Unable to get past the mutated Harran Virus affected? You may need a grappling hook or a paraglider to make it to the checkpoints if you wish to avoid the heat on the ground.

Techland’s Survival Horror Dying Light 2 : Stay Human is finally out and is certainly one of the most anticipated video games of the year. A sequel to it’s predecessor Dying Light which came back in 2015, Stay Human brings a lot to the plate with the overall gameplay powered by action, horror and survival combat.

When compared to the first iteration, Dying Light 2 has 4 times larger map with tons of activities and areas to explore and this might be an uphill task while covering the same on foot with a dozen of zombie-infested locals.

Like the Grappling hook which allows you to make a huge leap between buildings and heights, Dying Light 2 has introduced the Paraglider which comes as a part among six Nightrunner tools that can be further unlocked in the game. Over 7 years in production, the developers have finally equipped us with a cheese mobility tool, the likes of which helped us to escape Volatiles and Night Hunters.

How to unlock Paraglider in Dying Light 2?

As the Paraglider is a part of Dying Light 2’s main campaign, you may be poised to unlock it at some point in the game. In a bid to unlock it, you would need to clear the “Let’s Waltz” main quest located in Old Villedor. Upon successfully clearing the latter, your character would need to get to the Central Loop for the main quest dubbed as the “A Place to Call Home“.

Once you are in Central Loop, you will link up with a new character named Lawan, a former Nightrunner of The City who will supply you with a Paraglider as part of the main quest. Upon getting the paraglider from Lawan, you would acquire full ownership of the item till the end of the game. Having a paraglider is a cherry on top of the cake as it would never break let alone to worry about the repair costs and won’t take up space in your inventory.

The Paraglider you would receive would need to be upgraded by locating the craftmaster on your map. It can be upgraded twice, consuming Old World Money and Military Tech every time you would opt to upgrade.
