Red Dead Redemption PC Release Could Be a Reality Soon

After 14 years of its release, Rockstar might be preparing for a launch of Red Dead Redemption on PC. This news comes after a Rockstar games specialist @TezFunz2 shared a screenshot from ‘Rockstar’s launcher site file’ on their X handle.

TezFunz2’s datamined screenshot suggests that Rockstar could be releasing the Read Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare expansion on PC very soon. The screenshot read “Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption.” The screenshot further added that Red Dead Redemption’s “zombie-horror” expansion- Undead Nightmare would also be accompanying the PC release.

This news has rejuvenated the Red Dead Redemption’s player base and has filled the gaming community with excitement. This is very evident as TezFunz2’s tweet was reposted 2.2k times amassing 1.6 million views at the time of writing.

Red Dead Redemption PC

In the past, we have seen a trend where Rockstar has prioritized the release of its games on PlayStation and Xbox. This is the same treatment Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2 have received. Grand Theft Auto 4 had to wait 8 months for its PC release whereas Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 had to wait a little over a year after their PlayStation and Xbox release.

Taking this trend into consideration, Red Dead Redemption’s PC port was long overdue as Red Dead Redemption hit the shelves in May 2010. Although no official statements have been released by Rockstar yet, everybody is hoping for a confirmation from Rockstar.
