The Game Awards 2020 just concluded and with it, this year’s biggest game was Naughty Dog’s “Last Of Us Part II”. Other than winning the Game of the Year, Last Of Us Part II also won several other big awards including best direction, narrative, action/adventure game, audio design, and voice performance by Laura Bailey. The Game Awards 2020 winners are here.

Other than Naughty Dog’s hit sequel stealing the spotlight, other big winners of the event were Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy VII Remake” for best score and music and RPG, SuperGiant’s “Hades” for best indie game and action game, and InnerSloth’s “Among Us” for best multiplayer game and mobile game.

With the threat of Coronavirus still looming around, Game Awards 2020 for the first time aired live from three in-studio locations in Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo, without any audience. The show also featured musical performances from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The show also invited several special guests for appearances including Hollywood stars like Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Keanu Reeves, Stephen A.
