DreamHack India Announced For 2022, To Take Place In Hyderabad

The Indian gaming industry and esports fraternity have news to celebrate. DreamHack, one of the world’s largest esports and gaming festival organizers has announced their Indian event for the year 2022.

The announcement came in on DreamHack Day, where the company formalizes its calendar for the forthcoming years.

DreamHack Delhi, 2019

DreamHack Hyderabad 2022

DreamHack India will be set in Hyderabad, Telangana on October 29 – 31, 2022. The period is considered to be pre-holiday seasons in India with schools, colleges, and universities gearing up for vacations ahead of Diwali celebrations.

While no further details of the event have been learned, it is poised to be among the top gaming and esports events in India. Alongside mobile esports gaming, cosplays, and convention for brands, DreamHack is also known to have hosted entertainment-styled events for maximum traction.

DreamHack Day

Other than DreamHack Hyderabad 2022, the company has announced 9 more events set to take place in different parts of the world; there in the United States, two each in both Sweden and Spain, while Australia and the Netherlands share two more.

The first event of the DreamHack Calendar 2022 is DreamHack Anaheim, California, which commences on February 11th.

DreamHack Delhi 2019

The previous installment of Dreamhack was prior to the pandemic, DreamHack Delhi, which saw immense traction and success and brought together communities from PC & Mobile Gaming.

International teams like Goliath Gaming and Hell Raisers were invited to be a part of the mega event in Delhi, alongside other teams.

Influencers like Naman ‘MortaL’ Mathur was also a guest invitee, who delivered a speech and answers questions in interaction with Nodwin Gaming founder Akshat Rathee.
