What Is Night Queue Challenge In Valorant?

Riot Games drops a free limited-time event with exclusive Player Cards and a Spray for anyone willing to grind late-night games

Riot Games has introduced a brand new limited-time event in Valorant called Night Queue. This challenge gives players a chance to earn exclusive in-game cosmetics just by playing matches, teaming up with friends, and even creating short videos on TikTok.

The Night Queue challenge is live now and runs from March 4, 2026 to March 23, 2026. Here is everything you need to know about how the event works, what rewards are available, and how to sign up.

How to Sign Up for Valorant Night Queue Challenge

Before you can start earning points, you need to register for the event. Players must visit the For The Win (FTW) challenge platform and log in using their Riot Games account. Once signed up, all eligible match activity will count toward the event milestones.

The challenge officially started on March 4, 2026 at 12 PM GMT and will end on March 23, 2026 at 12 PM GMT.

Night Queue Has Two Stages

The event is divided into two separate stages, each with its own set of quests and rewards. Points earned in the first stage do not carry over to the second stage. Both stages require players to reach 500 points to unlock their respective rewards.

Stage 1: Warming Up (March 4 to March 14, 2026)

The first stage is called Warming Up and is designed to be accessible to all players. Points can be earned across all game modes except custom matches. Here are the quests available during this stage:

  • Win a match in any game mode: 1 point
  • Finish a match (loss) in any game mode: 1 point
  • Kills: Every kill during a match rewards 1 point
  • Credits: Every 10,000 credits spent earns 15 points
  • Better With Friends: Extra points for playing with friends in a pre-made lobby: 1 point
  • Express Yourself: Join the WINGMAN’s Corner creative challenge: 20 points

Reaching 500 points during the Warming Up stage unlocks the Hari Raya Homecoming Player Card.

Stage 2: Night Owl (March 14 to March 23, 2026)

The second stage is called Night Owl. It features harder challenges and is only available in Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Spike Rush modes. The quests for Night Owl are as follows:

  • Headshots: Get 15 or more headshots in a single match: 15 points
  • Spikes: Each spike planted or defused by the team: 5 points
  • Rounds Won: Every 10 rounds won: 15 points
  • Better With Friends: Extra points for playing with friends: 1 point
  • Express Yourself: Join the WINGMAN’s Corner creative challenge: 20 points

Earning 500 points in the Night Owl stage rewards the Last Round Before Dawn Player Card.

WINGMAN’s Corner Creative Challenge Explained

Beyond the in-game quests, players can also participate in the WINGMAN’s Corner creative challenge. This is a TikTok-based activity where players use the official WINGMAN effect filter on TikTok and submit their video through the FTW portal. The WINGMAN filter is inspired by Gekko’s in-game ability.

Players who submit a valid video and get approved will receive the AlarmBoi Out Spray as an additional reward. They will also earn 20 bonus points toward either milestone.

Here are the submission guidelines for the creative challenge:

  • Videos must be between 15 and 60 seconds long
  • Only one submission is allowed per participant
  • Only the applicant may appear in the video
  • No copyrighted music is allowed
  • No visible chats, Discord logs, or other messaging systems
  • No explicit, offensive, harmful, or hateful content

Submissions must be made through the FTW platform only. Entries sent through other methods will not be counted. Both the TikTok account and the submitted video must be publicly accessible for review.

All Night Queue Rewards

There are three exclusive rewards available during the Night Queue challenge:

  1. Hari Raya Homecoming Player Card (Warming Up milestone, 500 points)
  2. Last Round Before Dawn Player Card (Night Owl milestone, 500 points)
  3. AlarmBoi Out Spray (WINGMAN’s Corner creative challenge)

All earned rewards can be collected from the Rewards tab within the Profile section on the FTW challenge platform. Rewards will be unlocked up to 2 hours after a player reaches the required points.

Tiebreaker Rules

If two or more players end up with the same score in either milestone, the tiebreaker will be decided by their Average Combat Score (ACS).

Is Night Queue Worth Your Time?

The Warming Up stage is very easy to progress through since every kill, win, and even a loss earns points. Casual players can complete this milestone without much effort. The Night Owl stage is more skill-based and rewards players who land headshots and win rounds consistently.

For anyone already playing Valorant regularly, the Night Queue event is a simple way to pick up limited-time cosmetics without spending any money. The event runs until March 23, 2026, so there is still plenty of time to sign up and start earning points.
