In the aftermath of their elimination, Team SouL’s manager Siddhant “SID” Joshi, took to Twitter to address the situation head-on. In his first tweet, he acknowledged that the team did not perform well throughout the tournament, and their elimination from the tournament cannot be attributed to hard luck. Following this,hHe expressed his relief that the team had not qualified under such circumstances, stating that they were evidently not performing at their best.

In a separate tweet, Sid addressed the loyal fan base of Team SouL. He emphasized that fans should not dismiss the defeat by considering it as a single loss. He drew attention to the team’s subpar performances throughout the tournament and stated that the fans deserve nothing but victory from the team. Lastly, he promised fans that the team will perform better in the future.

Team SouL’s coach Amit “Amit” Dubey shared his thoughts on his Instagram story, admitting that their performance fell short of expectations. He also acknowledged the reality check that the team received and outlined the need for dedicated effort in preparation for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023.

The co-owners of S8UL Esports, Animesh “Thug” Agarwal and Naman “MortaL”Mathur, also talked about the situation. In his Instagram Story, Thug expressed disappointment and remarked that there was no point in qualifying if the team’s performance was subpar.

On the other hand, MortaL shared a more detailed perspective during his livestream. He addressed the situation head-on. He highlighted the tendency of young Indian players to realize their mistakes only after facing setbacks. MortaL drew parallels with his own experiences and reassured fans that the organization would address and solve the issues. Lastly, he added that this setback was much needed for the team to get the team back on track.
