Fortnite and Resident Evil Requiem Unite in Horror Crossover

Epic Games and Capcom have now officially announced an exciting collaboration that brings Resident Evil Requiem content to Fortnite. This is a reward for the players who have supported the upcoming survival horror title through the Epic Games Store.

A pre-purchase of Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store will net players exclusive Fortnite cosmetics, frontlined by a character skin based on the game’s protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, the FBI agent, investigating mysterious deaths at the haunted Wrenwood Hotel in a post-apocalyptic Raccoon City, will join Fortnite’s roster as part of a bonus bundle scheduled to arrive in March 2026.

This is Capcom’s first appearance on the Epic Games Store and is a new chapter in the ever-growing partnership between the horror franchise and battle royale phenomenon. While certain specifics concerning more cosmetic items remain undisclosed, Epic Games has teased that “other items” will join the Grace outfit, including back blings, pickaxes, and emotes, as part of this package.

The collaboration arrives as Fortnite continues its Halloween-themed Fortnitemares event, which has already featured crossovers with Friday the 13th, Scream, and The Terrifier. Grace Ashcroft joins previous Resident Evil characters in Fortnite, including Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline entry in the legendary survival horror series, launches on February 27, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms. The title can now be preordered for $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition will be made available for $79.99, which includes exclusive costumes and weapon skins.

Beyond Fortnite, Capcom has announced a series of other collaboration projects, including a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and the franchise’s first amiibo figure, which features Grace Ashcroft and is targeted for summer 2026 release.
