Valorant is heading to the bubble tea counter as Riot is teaming up with The Alley, a popular German bubble tea chain, to sell two limited-edition drinks, one inspired by Viper and the other by Sage. Drawing inspiration from the popular Valorant agents, the themed bubble tea is set to be the first Valorant collaboration with the F&B industry.
Viper’s Sparkling Matcha Refresher
Viper is a Controller Agent, and her drink leans into her toxic look. It is a sparkling matcha with fresh cucumber slices arranged like green snake scales, a take on her Toxic Screen. It also contains low-calorie crystal boba and doubles down on the bitterness and aroma of matcha, which speaks to her toxic weapons and green-themed persona.
Sage’s Lavender Assam Milk Tea
Sage’s drink combines rich Assam milk tea with lavender milk, with the latter known for its calming properties, something that resonates with Sage’s personality. Long strips of brown sugar jelly are put through the cup in a dragon-inspired pattern, adding a soft, chewy texture and a light caramel sweetness. Next to Viper’s bitter matcha, it is the sweeter of the two, likely to be the more popular one.
Where and how to try them?
Both drinks are set to be available from September 24 to October 18, 2026, at six The Alley stores in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich, Kiel, Frankfurt, and Erfurt. That gives fans about three and a half weeks to try them. Reports suggest that the stores will be boasting a Valorant aesthetic to match the release of the drink.
Mixing food with gaming is a marketing tactic that reaches Valorant’s large player base and also puts the game in front of bubble tea fans who may not play it. It is becoming a familiar move, too. This year alone has brought an Umamusume vodka and a Pokémon collaboration with SPAM, and the Valorant drinks are a more everyday take on the trend.
As of now, the drink is limited to Germany, so fans elsewhere will have to wait. Fans in Germany can try both and decide which Agent makes the better drink.
