FlipSid3 and Renegades were the two groups aligned for the opener of qualifier for the following major, ESL One Cologne 2016. Before the end of the match the CIS side were triumphant, 16 – 9 on Mirage, and hence ready to secure the better seed for the following round of play.

FlipSid3 got off to an awesome begin as they could win their T side gun round with An execute and tailed it up by ruling on both hostile to ecos. Rebels then put a count on their scoreboard on the primary firearm round, which they won neatly with an end goal to attempt and get themselves back in the diversion.

Renegades tied it up, 3 – 3, however FlipSid3 immediately countered by taking control of mid and overwhelming the CT side to recover the lead. The Australian group was at last ready to grab another round on the tenth to keep it at a focused 4 – 6, yet just quickly.

A 2 versus 3 after plant win by Yegor “markeloff” Markelov andAndrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy on the following round put the Ukranian side ahead 4 – 7, constraining Renegades on a twofold eco and decreasing their odds at taking the guide.

While Renegades could finish off the half by taking the last two rounds of the half, which finished 6 – 9, FlipSid3 packed away the second gun round of the guide and could cruise easily to triumph, 16 – 9, in spite of a last push by Renegades which was short of what was needed.
