The 2025 League of Legends season may be over, but the celebrations in Seoul have only just finished. Riot Games Korea officially concluded its massive year-end photo exhibition, SEQUENCE 2025, transforming LoL PARK into a living museum of the LCK’s most dominant year in history.
If you missed the event that drew over 30,000 visitors to Jongno, we have the full breakdown of the gallery that immortalized the LCK’s “Grand Slam” of international titles. From emotional retirement tributes to pixel-art masterpieces, here is what went down at the SEQUENCE 2025 showcase.
What Was SEQUENCE 2025?
Running for three weeks through December, SEQUENCE 2025 was designed to tell the chronological story of the league’s first-ever single-season format. The exhibition turned the arena into three distinct zones, guiding fans through the highs and lows of the year:
- TEAM Zone: A dedicated space tracking the campaign of all 10 LCK organizations.
- SCENE Zone: A highlight reel of the year’s biggest plays, including domestic rivalries and international conquests.
- FAN Zone: A tribute to the community, featuring fan-made cheer signs and crowd shots from events in Seoul and abroad.
A Tribute to a Legend: Peanut Retires
One of the most emotional corners of the exhibition was a dedicated installation for Han “Peanut” Wang-ho. The legendary jungler, who capped off his career by lifting the inaugural First Stand 2025 trophy with Hanwha Life Esports, announced his retirement earlier this year.
The installation became a pilgrimage site for fans, who covered the walls with handwritten yellow notes thanking Peanut for a decade of excellence. It was a fitting send-off for a player who has been the heartbeat of the LCK since 2015.
LCK’s Perfect Year on Display
The gallery didn’t just celebrate players; it celebrated dominance. 2025 marked a historic year where LCK teams won every major global trophy available.
Special PosART (high-resolution metal prints) displayed the three crowning moments of the year:
- Hanwha Life Esports winning the First Stand tournament.
- Gen.G reclaiming the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) trophy after a near-perfect season.
- T1 securing a historic “Three-Peat” at the World Championship by defeating kt Rolster in an all-Korean final.
Interactive Art and Future Events
Beyond the photos, the exhibition leaned into gaming culture with retro-themed pixel art by Studio Pants, reinterpreting each team’s narrative as a classic video game.
With over 1,500 daily visitors and side events featuring rosters from Gen.G and Dplus KIA, the event proved that the appetite for LCK content is higher than ever. Riot Games has hinted that this “gallery” format might return, promising more off-season events to bridge the gap between competitive years.
