Saints Row Reboot revealed during Gamescom 2021

Saints Row Reboot

After being teased for years, Volition has announced the next game in the Saints Row franchise, a complete reboot of the series and a departure from the previous games’ over-the-top and wacky aesthetic. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell came out in 2015, over six years ago which drove the story to a dead end.

Set in the American Southwest city of Santo Ileso, the reboot is going to feature a small cast of characters – The Boss (player), Neenah, Kevin, and Eli, and The Saints will be up against three rival gangs: Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall who will control a portion of the map each. Volition claims that Saints Row features the “biggest and best playground ever created.” Santo Ileso features nine unique districts, each with its own personality and activities and players will notice a lot of variety, especially during traversal.

Players will be able to purchase and customize properties, and, as a result, they can unlock various side activities and the popular Insurance Fraud minigame will return. Saints Row will also retain its drop-in dropout co-op where two players can play through the campaign seamlessly

Saints Row Reboot release date

Saints Row releases on February 25, 2022, on PC (Timed EGS Exclusive), Xbox One & Series S|X, and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

To celebrate the newest game in the franchise, Saints Row: The Third Remastered is free to claim on Epic Games Store.
