PMPL Scrims season 3 to be the ultimate clash of top Asian squads

Will Team Secret and Bigetron lead to the imminent downfall of Indian teams' dominance?

With the actual PUBG Mobile Pro League tournament for South Asia stuck at a standstill, the concept of pro team scrims was introduced. The main motive of these scrims is to keep the viewers engaged and to not let the event’s hype die down. Two seasons of the scrims involving only South Asian teams have concluded and it looks like we will have a third season as well.

What makes this season unique is that this time, the top South Asian teams from the previous scrims will be facing the top squads from South East Asia as well. 20 teams will be from South Asia and India region and 4 new teams namely Team Secret, Bigetron, Illuminate the Murder and Morph will be joining them.

There will be 3 groups comprising of 8 teams each:

Group A

  • Bigetron RA
  • Illuminate the Murder
  • Godlike
  • UMumba RXN
  • Team Hype
  • Jyanmarra
  • Marcos Gaming
  • Team Soul

Group B

  • Morph Team
  • Celtz
  • Instinct Esports
  • VSG Crawlers
  • Team Xtreme
  • Orange Rock
  • Team IND
  • Deadeyes Guy

Group C

  • Team Secret
  • Fnatic
  • Megastars
  • TSM Entity
  • Elementrix
  • Synerge
  • Team Tamilas
  • Powerhouse

Each group consists of a fairly balanced combination of teams from each region. In the past two seasons of the scrims, Indian teams were unquestionably dominant as the South Asian squads were lagging behind in every aspect. With the entry of 4 new fearsome squads, it will be interesting to see whether Indian teams can keep the performance going.
