The Free Fire World Cup 2026 (FFWC 2026) is one of the biggest tournaments of the year for Free Fire fans. A total of 24 teams from different regions will battle for the championship title and a $1 million USD (around ₹8.5 crore) prize pool. Free Fire World Cup 2026 Dates

The Free Fire World Cup 2026 will be held from 15 July to 18 July 2026 in Paris, France. The four-day event is part of the Esports World Cup 2026, which features multiple esports titles and the world’s top organizations.

Free Fire World Cup 2026 Prize Pool

The tournament features a $1,000,000 USD prize pool, which is approximately ₹8.5 crore. Besides the prize money, teams will also compete for the prestigious Free Fire World Cup trophy and valuable Club Championship points for their organizations in the Esports World Cup.

Free Fire World Cup 2026 Format

The tournament is divided into three stages.

Group Stage (15-16 July)

The 24 participating teams will be split into two groups of 12 teams. Each group will play 12 matches.

After all matches are completed:

  • The top four teams from each group will qualify directly for the Grand Finals.
  • Teams finishing 5th to 10th in each group will move to the Survival Stage.
  • The bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated from the tournament.

Survival Stage (17 July)

The Survival Stage will feature 12 teams that finished between fifth and tenth place in the Group Stage.

These teams will play 10 matches, and only the top four teams in the overall standings will qualify for the Grand Finals. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals (18 July)

The Grand Finals will feature 12 teams—eight teams from the Group Stage and four teams from the Survival Stage.

The finals will use the Champion Rush format.

Teams must first reach 80 points to become Champion Rush Eligible. Once a team reaches this mark, it must secure a Booyah to immediately become the Free Fire World Cup 2026 champion.

If no eligible team wins a Booyah after all 10 matches, the team with the highest overall points will be crowned the champion.

Indian Teams at Free Fire World Cup 2026

India will have three representatives at the tournament.

  • Team Apex Gaming qualified after winning FFMIC 2026 Spring.
  • S8UL secured their place after finishing as the runner-up in the same tournament.
  • Total Gaming Esports qualified by finishing in third place.

All three teams have been preparing for the event by practicing against international teams using the Free Fire Global version. They will now aim to deliver strong performances against some of the world’s best squads.
