teles who was benched by the Brazilian Organization a week ago on mutual terms. Henrique has opted to play alongside his twin brother Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles under the project currently led by Raphael “cogu” Camargo.

After spending nine months with the North American Organization, Paytyn averaged with a 2.0 rating of 1.13. Recently he steered Triumph to a runner-up finish at the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America after they were sent packing by Chaos Esports Club led by Anthony “Vanity” Malaspina and his men. During the player break, Junior was seen grinding in the FPL to the core where he was applauded for his playstyle.

Upon joining FURIA, Junior Tweeted,

“Ever since @FURIA moved to NA, they’ve been my favorite team on & off the server. I’ve looked up to their lineup, raw skill, & supportive fans for a long time now. I couldn’t be happier to join them & make the Brazilian community proud!”

With this addition, FURIA Esports now has:

  • Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
  • Yuri “yuurih” Santos
  • Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
  • Andrei “arT” Piovezan
  • Paytyn “junior” Johnson
  • Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira (Head Coach)
  • Henrique “HEN1” Teles (benched)
