The 28-year-old streamer was steadily rising in her viewer counts over the past few months, but the escalation of her channel’s growth skyrocketed soon after she started streaming InnerSloth’s title ‘Among Us’.

The murder-mystery party game of stealth and deception which was originally released in 2018 itself didn’t receive much traction until July 2020, when some big streamers and YouTubers started playing it. From then on it was pretty much an uphill climb in the popularity of Among Us and the content creators playing the game as well.

In a recent Tweet on October 16th, Valkyrae revealed the stats on her channel’s growth over the last few months, which shows how much her channel has developed since the start of this year. For instance, the total number of views on her live streams changed from just over 300,000 in January 2020 to a whopping 11,000,000 in October.

Not to mention her broadcast hours have increased as well, from only 36 hours a month in January-February to 112 hours in September-October. Her concurrent viewers peaked at almost 67,000 over the last month, which, needless to say, is a remarkable achievement in itself.

Other big names who have gained significant growth by playing Among Us include streamers like Moistcr1tikal, Trainwreckstv, or Corpse Husband.
